The bloke behind the bar is very friendly and makes you want to be a repeat customer but the drink prices aren't consistent from round to round despite being the same order. The food is disappointing and inconsistent. 2 Orders of fish & chips @ $25 equated to one plate of fish being overcooked, dry, chewy and inedible with cold chips and the other plate of crispy fish & fresh chips. The venue itself is exceptionally cold so make sure you rug up.

Came down from Victoria for a week. Nice gym in York to keep myself shredded. Staff were nice and friendly. :)

We had a great time at the York show.

A big thank you to the Forrest Bar and Cafe team for the fantastic meal and service for the York Seniors Mobility Group Christmas break up. A most enjoyable experience.

Was great day out at the York show apart from the rain. Afterwards went into York for lunch at the Chinese restaurant which was very nice food

We had a lovely meal last night. Staff and venue are great. We be going back thats for sure.

Excellent amenities available on site for those attending the York Motorcycle Festival (camping was allowed for the weekend). Rec centre has a bar and restaurant set up
