Came here a few days ago with my wife and... I am still having dreams about the night- and no, not about the wife, but about the dinner. I have never had such creamy, flavourful and tender oysters in my life. For the low price of 2 dollars per oyster, the quality is tough to beat. The sashimi and scallops were also quite delicious as well. My only complaint is that uni bowl was a bit steep. Would highly recommend.

Uni Uni Uni, that's what this place is all about. They have a huge selection of menu items that revolve around uni and fresh seafood, so you'll for sure find something that you want to try here. Of course, you should expect the price to be on the higher end, but also very reasonable for the ingredients they are using. The service is also very good. The waiters take good care of you and there are a lot of complimentary services that contribute to a complete experience. Would highly recommend coming to try this place out if you're a seafood lover!

It’s like a hidden gem. Beautiful seafood platter, eel and soy sauce with wasabi. Never had anything good like this. We ordered one noodle soup but it tastes just average. Everything else is superb. They also have unlimited seaweed to wrap the sea urchin. Excellent customer service. Highly recommended.

Hidden little restaurant a bit away from the busy Glen Shopping centre. Signature Sea Urchin dish was fresh and well prepared, fast and attentive service to boot. You can see the kitchen preparing the dish live from the kitchen counter so you know it's all prepared on demand

Been few times with friends or by our own also take away(Like the way they pack the food with care and use environmental protection box)~ like the food there,but my husband wasn't a fan😂 *surprise box is recommend and ur kids would love it! *Tried some different dishes but my favourite is the milk tea 😄and eight elements signature dish(you just order one and everything in it)

We enjoyed our dinner here. Really enjoyed the salmon, oysters and curry fish balls the best. All good seems fresh and very tasty. So happy we checked this place out. It's in a weird spot, with a restaurant embedded in an old factory. Service was nice. And prices are very reasonable. Will definitely be back and tell all our friends about this place. Just go if you love seafood.

From the moment you enter you are definitely surprised 😮 service was very good, and loved the educational gallery content decked throughout 🤯 The Family mini don priced at a premium $128.88 set was such a luxurious meal& all ingredients tasted particularly fresh- the sea urchin was creamy and not overpowering. The nourishing Korean ginseng chicken soup $39.90 was also spectacular- slurped it clean and was a true stand out! We also tried the Treasure box $29.90 which came with various sea urchin tastings. The dining atmosphere is moody and unique- and surprised it was quite busy with locals looking for a delicious premium seafood experience. P.s in some aspects the decor is a bit random but definitely in theme to the “under the sea” experience! AND the toilets are worth a visit 😂

First time in The Roe Restaurant and YOU have to go!!!!! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food. (They said it’s a sea urchin Themed Restaurant!) The Sea Urchin is to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! All of the seafood is super fresh ! The SERVICE we received was so amazing !!! Nice place to enjoy the urchin dishes. It is much easier to find the front door than years ago as it has been relocated to a new space. Great decoration and environment. The food taste good and the plate of kids meal is lovely. And I like the taste of soy sauce.

Such a novel experience in an unsuspecting location. Food is excellent quality and i believe reasonably priced for what you get with lots of variety. Staff were very lovely and friendly, they even gave mum a song, small gift and mochi to celebrate her birthday. Hallway is like a mini sea urchin educational museum which was interesting to read about and look at.

We entered a restaurant with a focus on sea urchin dishes. We were warmly greeted with a detailed video introduction about Australian sea urchins. Here, I witnessed the creation of sea urchin dumplings, generously filled with succulent sea urchin meat, and prepared with great craftsmanship for an authentic and delightful flavor. The staff was exceptionally friendly and the dishes were truly unique. In addition to savoring the cuisine, the servers also enlightened us about the threats posed to Australian kelp forests by sea urchins. It turns out that by enjoying sea urchins, we can also contribute to the preservation of Australian marine ecosystems.

LOVE the entrance, felt like we have gone into an aquarium. Sea urchin was fresh and delicious and the staff was attentive. The shop owner upstairs was kind and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Lounge-like atmosphere with smooth jazz music. Service was nice and efficient, quite friendly and patient. Food came quickly and serving portions were surprisingly big. The seafood tasted very fresh. Really loved the Chawanmushi. Lighting was a bit dim, but not too noticeable.

Uni or sea urchin is a tasty and edible ingredient being neglected by many. This place brings the best out of it by many fusion and innovative dishes. All the sashimi and ingredients are so fresh and well presented, definitely exceed our expectations. This renowned restaurant has been on my bucket list for ages and today we finally visited. Although the exterior didn't strike me at first, it is definitely a hidden pearl. Believe it or not, every dish was a highlight, with luxurious decorations befitting to the restaurant's aesthetic. The time and effort spent preparing these supreme dishes is simplying mind-blowing!!! Notably, the 8A sea urchin had a divine taste so soft and unforgettable that my mum teared up the moment she tasted it. Overall, an extremely exquisite dining experience, would recommend to all my friends. 🥰🥰🥰

Second time here. I would say just stick to donburis and uni dishes and sashimi. It is a unique experience here. Very different to a typical seafood restaurant you’ll come across. In a way very casual but still good service and good quality food. First time I visited, had their signature uni donburi set. I’d go back to get that and other sashimi platters or uni dishes with more people for sharing. The uni hotdog wasn’t that great though not the nigiri set. But the unagi/foie gras donburi was nice.

I totally enjoyed myself 😊, my first time trying Urchin... Yummy 😋. Big picture, a great Asian eating experience. A wonderful feeling when entering, I was quite excited 😆. The other option where just as nice and every one on the table agreed. As I did not fully understand the eating style the staff helped me ... thanks. Unfortunately not licenced and no BYO. Hmmmm hopefully they will fix that soon

Love the excellent and attentive service throughout by this restaurant. Menu is great price and reasonable for the quality that they served. Sea urchins 12A grade is fresh and taste sweet, the sea urchins soup are really yummy! The wagyu MBS10+ is so tender, delicious and cooked to perfection! Dumplings are not quite to my liking but for the value which is good for you to try them. Birds nest and peach gum milk tea are nice and not too sweet at all! Desserts are a good note to finish. Overall I will give 8.5/10! Thank you!

Uni Boom Boom has moved down the street into what appears to potentially have once been a medical center. Odd choice to black out the windows, but as a vampire I love it! Coming from Toronto, we've had our fair share of great uni but this place definitely tops it in terms of quality and especially price! Great selection of uni and sashimi was super fresh as well. We got uni popcorn as souvenirs from their marketplace as well. Thank you for an awesome experience!

A very good dining experience. The receptionist is very patient in introducing food choices, and the dining environment makes you feel like you are in the world of sea urchins. The quality of the food is very fresh, and you don’t have to worry about the arrival of children. There are meals suitable for children, and you also get a Cute sea urchin toy

Really enjoyed the experience provided by the workers here and it added to the atmosphere. You could taste the umami flavour from the sea urchin roe in the dishes. Really recommend for a special experience!
