We are based in South Goa about 47kms from Firstcry Porvorim, we usually visit the store located in Borda, however they do not have kids bicycles, so we decided to go to Porvorim store. The staff at Porvorim location is great, attentive and helpful. We purchased a bicycle ‘R for Rabbit’, the billing experience was good except that staff keeps pushing to do some membership which cost around Rs 300/- so we did it, was same experience at Borda store. We imagine they might have some target/commission or been instructed by management. The staff also requested us to write a review, hence here it is. The MRP listed for this bicycle in the store was Rs 8991/- after so called discount it was Rs 7552.44/- , we looked up the website of firstcry and searched exact same model, it is listed as Rs 6929.82/- (inclusive of taxes and free home delivery) There is difference of Rs 2061.18/- between the two MRP’s. We understand sometimes assembling charges, showroom maintenance, salaries etc, but 1/3rd the price of product is too much. Also the bicycle although brand new was not smooth, we had to take it to private repair guy who adjusted the disc break, it had slight bent. We like the quality of the bicycle, the product is no issue, but would like and explanation for the difference in the two MRP’s. Attached screenshot of store receipt and online listing. We can see 2 months ago in a review from Chetana Vernekar that she had a similar experience and the Owner replied that he’ll do better in future and maybe some system error. Seems to be a repeated thing.

This one is a nice place for any of your baby related stuff. The staff are very cooperative, helpful and have adequate knowledge of the products. Location is also convenient. There offer a variety of products and optimum prices to suit most requirements.

Poor experience.. They are detoriating the brand value of First cry. Bought 2 wheeler scooter for 5 year kids.. all looked like used one.. after confronting they just said it is like that stickers on scooter worn out.. since it was urgent we need to take but no cooperation should be taken to consumer forum for charging gift raap that too brand First cry.. Ignorant staff. I guess online would have got good packing and decent new cycle

Honestly, I have never experienced customer satisfaction in Goa. Most employees in stores are disinterested and lack product knowledge. Contrarily, the employees of Firstcry, Porvorim are professional, friendly and have a good understanding of the customer's pulse. We were pleasantly surprised when one of their employees - Swapnil Gaonkar volunteered to deliver a gift purchased by us. As a matter of fact, he called me after his weekly off and had the gift delivered. Beats Amazon hands down!! Thank you so much, Swapnil!!! You are a star employee. Firstcry is lucky to have someone like you. You go beyond your duty and deliver customer delight! Thanks to you, we have become your loyal customers!

I visited store in porvorim i bought 2 sets of dress. They didn't even gave a single rupee discount. Total was rs.4698 .And online they show offers and discount. And they do even exchange or refurnd the product once sold.

One star only because I need to give a star. Horrible experience. Paid them twice for a garment and they're still not refunding my money, using several excuses even though it is showing in both our transactions that they were paid twice. Making customers wait endlessly for their own money... Which isn't refunded... Making customers run up and down... Money can't buy reputation, remember that!

I have ordered a baby cot for my new born baby girl, while puchasing online it was mentioned that the delivery will be on 14th August, 2021 and today we already finished 18th August still I haven't yet received the baby cot, even after raising complaints, no action taken and they are relaxed as I have already done the payment online through First cry mobile app, First cry must compensate, I have even ordered one baby cycle from the mobile app which is not that urgent for me but I am sure even that will not get delivered on time, My wife is angry as I ordered through online through First cry.

Its a 2 storey store with limited choice. Their online store has much to offer than compared to this offline kind of. There is vehicle parking space.

The CRO was really helpful in guiding us to find what we had been looking for. However while billing for the same we asked for a gift wrap. Sadly the gift was wrapped in a golden paper and on questioning they said they did not have the first cry gift paper which was not informed to us while billing. We later requeated for a carry bag of first cry, but they said they did not have a carry bag big enough for our purchase to fit in. This was really disappointing.

Great experience shopping at First cry Porvorim store. A special mention to Trupti from the store for being very resourceful and helpful in our purchase of a car seat today. Even though she was not fully aware of a certain detail, she ensured to get us an answer using the manual and helped fit the seat in the car. Found one of the expensive outlets. Very less discounts. Everything is chargeable like gift rap and carry bag, which is not the case in other places. Variety is less.

Purchased a walker for my baby but I had to return it as it was too flimsy and my baby kept falling off. It was very disappointing to know that I couldn’t get a refund instead was told I had to purchase items of the same value. This is unfair and unacceptable. I was told I could return/exchange the items within 7 days of purchase.

Pathetic service..I can't even give them one star, I had bought automatic swinging cradle from first cry porvorim-Goa for 11k . On 11 july my babys naming ceremony was there..so we had bought it on 9th July I just used that cradle for 10-12 days for some days I din use dat cradle and aftr 5 days wen I went to clean it as I was going to make my baby sleep in it..guess what I saw there were full fungus in cradle cloth..we been to porvorim shop but there is no reply yet from them buying branded cradle of first cry is waste of money

Excellence service by both the girls Amilrun & Dikshita. Both installed Isofix system in the car in absence of any male staff. They could have easily ask me to come back later but they did not excuse themselves and did the work to our satisfaction. We highly recommended this store. Good energy.
