Once my go to store for a big shop once a fortnight , now you're encouraged to scan your own shopping . I will no more scan my own shopping then get a broom and sweep the floor ! Sainsbury's and Lidl for me for now on .

Things have really improved here, There's a good range of goods now.. Not So many empty shelves, particularly items on offer,that we're not replaced. I go there every other day. The checkout staff are nice - polite etc. The Car park can get a bit tight.. But it's better than it was..well done guys👍.

Had a meal in the restaurant. The chap on the counter was very helpful. The woman wasn't. I had egg, sausages (3), beans and chips, which was nicely cooked but two things I didn't like. I thought £1 for an extra egg was extortionate, and there were no napkins available. When I asked the woman, her answer was "there aren't any." I would have thought that they would have had supplies or even got some from the shop floor. No napkins for tables, just empty napkin dispensers. It's definitely not the ideal experience.

Thy have a strange deal on henry westerns cider?? Occasionally they add it to the multi buy?? Other than that u might aswell go to Tesco cos its not cheap at £11 a box of 6 Asda done me 2x box ov 6 for £8 a box shop was sold out at that?? Thy do do a better deal for 4x box for £30a £14 differentce in price?? 🤔🤠👍

Service was a little slow, but I think they were busy. I was very surprised by the size of the fish! I did manage to eat almost all of it but had to leave some of the peas as it was very filling. The fish was lovely and moist with a good crispy batter, the chips were also nice and crispy without being overcooked.

Remember the days when this was a Safeway. Its a small store and they have tried to cram too much into it. Being in the centre of Newport there is no space to expand. Wheelchair accessible entrance. Cafe and toilets to the side. Its your typical Morrisons but its just very tired looking and everyone feels on top of everyone else due to the store being small.

Cafe, was the worst place ever. One menu in the whole place. Miserable staff. No Apple crumble or tea cakes at 11am. No tea spoons. Staff can't be bothered. Toilet have been disgusting for years.

Me and my partner always have breakfast there on a Sunday but in recent months its gone down hill cutlery dirty, bits of our order always missing today they forgot our toast and I had a pea in my beans there was only one machine that has hot water for the tea and the cups are nearly all stained service very slow. wish I didn't have to write this because the staff are really friendly.
