This
facility
is
only
focused
on
billing
for
services.
Not
patient
care.
I
have
NEVER
in
my
life
experienced
such
madness!!
I
contacted
twin
City
Dental
back
in
February,
as
I
use
to
be
a
patient
there
prior
to
COVID.
I
expressed
my
dental
emergencies
as
I
was
having
tooth
pain.
They
weren't
able
to
get
me
in
for
a
few
weeks,
which
I
understood.
I
went
to
1st
appointment,
paid
for
exams
and
evaluation
and
treatment
plan.
It
was
deemed
that
the
tooth
would
be
removed.
I
was
told
I
would
have
to
have
a
teeth
cleaning
first.
As
time
goes
on
the
pain
in
my
tooth
is
getting
progressively
worse.
I
call
and
say
my
mouth
is
in
too
much
pain
for
a
cleaning.
I
was
told
I
had
to
have
the
cleaning,
as
I
had
to
be
an
"established"
patient.
It
was
agreed
they
would
not
clean
near
the
area
that
was
sore.
So
against
my
better
judgment
i
went
to
appointment
and
paid
for
cleaning.
Then
the
impressions
were
scheduled
for
yesterday
along
with
extraction
2
weeks
later.
Yesterday
as
I
am
driving
to
my
appointment
the
receptionist
called
and
informs
me
that
Dr.
King
won't
be
doing
the
impressions
today,
it
was
deemed
that
the
fillings
have
to
happen
first.
As
you
can
imagine
I
become
very
upset.
As
my
tooth
has
been
in
pain
since
February
and
it's
just
getting
progressively
worse
as
time
goes
on.
I
was
told
I
have
to
be
"established
"
in
order
to
get
the
impressions.
I
remind
her
of
the
pain
that
I
am
in,
in
which
she
admits
they
are
all
aware
I'm
in
pain.That
it
has
to
be
done
this
way
and
if
I
don't
like
it
to
go
somewhere
else.
I
became
VERY
upset,
as
I
just
need
to
get
this
tooth
out,
full
on
panic
attack
at
this
point.
I
calm
myself
and
decide
I
will
never
go
back
into
that
facility
again.
And
start
calling
dentists.
I
found
one
that
was
able
to
get
me
in
at
2:30
that
day.
The
new
facility
told
me
to
go
into
Twin
City
Dental
and
sign
a
records
release.
Which
I
did.
But
I
had
this
feeling
they
wouldn't
release
my
records.
She
said
not
to
worry,
they
would
call
and
it
would
be
ok.
Twin
City
Dental
refused
to
send
my
records
stating
they
couldn't
send
it
until
next
week.
My
new
dentist
explained
this
is
a
very
simple
procedure
that
occurs
through
email,
and
only
takes
a
minute
and
this
was
a
very
normal
request,
with
no
level
of
difficulty.
Let's
just
say
no
one
was
surprised
they
refused
to
send
my
records.
They
simply
stated
that
they
would
send
them
at
some
point
next
week.
Yesterday
was
Tuesday,
and
they
can't
send
them
until
next
week.
Insane.
I
was
examined
by
new
dentist.
I
had
to
pay
for
another
x-ray
since
Twin
City
was
withholding
my
dental
records.
I
just
paid
for
x
rays
just
3
weeks
ago
at
Twin
City.
But
I
paid
for
it
because
at
this
point
I
can
no
longer
stand
the
pain.
I
also
had
impressions
done
yesterday
at
new
facility,
along
with
ordered
partials
and
tooth
extraction
scheduled.
Antibiotics
were
prescribed
as
my
tooth
IS
infected.
Which
quite
frankly
put
my
heath
at
risk,
as
an
abcessed
tooth
left
untreated
can
be
deadly.
This
facility
doesn't
have
the
best
interest
of
the
patients
at
heart.
I
was
more
than
willing
to
have
the
fillings
done
after
my
dental
emergency
was
handled.
Their
philosophy
of
"established
"
translates
into
must
bill
for
all
services
first
so
they
can
hold
the
patient
hostage
to
get
all
services
done
before
addressing
the
emergency.
The
fact
is,
no
I
did
NOT
have
to
have
the
fillings
done
before
impressions
as
they
new
dentist
did
the
impressions
yesterday.
The
fact
is
I
had
an
abcessed
tooth.
The
fact
that
they
are
withholding
my
dental
records
out
of
retaliation
speaks
volumes
about
who
they
are
as
a
practice.
I
have
reported
this
incident
to
The
Attorney
General
office
and
the
Better
Business
Bureau
and
fully
intend
to
report
to
The
State
of
Maine.
Someone
needs
to
investigate
this
facility
and
their
practices.
I
do
not
recommend
this
facility.
