Very disrespectful of appointments. Extremely hard to get an appointment as the phone lines are always blocked. I finally get an appointment for my little baby and even after arriving earlier than the time. I was made to sit and wait for over 30mins before being attended to. This is a constant practice in my last 3 appointments. Unfortunately the front desk staff are completely clueless, poorly trained and also rude. While I understand that the whole system is on pressure, I believe mutual respect for time should be prioritized by this GP Practice.

Very disturbing surgery. DONT SIGNUP HERE i would never recommend to anyone as they are very Receptionist are vile if they believe thats how to speak to patients or any human. The new doctors are lovely, but the doctors that have been there for a long time are the worst. Rather then asking you your issue they dictate which i found very concerning as this is not what i want for myself . Very forceful, i will be looking into the healthcare side of things and hopefully reporting Mr.Hussain for the horrible service he is allowing to the correct department. Patients health is at risk.

I'm an immigration lawyer, and a number of my clients are registered with Pearl. Clients routinely report that when they have asked to access their medical records (through a letter I send them with), they have instead been given a letter from the practice confirming registration, and been charged. The letter is not fit for the purposes of proving continuous residence, whereas the medical records which are free to access, are. It would appear that this practice deliberately preys upon patients who have lower than average proficiency in the English language, in order to make a few more quid. I will be reporting them to the local NHS Trust and the ICO.

Worst surgery, i have walked away from this curgery more sick and unwell then before. I have been given wrong medication twice. You ask to see a doctor, they purposley send you an appointment with a nurse or a pharmacist that dont know whats going on so they googling health conditions infront of patients. Please dont signup here if you want help for yourself as they will make you beg till you cant beg no more. Disgusting and i hope soon they close down because alot of peoples healths are at risk. Please public be careful.

Terrible! My mum has not been able to make an appointment in months, even when she calls early in the morning they never have availability. Even through 111 they can’t seem to get any availability. On top of that, if she miraculously gets and appointment they do not explain anything in detail to her and are very unbothered about symptoms and health issues she’s highlighted. Awful, awful! Surgery’s like this must be held accountable by the government in some way or form- utter disgrace!

Such a horrible gp surgery who neglect their patients and are so rude when questioned about their professional service . Leave you without treatment and deny the fact they have prescribed prescription and just cut you off and don’t answer the phone when you call back !! Whole staff within this practice are bad as each other time to shut this practice down !!!!

The female receptionist is vile seems to think she is a gp herself and asked questions which didn't need to be asked by herself but rather a gp! When I tried to book a appointment because I didn't tell her personal information like who lived. My house and why my husband couldn't look after the other kids or if I was even married she hung up the phone bad surgery avoid avoid avoid!!!

Horrid experience in healthcare. As a healthcare professinal im shocked this surgery is still running. Very rude reception staff , she was a young girl who shouted at a woman in waiting room as she could not speak english. This same girl later yelled at me and told me to sit down and bloody wait for a printout she refused to do because she was angry and made me wait 42minutes. Far as i see, this is against healthecare rules and regulations and also in policy and procedure when patients come for Help , the shouldnt be abused at or made feel stressed and really upset as i was

Not even worth a rating such a disappointment from the receptionist to the drs...there way or no way ...no time for patients but what they want you to do without even explaining your problem. And then we blame the NHS it's the professionals behind it who fail it for the sake of money making.

Parked in the back car park upon leaving had a female member of staff approached me sayings its a staff car park and she claimed was in a sign on the gate. I explained theirs no signs saying that its staff parking and a sign saying blue badge holders can park. She looked at the sign realising she was wrong bit still trying to show shes the boss she approached me as I reversed my car she asked to see my blue badge I said you should have checked that when I was parked not when I'm reversing out on to a main rd. Her response was to tell me to f#&% off. Nothing new as alot of the staff here have always been very rude. If it wasnt for the fact i have got a good relationship with my GP (over 20yrs) i would have left ages ago. Pearls Customer Service skills are terrible they do and say what ever they want, everyone working here is a chief.

The GP/doctor had an appointment with me over the phone. Did NOT ring but instead sent a text to ask for feedback, called in and found out he wrote in my records she didnt attend my calls. Im sorry but if you keep lying to patients they will catch onto whats going on. I wouldnt book if i didnt need medical help and attention but when i read what they have bwen writing in my file my eyes where in shock. Please ask to see your record pearl medical centre is not to be trusted.

I have been with Pearl Medical for 14 years now, yes appointment get taken throught online app and continuous phone calls . In my experience with My son, we had medical issues and the support I got was well escalated. However with the Government's cut back, made it harder to get hold of cheap medication for the adult. Primary care can only advise on remedies over counter. My last experience been helpful and very understanding, receptionist been poilet and calm underpressure. I have moved area and i had to rejoin pearl medical again I couldn't honestly be happier with them.

Really BAD gp unfortunately couldn’t give it no rating but if I could it’s a zero for me because it’s always long to get a hold of an appointment and when you do ur only given paracetamol or wrongly diagnosed and put on meds you don’t need I would definitely NOT Recommend this gp to no one not even my worst enemy that’s how bad they are. This gp has failed us as service users definitely needs to SHUT DOWN.

They should look at the reviews. But obviously they don’t care, or the would have done something to change. There is no worse GB in birmingham than them. Those receptionist should be a shame of themselves. They don’t see patients as human being. It should be closed before they cause someone to loose their life

I had an appointment today for blood test. I was waiting for 40min when I went to Heidi the nurse on her computer it said 3:40pm and my appointment was at 2. When I went back down stairs and confronted the receptionist they should have told me. One of the dr come while I was asking for a complained form he said that “ That is not going to do anything “ but have it. Worst experience I would say I don’t want to give them even 1 star

Would not recommend joining this surgery, everyone is so rude and condescending. The lifts haven’t worked for over 10 years now and the doctors then throw a hissy fit when they have to come see you in a downstairs office because you can’t climb the stairs with a disability! Would rate it 0 stars if I could.

Worst GP I have ever went to. The customer service? trash. The decour? Trash. The building itself? Trash; the whole gp is just in ruins, the place seems so outdated that its actually scary. I went in today as I had an appointment and I came in on time and they made me wait 40 minutes! the receptionists are also so unhelpful and lack heavy training, do not book an appointment in! The only reason im giving them a 2 star (as they actually deserve worse) is because the doctors are actually wayyy nicer than the receptionists and are very understanding.

Rang the surgery in the morning and they had no appointments. However, a kind lady at reception called me back for a cancellation on the day. Really impressed with the care. Had my consultation with the clinical Pharmacist (Ashfaq) who was excellent in demonstrating quality care. Really impressed with him and the care that he provided my son.
