Registered with Dr Khuroo practice. Made appointement for my daughter Friday 17th Nov with Dr Malik as she was puking had a temperature for many days and was generally very poorely. Dr. checked her and said shes ok give her honey and lemon and blamed it on a "viral infection".. she can go back to school. Same night she kept puking repeatidly high temp was not going away with paracetomol + ibuprofen. Had some urine test stripts at home so I done a urine test and came positive for high leukocytes. Took her walk in centre next day and she was prescribed antibiotics and the doc was suprised that the Dr. Malk didnt do a urine test. I really hope doctors pay more attention to parents concerns and check patients thoroughly. Maybe Dr. Malik has taken an oath to save the NHS budget single handedly but it seems he is very reluctant to prescribe any medicines even if the patient is severly ill.

I genuinely don't know what I should say about this surgery. I'm surprised they call themselves doctors! The most incompetent and uncaring people I have ever come across. I genuinely believe somebody could die Infront of them and they wouldn't care. I am not even angry. I'm just sad as to how health professionals claiming to be doctors can be so uncaring and unprofessional towards their patients. Not to mention, the reception staff need to go back to school and maybe learn a few lessons on basic manners on how to speak and behave with people. Absolutely abysmal! If you can't be bothered to treat patients in need, then don't !

Where do I start...... I have been trying to change surgery for years for the following reasons, Dr Khruoo noticed a mole on my neck and said she was concerned about it and would refer me ASAP, a week later I said I havenโ€™t had any letters for any appointments, she later called to say she forgot to send my referral off .. Shocking! I went for inhalers she started offering me anti depressants.. I email for my medical information regarding a private operation and she fails to respond or supply the information leaving me with extra financial charges. Honestly Shocking. Nurse Bianca is probably the only good thing she has going at that practice.

Absolutely abysmal care by Dr Khuroo. I called to let her know I had suddenly started having migraines twice a week. She has never met me or read my file since I registered online during lockdown, but she saw that I was on antidepressants and have a chronic genetic condition, and told me that I should stop taking my nerve pain medicine immediately and I shouldn't be on so many tablets (I am on 3, one for depression, a contraceptive and one for the nerve pain from hEDS, hardly a lot) and she said she wouldn't give me any pain relief and said she wouldn't even listen to the other issue I phoned up about because she thought I was just trying to get painkillers. I had 3 days of horrendous withdrawal with a 40-hour migraine, fevers, vomiting and chills from stopping my antidepressant cold-turkey like she told me to, and my migraines are still happening for up to 8 hours about 3 times a week. Having looked on the NHS website the medicine she told me to stop taking specifies that it should NEVER be stopped suddenly, so she is either incompetent or did this to me because she didn't believe I was on pain and thought I deserved punishing for wasting her time. She will not believe I need help so I've had to pay out of pocket to see a specialist privately, who found that 5 of my vertebra were stuck and causing this pain. I will go to walk-ins or phone NHS 111 if I need help again, I would never speak to this uncaring judgemental "doctor" again if my life depended upon it.

Actually few times I been there and every time more regrets. Never been happy by this Gp and I was wondering how come she doesnโ€™t know that they can refer some one vulnerable for COVID 19 vaccines. I have been suffering from COVID 19 for two month as been infected two month ago and I was dying when I phoned her first time but she said canโ€™t refer me to hospital and when I called her receptionist , she unprofessionally said somethings that was deteriorating my fog brain. Feel sorry to say that she is absolutely incompetent. The only one that works precessional is Dr shahid Malik and everyone else just disappointing.

Donโ€™t ever book a phone appointment. They are never on time!! You are left waiting by the phone Book a face to face as those patients are put first!

I rarely post reviews but Dr Khuroo's practice is exceptional in it's service and I felt compelled to recommend the surgery to all those reading this on the world wide web. I would like to comment on what a kind and caring practitioner Dr Khuroo is and her approach to patient led care. As with other aspects of my life, it is crucial as a patient to feel involved and in charge of my health. This is one of the best practices in the country and the staff deserve the highest level of recognition for all their hard work through one of the worst healthcare crises the world has ever seen.

Honestly, how this surgery still has a license is beyond me. Shocking service , even before the Pandemic. It's impossible to get an appointment face-to-face, and when you do finally get any form of appointment, the staff just seem disinterested in helping you and want to get you out as soon as possible.

Used to be such a good doctors! The standards have dropped so low over the last 3 months. Iโ€™ve been with them for years and always rated them but sadly they no longer provide the great service which they previously did. Delayed appointments, takes weeks to get results back, reluctant to give you medication! I hope they go back to the standards they were known for but with the pressure that is on the NHS, I canโ€™t see it!

Called the practice yesterday and got a call from Dr Khuroo, explained my problem and got a face to face apt next day (today). Went in and managed to get a good outcome...it can be hit and miss at times but as I work within the NHS I have experiences on both sides of the fence, I can understand some of the frustrations and complaint frm these other review but I can also understand the issues the Drs are currently facing in the NHS esp in this pandemic...it is a good practice overall, the Drs are caring, everytime I have had problems whether for myself or my parents I have had good care from Dr Khuroo.

Dr Khuroo's is by far the best practice I've attended to date. The service provided is exceptional, direct yet compassionate and I would recommend them to any and everyone.

๐Ÿ˜  Awful!!! If you're ever fortunate enough to get through all they ever offer is a telephone call back. Dr kept ringing my old phone number even though I told them repeatedly that I'd changed it. All the receptionist says is call 111 total joke. Had an on going issue with my ear now for a month and s...

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ I wanted to place on record our gratitude to Dr Shah and the rest of the team at West Heath Surgery.
