Came for my first visit today with my girlfriend for lunch. Ordered the omelette, toasty, 2 milkshakes and 2 smoothies. The omelette was very hard to eat, I couldn’t manage to even eat half of it. Overloaded with ham and way too many mushrooms that were inedible. The salad was hardly a salad, it was 5 leaves of lettuce with 2 tomatoes and 6 tiny pieces of diced onion. The lettuce was bitter and sauce was odd. The toasty was fine, quite flavourful but again, overloaded with ham. I would never pay £5.50 for a generic cheese toasty again, I think half that would be a reasonable price for the amount and quality you get. As for the milkshakes, we had chocolate and vanilla. The chocolate one tasted just like store bought chocolate mousse with mousse consistency. The vanilla had no vanilla flavour, It tasted vaguely like ASDA vanilla milk. Would also like to add that the plastic takeaway cups and plastic straws made it feel extremely tacky and cheap even though it is far from cheap. I expected pint glasses as we were dining in and was disappointed. The smoothies were amazing, by far the best thing there with fresh fruit that is just the right sweetness and texture. Biggest reason for the low rating is the pricing. I paid £26 for the items in the picture. Even now in hindsight i feel like a moron for spending that much money at a café. Would never come for food again but enjoyed the smoothies.

Deserved a 1 for the coffee! Ordered Spanish tortilla - precooked hard rubber egg, potatoes black and salad well couldn’t call it that but had brown edged gem leaves and core of the onion not chopped off. No idea what the disgusting brown sauce was on it! Tuna cheese toasty - mishmash of cheese cheddar and plastic yellow 🤢 I asked waitress to take the full plate of food away, didn’t give me chance to tell her why… really up didn’t care! 20 quid brunch waste of money.

I had a bacon guacamole and cheese melt toastie and my hubbie had a full English. Great selection of loose leaf teas, smoothies and milkshakes also available. Still to investigate the awesome looking cake selection available. As always it is heaving at a weekend.

We were travelling through Solihull when we come across this Gem , not many cafes open on a Sunday but we were so glad it was. Breakfast was amazing , staff were very friendly and service was great. Would definitely be recommending and will definitely be back.

Very friendly environment, both my daughter's regularly visit and both say they found it 1st! Anyway, you are welcomed to a buzzing atmosphere ,with more seating now, as they've extended next door recently, so business is good. Food is well presented, quality excellent, and the service is over and above ( how it should be). Would highly recommend, but same us a seat please!

Wonderful venue. Enjoy coming here for breakfast and most recently hosted daughter's 5th birthday. The staff were very attentive providing a children's tea party, decorating the reserved area and allowing us to use facilities after closing time for private use. Really laid back and easy to plan. Daughter and friends had a wonderful time. Waffles were a massive hit with the kids and hot drinks for the parents all round. Even got the leftovers to share with family at home afterwards. Definitely recommend and will be back for a treat sometime soon. Thanks to all of the team involved in the day.

The Two Mugs confirms that those that gave it a 5* rating weren't wrong. Cuppa of fresh brewed leaf tea and a standard size Full English, (one sausage, half a tomato, baked beans, two rashes of good bacon, an egg, mushrooms and a round of toast and butter) came to £10 and was worth every penny. It was served quickly and was delicious. Highly recommended.

We normally order chicken smoky toasty with milkshakes, and CAKES but recently cream has been changed to flavoured cream. No more homemade. Lovely staff special the twin cashier girl, always full and very clean and neat, close at 3 pm the only con.

First time visit following the high rating on Google. Lovely food, carefully cooked and a great place to be. Buzzing. Great to support a local business now we can eat inside again. Top tip: ask for more maple syrup if you have the waffles.

Very busy for a Sunday at 1030am, staff were quick to clean up the tables. Food was mediocre, ordered a latte and vegetable omelette which was tough, no cheese where it war bulked up with lots of onions. Limited opinions for vegetarians

Wow...I was amazed from the entrance all the way out to the exit. Get in ask for a table, sit check the menu, get up go to the counter and place your order, and just sit an wait for the most biggest plate to come over to you with delicious foods. 1 of best breakfasts of my visits to similar places, and while im here I'm visiting again tomorrow for the healthy bowl.

Went recently with a friend and waited 30+ mins for coffees and lunch. When I asked if we'd been forgotten no one seemed to know what was going on and no one apologized. When food came only one thing came out and it was wrong. Again, no apology nor offer any sort of remediation. Really surprised as have had a few good experiences here after teething problems when it first opened. Thought it was a bit pricey too for location but that may just be me

I've never left a review before but... This is my favourite breakfast place. I insist on going whenever I'm in the area and always treated with friendliness and respect. The food has always been incredible, pancakes are always perfect and fresh cakes and treats in the counter every day. This cafe never ceases to put a smile on my face and I could not recommend it enough.

Nice location but the food was bang average. Clearly had been cooked prior and left under a hot lamp as all the food was dry, shame as i had heard good things.

When it first opened this place was fab. Now…. The decor is nice. BUT….. The food has went downhill. The cooked breakfasts are always served TOO COLD! Even when I asked for the breakfast to be hotter it wasn’t. We went again today and had ham and cheese toasted with avocado smash ( the avocado smash was £3.00 each and were served in as really small pot. Not good value at all). The toasties were really dry. When opened there was no filling on the outsides if the sandwich. The wafer thin tasteless ham was terrible. Hardly any on it too. There wasn’t much cheese on it and we didn’t appreciate the processed slice of cheese on it. THE TOASTIES NEED MORE FILLING All bland and tasteless.

I’ve been to two mugs a few times now and it is honestly an amazing place to go for food and coffee. The staff are wonderful, the food is lovely and the coffee is great. You may want to reserve a table before you go so as it is usually very busy but the staff are always happy to help. Cannot wait for their new shop to open in the new year! Thank you all xx

As manager at our Sister shop I thought I’d check out how the food and drink measured up these days. I ordered avocado and poached eggs on toast with bacon. It was amazing, great portion size and it was cooked to perfection. The oat milk flat white was delicious and made with oatly. The highlight though was the unbelievably attractive lady who served me. She looked after all my needs and I can confirm the service is exceptional just as it always has been

Brilliant. Party of nine. Table nicely prepared and high chair in place. Our large order arrived amazingly fast, and was lovely. Plenty of friendly staff. Great value for money.

Met a friend for coffee here - this cafe has a great, friendly vibe with a good selection of drinks and cakes. It has easy parking outside and on the surrounding roads. I want to go back again to do the ceramic painting next time!

Just a great place for Drinks and Food. Breakfast,Lunch and snacks. NOT your boring usual Cafe. Check it out.

Great coffee but a disappointing soggy breakfast. Everything seemed slightly under done apart from the scrambled eggs which were dry and sad looking. The lasting taste was from the balsamic drizzle that was all over my breakfast and definitely not required. I was really excited to try the food here and the menu looked great but overall we agreed we probably wouldnt go back.

Very good breakfast/brunch place. Very friendly staff. Nice vibe and good parking slots close to the place. I liked the coffee and my two little ones also enjoyed their baby strawberry milkshakes. The Toasties were good and my salmon soft cheese bagel was OK. I recommend this place and we will definitely come back.
