Fantastic hour with my son and I which went far far too quickly. Highly recommended, good value for money as it’s a free play model and a great range of old classic and new arcades. Nice bunch of guys too, very welcoming and helpful!

As someone who was not at all good at arcade games as a child, I really enjoyed my time at this place because I was able to do relatively well playing some of the games. This was our first time attending and we were part of a large group. I enjoyed the motorbikes, the snowboarding as well as the basketball game upstairs. The member of staff who explained everything to our group was cheerful and enthusastic. People of various ages attended this place and everyone looked as if they were having a good time.

I really enjoyed it here. We've been wanting to come for a while, and it's a great concept. Keep track of Time though as it's easy to get carried away on a couple of your favs, then it's a mad dash to try some more at the end 🤣

Came today with my family- Pro: great value fun experience, plenty of selection of games, not too many people on a session so you get to go on most things, friendly staff :) Cons: electrocuted by the first thing I went on (the motorbike one by the front of the door), never felt anything like it, it made me scream. I told the staff and she put a sign on it- I hope they get it properly looked at before a kid touches it☠️

Wonderful variety of arcade games at one price! There were some old classics, that brought back nostalgia from my childhood in the 90s (from watching arcades depicted on TV, I rarely went to a real arcade)! There were also some weird but innovative games here, combining various mechanical movements and video game technology... the designers were a bunch of extremely creative people! The down side is there is always not enough time to play them all, time flies when one is having fun! :)

We had a great time here! Lots of games and a good variety too - Pinball; basketball; bowling; driving games etc. my little ones couldn’t reach the pedals on a couple of the car rides but there were others that didn’t have pedals so they could use those. The staff were super friendly and helpful! The hour went very quickly.

High Score Southhampton This place is amazing, and includes many arcade games. We went as a large booking, and 2 of us hit a 1st and 2nd high score on space raiders. See photo below. It is missing a few parts for 5 starts though such as it's location and they were missing the balls for bowling. 4/5 stars, great place High Score, would recommend!

Came here with my 8 & 6 year olds and they loved it. £9.99 each, so not exactly cheap, but I think represented quite good value, as all the machines are free play, which means the kids can go on as many of them as they like, as much as they like, within the hour. Not sure if they would have spent more than a tenner each in an hour at a regular arcade where you play per turn, but the advantage here is the variety, and also the kids could get further in the games, as you essentially have unlimited lives. The young staff were friendly too. Would bring the kids again sometime for a treat for sure.

Went here on a Sat night for an 8pm booking. We both LOVE arcades and can easily spend a lot of money. I think the price they charge is fair but would perhaps be better if it was 1.5 hours for £10 as the time does go quickly and you can feel a bit rushed. There isn't an option to stay on I don't think as they deep clean between each session. The staff were helpful and the venue was very clean and well maintained. Good mix of games to choose from, a lot of driving ones I noticed. But I loved the selection personally and enjoyed some classic games. Really pleased you had pinball machines! No food or drink available but you can take your own and thry have a table and chairs area. Definitely going back again! Hopefully they do some rotation of games? Good fun for families but also just adults who grew up loving arcades

Fantastic old arcade which offers a fee to play all the games free for an hour. Unfortunately on my visit, a present for father's day, quite a few of the driving games and shooting games weren't working. Some very old classic games here, hence the 4 stars.

Hosted a birthday party for our 7 year old at High Score today. The venue was great and everyone had a great time playing all the arcade games. Catering wasn't possible by High Score, but was ordered from Dominos 20 minutes before it was needed and it arrived freshly made and still hot which everyone enjoyed. Pip, our party host was excellent, and kept the party organised and kept and eye on everything. Thank you, we'll be back next year.

Great fun for kids and adults. Lots to choose from and play. Can be a bit loud so if you struggle with loud noises it can be useful to bring earphones with you. 1 hour flies by but I love that you don't lose any playtime by having to exchange money to get machines going. Just the entry fee and no hassle with any coins or standing in line to get money exchanged to play. Highly recommend for good old arcade fun

Amazing place for the kids to go around and play on the machines , you have more than enough time to go on everything even when it's busy . My kids went on everything about 2-3 times you don't have to queue or wait for any of the games as there is so many one is always free . That been said the nerf shooting machine is extremely popular have included a picture of it below . Highly recommended this place for kids ,there's no food or drinks offerd that I remember so would bring a drink and go for food after .

Just come back from my sons 7th birthday party and I have to say, we’ve had some brilliant parties in the past but this one topped it! The party room was super cool, the competition they do is amazing as they present the medals in the party room and they stand on the podiums! The confetti canon made for awesome photos!! Biggest reason though is Isaac. What a delight. He was amazing with the kids (more than 1 parent commented about how good Isaac was!) he involved my little girl, she loved him. He was just so smiley and polite and an all round legend. 1000% recommend to anyone (we ordered McDonald’s on the app, then collected from West Quay and it worked out brilliantly) THANK YOU Isaac

An absolutely amazing party for my 9 year old son today. Archie was our party host, and he was brilliant! We felt looked after the whole time and the kids had the best party ever. Brilliant podium moment too. The party room was so impressive - much more than I was expecting. Can't wait to come back again soon. My son has already asked if he can have his party here next year...!

We was recommended this place and drove from portsmouth to give it a try. Well worth it. Children loved it as well as the adults too. There was a dark haired girl working at the front desk who was super welcoming and helpful. Members of staff constantly cleaning the machines and clearly are proud to be working there. Very good business

We visited High Score Arcade Southampton this evening for my son’s 13th birthday party, and everyone had a great evening. A huge range of arcade games and brilliant to be able to play them for as long as you like, without having to keep feeding in coins. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We had Domino’s Pizza delivered to the party room for after our gaming time finished. Honestly the easiest party I’ve ever done. I’d definitely recommend it.

Love this place. My 6 year old constantly asks to go and has a great time each visit. An hour goes very quickly! Also very lovely/friendly staff.

AMAZING! Went today, 2 adults and 3 children. Absolutely amazing, the staff are very welcoming, caring and helpful. It wasn't too busy so nobody had to wait to use any of the arcade machines they wanted (regardless, there were PLENTY to pick from) We saved SO much money by paying one entry fee per person rather than £1-£2 per turn in an 'ordinary' arcade. The layout of the arcades was easy to navigate around and the entire establishment was lovely and clean. We will definitely be coming back! 😊

Really enjoyed a trip here for my daughter's birthday. A lot of the games aren't accessible for wheelchair users but I knew that would be the case going in. Lovely retro vibe. My fave was definitely Pong!

We had my daughter's 9th and 10th birthday parties there as it was so good. It's a perfect venue to let kids go wild on the games, they can play what they want. I was so impressed with our party leader, Harry, he organised everything, ran the tournament for the group and was a joy to have around. There's a good chance we'll be back for the 11th birthday!

Absolutely brilliant our 4th time going and we still love it. Took the sister and her lot with us this time they will be going back and I recommend it too everyone. The staff are amazing and so friendly and helpful. Your employee Pip is lovely and kept us talking while we were waiting for entry and even got us considering our wedding or most definitely our stag and hen do there. Couldn't ask for better staff!!! We'll be going back again soon, keep the game changing going☺️

We had a birthday party on Sunday aftenoon for my 8 years old, it was amazing. We felt very welcomed and our party host (sorry didn't catch his name) was step ahead of everything! Party room is very stylish. While they don't provide party food they still had a lighter and knife for a cake - 5* service. All kids were happy and enjoyed palying along each other.

What an amazing time! We love the arcade games and going to our local arcade next to a bowling alley gets a bit expensive. Putting £1 coins in very time you want a go. It all adds up. But at High Score. Pay £10(£9.50 I think) and get an hour of unlimited goes on a wide range if arcade games. Had so much fun with my hubby. Great new find for date night. You do have to prebook online but so easy to do. Staff & friendly & helpful. Two floors of fun and games. Highly recommend. For anyone who loves arcade games! Didn't take many photos. Was too busy having a great time.

The staff here are so lovely !!! The ladies at the counter were super nice to us. Great fun and relaxed vibe. This is such a fun day out - we saw people of all ages and different group dynamics come jn. I completely recommend this to anyone in the area. The concept is genius you just pay £10 for an hour and you can play anything you want - there is an upstairs and a downstairs so don’t forget to go up. I would recommend booking on their website beforehand to avoid disappointment.

Staff are hands off which is nice. They are loose with the one hour time limit which I appreciate. 1 hour isn't enough, 2 hours is quite expensive. So you have an odd bit where you want to play one more thing but can't. Aesthetically it's perfect. Unfortunately the street fighter cabinet did not have street fighter on it. Which was annoying. Reaaaaal lack of fighting games but plenty of other stuff

This place is amazing only downfall it isnt open all the time. Went with my 3 yeard old and theres games for all ages. Staff are on hand if you need help but its so free flowing and easy. The hour session flys by and makes you wanna turn round and do it again. Definitely a must family or friends the place is awesome!!

Overall good experience, lots of fun for most ages. Did have a couple of issues with the games, unresponsive stick on Mario Olympics for example. But I guess that's part of the arcade experience!

This is the perfect place if you want just go and play a mix of modern and old arcade games without the worry of spending a lot of money. Just £10 and you can play all you like for an hour, it was a lot of fun and I look forward to see this place grow and add even more arcade games. Staff was really friendly and nice and keep the place really clean and tidy.

We love this place, went recently unfortunately one of the Mario karts wasn't working so we couldn't play as a 4. But the new dark escape was an amazing addition! Absolutely loved it. I heard house of living dead might make an appearance which will be amazing. It's good to have different zones for different ages. An hour doesn't feel long enough. An extra 15 would be perfect! Looking forward to next visit
