Saw the fantastic show Crimes on Centre Court here on Saturday. Friendly staff, great cafe and wonderfully cool auditorium (during the heatwave!) with excellent view from seat and great acoustics. Comfy seats too. Our first visit but it won't be our last. Thank you.

We watched Room on the Broom. Very fun for the kids - they enjoyed the interactions, songs and comedic elements. Venue is easy to find; not far from multistorey car park. We were a little late so didn’t manage to try out the drinks or snacks!

Saw the new show from Rush Theatre Company. The King of Reggae, The Man - The Music. What a great night out. If you're a Bob Marley fan it's an absolute must. Fabulous live band & the lead singer has captured the essence of Bob with a voice to match. It's touring the uk now. Great venue, great show, great atmosphere.

Little hidden gem of a cafe in the cultural quarter of the city. I've been a few times during the day and it's always quiet. Friendly staff. Good snacks at good prices. And fabulous views of Guildhall Square.

Good venue, great sound. As any theatre the seats could have a little more leg room.

Very good sound, distance to the scene, temperature. Could have a little more space for legs....so don't wear a skirt or a dress when you on the balcony on any other than first row. Overall good experience, good actors and funny performance. Stars and LIFT to the balcony πŸ‘

Saw trainspotting live at the MAST and what an experience that was! The audience participation seats are not for the faint-hearted or easily offended. Interactive drama that's both hilarious and moving in equal measure.

Positives - Lovely venue, friendly staff, attract some really good artists. Negatives - Pricey bar, cashless venue. Too hot!!!! Was absolutely sweltering to the point that the comedian we went to see mentioned it in his act. Turn the heating down and it would be a much better experience.

We had a great experience at MAST watching the excellent Mind Mangler. The venue was perfect for an interactive show. Everyone in the audience was involved. The Mind Magler was a brilliant, clever, funny show. Another great production from Mischief Theatre. We sat in row F and had an excellent view. I am very short and could see everything.

The shows and provision for children of all ages (including babies) is exceptional. If there was an award to be given for inclusion, it should go to MAST. Quiet rooms available to feed baby, spotless toilets and changing facilities. It can be an anxious experience for parents taking young babies to events etc but what an absolute pleasure it was. Thank you.

We went to see Zog on a Tuesday after pre school with our nearly 4 year old. The place is well maintained and clean and you forget you're in the middle of the city! The staff are brilliantly friendly and the cafe was nice too. The show itself was amazing. Cast and staging was brill, our daughter absolutely loved it. The seats are comfy with lots of room and the studio we were in was big enough but not too big. Parking is interesting, we opted for west quay and took the 10 min walk which was fine! We now want to go for a date night there!

Our first visit, all very new making it a very pleasant venue to enjoy a performance. Seats were reasonably comfortable but the only down side was that when anyone moved on your row your seat moved as well. We were on the back row but people in the row in front were also commenting on the seat movement so it wasn't just one row. Did not spoil our enjoyment of the performance but with everything else so good it was a surprise that this type of seat was selected by the designers.

Really lovely theatre. So nice that Southampton has a theatre of this size in the city centre now, offering an alternative to the big Mayflower and enabling a more diverse range of shows to be seen. Theatre is state of the art and really well set up. Cafe/bar offers good options. Only downside is that it's up a few flights of stairs, although a lift is available, and there isn't really any nearby parking.

My daughter and I recently visited to watch the show Evita performed by The amateur group SOS. We thoroughly enjoyed the production and the cast were fabulous! Front of house staff were polite and welcoming. We went slightly earlier so we could have a drink in the bar. When we arrived in the bar there were very few patrons(this changed after we had been eventually served) There was a great selection to choose from and a few snacks available. The staff, however were very slow to serve being that we were the only two people at the bar. There were three staff members behind the bar. Two were talking amongst themselves and the other staff member eventually(after several minutes) served us. I was quite surprised by the lack of interaction from said staff. We almost felt like and inconvenience! The bar itself was spacious and well kept. After the performance we were rushed out of the studio and it felt like it was just that,Rushed. Aside from the non attentive bar staff we had a lovely evening and would definitely go again.

Absolutely brilliant! Went and saw Peter pan and the kids were amazing! 😊 Just amazed at how young they are and at there ages they can memorise the lines! Where they need to be on stage! And all the dance moves etc! At that age I was just kicking a football around the garden! 🀣 Well done!! Masks are needed throughout the show, there's refreshments and plenty of space to manoeuvre around! Disabled friendly staff are friendly and helpful to your seats! Great atmosphere and great time out! 5*😊😊

Saw Rich Hall on my first visit to MAST and what a lovely venue. It's a decent size with a large bar to whet your appetite during the interval.

Lovely venue. Two lifts and wide stairs to get to the performance floor. Large bar area with reasonably priced drinks. The auditorium is not too large, decent seats with good clear views.

Had a fantastic night at the Mask Theatre. Pre Show Drinks outside in the sunshine in the Masks seating area. Lifts & stairs up to The bar area bright large and airy. Friendly bar staff. The Burlesque show was fab & our seats about 8 rows back were perfect. Will definitely book here again. 😍

We attended Peter Pan Youth Theatre with Southampton Young Carers and the show was amazing, seen as the whole cast was kids! Lovely staff who go out of their way to help you. The only reason I haven't given full stars was the leg room. If you taller then 5"9 then you will be squeezed in. The man behind us was moving his feet to the music and because he was tall his legs were touching the back of our seats. It was like he was kicking the seats backs constantly. I nearly lost my rag! Not sure it's as good as the Old Nuffield Theatre and all our tax payers money spent on it was worth it either. Dont see we gained anything more!

Great show for us grandparents and 3 grandchildren, very comfortable smallish theatre, sensible pricing for both the show and bar. You never go wrong with a David Walliams inspired show which has something for all ages.

We had a cappuccino and a tea at the cafe. It's quite warm and nice environment, modern rustic decor, with some low key music and nice views. I'd definitely be visiting more often and even early evening for an alcoholic drink.

Nice venue, easy access, friendly staff, good variety of shows. Located within walking distance of some small cafes/coffee shops although you can purchase drinks and snacks at the venue too. Close to parking.

Great theatre, well designed, wonderful productions, comfortable seating, wheelchair accessible, helpful friendly staff. Cafe/bar provides good coffees and a selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. The food choice is very limited. All areas are clean and inviting.

Great show, went to see Fantastically Great Women Who Changed The World. And myself, my 9 Yr old daughter and dad, all enjoyed it immensely. The theatre was clean, well run, friendly staff and good measures in places.
