This surgery provides a very poor service. They never answer their phones and it is impossible to make an appointment. The walk in service at Southampton hospital provides a better service and is sometimes (not always) available. North baddesley surgery needs to replaced with GPs who can actually see their patients face to face. Update Dec 2022; message now from surgery now states it is almost impossible to even see them if waiting at reception. All this and doctors are want to shorten their working hours to 9-5. Unbelievable. If they didn’t have a monopoly into the NHS they would be redundant.

Absolutely useless. Constantly being given the run around through their own mistakes and never even a simple apology as they simply don’t care. Had an ill one year old which I was then given the completely wrong prescription AND dosage for. Luckily only through the pharmacist noticing TWICE on two separate trips that it was changed. Completely incompetent. Oh and don’t bother trying to call them to sort as they don’t like answering the phone.

Unbelievably shoddy service which we are paying for with our taxes. My NHS app says I should have had a letter regarding a serious appointment, - NO. I should have been contacted as a priority - NO, The App says contact your surgery so I'm now 35 minutes in to the awful monotonous music and message. GP's got a substantial increase in salary some 7-8 years ago to a mimmim of £100k with less hours and since then the service has deteriorated year on year. If I continued to fail at this level in my business I'd be sacked!

Incredibly poor. It used to be a great surgery but I wouldn’t recommend it any more. It is nigh on impossible to get through to the surgery so they fail at the first and most basic hurdle. They also seem to have stopped booking appointments in any useful way, you can only book appointments on the day which, considering it’s impossible to get through to reception, is a waste of everyone’s time. I’d recommend they reevaluate the fundamentals of the service they provide.

This Surgary is shocking!!!!! I’ve never known anything like it there is NO EXCUSE in the world that could justify how bad this Surgary is!!! Not only are the phones awful and you can’t get through and when you do they just stick you on hold and then hang up! the doctors aren’t good at all “forgetting” to refer a child to a specialist! They aren’t interested is being doctors or helping people at all!!!

I have now given up hope of getting any viable health care. I just wish to update this review as of Jan 2023. The marked improvement in service is to be commended, the openess to patient feedback is excellent and the upward path is very much welcomed

Awful surgery. Can’t get through on the phones, waited over 2 hours on hold! Booked an online appointment which was then over 40 minutes late with no apology. Found the GP to be inadequate, didn’t address concerns or even perform any examination. Will be changing surgeries after this experience today.

The worst surgery that I have ever came across not because of doctors or nurses but because of support services mainly phone booking services. You have to be on the phone for hours only to get cut off. Terrible. Please choose other gp surgeries if you have a choice.

Wouldn't even give 1 star. Come in this morning as no1 answers the phones, she told me no appointments I said to her the 111 line have made me a appointment she didn't want to know got rid of me quick as anything then I get a phone call saying I did have a appointment in the morning and I missed it because she didn't tell me! I've now moved surveys and advise everyone else to do the same

1 hrs wait to see urgent care practitioner, I’m sorry this isn’t acceptable, really need to improve, employ more GP’s and maybe pay the receptionist more money so they’re not taking the brunt of the diabolical service! I work as a patient navigator myself in another surgery, I just wish I could register with them ! More nurses needed as again I’ve got to travel to Lymington hospital for a procedure that should be available in the surgery as at my work the nurses do them ! I wouldn’t recommend North Baddesley surgery at all ! Rant over ! Yep still waiting

Been with previous practice 22yrs - extremely happy. All anxieties disappeared first call to surgery. Prompt, polite extremely helpful & friendly. Having said I do hope that is how they found us. Certainly not the easiest job. Tha ks, NB surgery - a very grateful & satisfied new patient & husband.

When I have needed this surgery they have been great! Even with the issues facing the NHS as a whole when I've been in need they have been there. This week I did an e-consult with the advise to phone for an appointment, rang first thing this morning, waited only 4 minutes to get through and had an appointment for this morning. The nurse I saw was lovely, listened to my concerns gave me advise to help with an ongoing condition and sorted me with a prescription. Couldn't fault anyone in the times I've needed their help. Thanks!

Really appreciate the same day policy for booking appointments- I have managed to get an appointment no problem twice over the past two months which is amazing peace of mind. I also saw Dr. Niha who was absolutely lovely and immediately referred me for a concerning possible melanoma.

Awful reception staff. I can't physically walk to the surgery to request my repeat prescription. I've tried so many times to email. It just keeps bouncing back . The receptionist wouldn't email me so i could emaio back ,or make an exception. Yet a different receptionist did. As a wheelchair user. I'm disgusting by the system !
