As History says this Church was a demolished Hindu Temple way back in the Chandrapur Dynasty...... Originally built in 17th Century and known as Our Lady of Remedies then later changed to Our Lady of Bethlehem or Nossa Senhora de Belem..... I was lucky enough to attend the Sunday Mass today via their Youtube Channel "Chandor Church"...... Which was celebrated by Father Gerald Dcosta..... It was a beautiful mass celebrated with a deep gospel..... The church too is located in one of the most peaceful neighborhood and close to the market place.....

As with a lot of churches in Goa, this one too was built upon a demolished Hindu temple called Saptamatrika Temple or Seven Mothers Temple. When built originally in the 17th century, it was called Our Lady of Remedies. One of the oldest city of goa.

The best feast of 3 Kings in Goa takes place at this Church on every 6th of January every year. Love the stalls with great Goan music along with tasty Goan snack's, beer, drinks and yes Housey to play. Love it every year.
