This place has the best veg food in the locality. Started in 1986 it holds a legacy. The food here is fantastic. Service here is quick. Their menu consists of south indian foods like dosa and vada. North Indian dishes, special thali,icecream. Definitely try the goli baji and benne dosa. For drinks do try filter coffee or malt. For lunch trying their special meal is the must.

A spacious place on the main road itself. One of the known and most visited places for vegetarian food. Dosa, goli baji (good), bread masala (should be tried), pav Baji …. These are some of the items that you get there. Coffee - was not up to mark. Lime tea was good. This could be one place if you are searching for any decent places to have your meal.

There all variety of food available and the price won't even empty your pockets. You'll be able to see a very disciplined and friendly environment here. The waiter coordinate very well with their customers and won't keep you wait for too long. Well I had one complaint that the goli bhajiya I had ordered wasn't fresh and it was really soft which didn't reach my expectations 10 on 10 but everything else I ordered was up to the mark so I minus one start from the rating for that. I hope I won't experience the same thing next time I visit there.

Worst ever Golibaje or Mangalore bonda and Masala dosa had. Good old goodwill is only on name plate not in platter.

There needs to be major improvement in both service and cleanliness. We had some negative encounters with this hotel, including cleaning of the tables, suppliers' sense of hygiene, arrogance of the cashier sweeping the floor while clients are eating, etc.

Lot of improvement in service & cleanliness is required. Cleaning of the tables, suppliers' sense of cleanliness, arrogancy of the lady sitting in cash counter (she scolded me for payment through paytm two times on account of system slowness), brooming the floor while customers are having the food, etc., are some of the bad experiences we had with this Hotel.

One of the good good hotel in mudabidri city. You get all food variety of Mangalore. Food served hot here. Very polite and experienced staff.

When you look for a good quality food at Moodbidri Padiwals is the best restaurant which I would recommend.The cleanliness and the hospitality of the bearers who attend to the customers is laudable which the Hotel authorities should be really proud about. We had veg pulav which was served hot with raitha which was really awesome.We were just peeping out through our car window and were looking for a vegetarian outlet and this hotel near Moodbidri Sri Hanuman temple with ample car parking space was a surprise.Price is affordable too. As we didn't have much time to explore other items listed in the menu card due to time constraint we couldn't comment much .But I'm quite sure with the Quality of Pulav we had we are quite confident that other items would definitely satisfy the taste buds of foodies.Go for it when you're at Moodbidri and it's surrounding.

We went today for lunch. Food was just awesome! We had Gobi Manchury and Mushrooms fried rice. First time in my life I had so tasty food, at a very reasonable price... Hats off to the management and the chefs' team...

Hotel padiwals restaurant is popular for breakfast from 40years.visitors and tourist make a destination breakfast when they plan a visit to Jain Kashi as this Jain's pure Jain styles food hotel. Started by the ex head master of late C K Padiwal of Babu Rajendra Prasad High school of Moodbidri. Mr padiwal invested all his retirement benefits after his retirement as teacher of High school. His son in law kept it live by making steal boiler in kitchen and still you can see that ,though He expired now. Now padiwals daughter managing the lodging and boarding with restaurant. Near Hanuman temple Moodbidri. The special is beaten Rice with a filter coffee, or beaten rice with solid curds,beaten rice with kadle or upma and all south Indian cousin found with padiwals taste. The butter nan or dry rotti with kaju Masala may mouth watering for many days after eating. All north Indian variety found from 12 to 3.30 and after 6 p m. Jain special mixture of peanut, coconut fried pieces, cashews, chana,kari pattha,lasoon ,semey of padiwals only. Jain sweet of pure ghee available with other Baker supply item's. One visit may memorable.

Visited this place for Saturday's breakfast. Tried Palav and Mysore masala dosa. Palav was tasty, kind of liked it. Mysore masal dosa was bit on the sweeter side even though red chetney was put inside it. Overall service and atmosphere was good. Really liked the special sweet Katmandige which is available here. Recommend the same !

Not that tasty it feels but its better one in the location. Ambience is poor sometimes. New padiwals is really good.

North Indian food was not that good. Gobi vegetable wasn't tasty, dal was not as good as in delhi, no raita, tandoori was like rubber, wasn't hot also. Not bad, not good either.

Old restaurant with good food. Found very nice paneer chilli and ghee parathas are also must have. Sometimes they give cold snacks like buns but overall it's a good place and I recommend it.

Worst restaurant by now, for breakfast. Everything was cold, the idly Vada, the buns. Also the service is not upto mark, we waited for the bill for too long, later decided to go pay near the counter ourselves. Atmosphere is ok.

This used to be our go to choice since childhood. But things have changed for the worst, now. The food is awful. Masala dosa tastes too sweet, and the dahi vadas are hard and small in size. The only thing that still remains good is the tea.

Food is very tasty with a budget friendly prices, the staff here are veterans and they are very humble and sweet. Food order turn around time is minimal as well. Heard this is one of the good place for vegetarian food in town... I ordered gobi manchurian, mughlai biryani and veg biryani.. Taste was not upto my expectations but ya it was okay.. AC and non AC table rooms available.. Washroom is behind the hotel, that's outside and its locked, One has to ask the receptionist for the washroom keys and use it.. Washroom was clean.. Ample parking space available..

Crowded sometimes...Visited with high expectations because few years back, I visited here and took nice poori bhaji... but when I visited recently and tried dosa, the taste turned out to be average.
