I loved the way they drew the doll on my coffee πŸ˜…πŸ˜…. The taste of the coffee is definitely 5/5. It was a nice cozy place to chill and chit chat with friends. The outdoor sitting arrangement is nice. Ambience is amazing. The pasta looked very tempting on other's table so we ordered one. Eben the salad was made with fresh veggies and tasted good. I have been to this place whenever I visit Bangalore.

Cool Cafe, with decent Coffee / Tea choices with elevated aesthetic interiors. This is my go to cafe It's reasonably priced for the quality of their brews and beverages. The crowd was manageable. Service was better than expectations. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pricing is fair and reasonable.

I've been to Matteo's a couple of times now and it is now time to review. Well, this is definitely one of the coffee shops that I love spending time at. I've primarily been going there for the Shekeratos..ranging from Coconut, Caramel to Hazelnut which are great and a must try. Peach iced tea is decent. I recently did try the hot cocoa which was really creamy and loved it. Another item was the non veg club sandwich with fries. This was really filling and the sandwich had a good mixture of layers. Considering the price point, options for food and quality this is definitely a place I recommend if you wish to have some good coffee or beverages. In addition the food is good and the portions are great as well. Good ambience with outdoor and indoor seating. I definitely recommend this place if you are in and around Church street.

This place is a vibe. Been here a couple of times. The drinks and snacks are really good. But it’s a place where you can just hangout with a good cup of coffee or hot chocolate, listen to some good old music and relax. My fav time to visit is after 8pm as it won’t be too crowded. I honestly don’t come here for the food as I love the vibe of this place more.

Brigade Road and its surroundings don't offer many spacious cafes. However, this particular place is quite spacious, and you usually won't have trouble finding a seat. It's not the best spot to work though, as the seating setup isn't work-friendly and it can get quite noisy due to its close proximity to other activities. The food and drinks are decent, but not exceptional. Of course, I haven't tried everything on the menu, so it wouldn't be fair to make a general judgment.

Used to be a great place for coffee and light snacks. Off late there are some inconsistencies in service and quality. The staff needs to be better trained, some of them are downright rude. On my last visit I ordered iced tea and my glass was not cleaned properly on reporting this to the server he started justifying that it’s just cream on the glass and expected that I should be fine with the fact that the glass was not cleaned properly after the last drink. Spoke to the manager and he was helpful however they should take this as constructive feedback and try to improve their service

Fantastic cafe in the middle of the city. The whole area is really good. They boast about their coffee being great but the food menu is really great. The ambience is good. You have options to sit indoors or outdoors. Both provide a different environment. The food and coffee options are plenty. The taste is good. This may be on a little pocket heavy side but its worth it. Good place for meetups or just casually finishing up a book over coffee.

Awesome (even if the portion control can get…weird) Church street is booming, and there are a couple of good coffee spots around. This one is somewhat large, and has plenty of room to sit back and work (or enjoy your coffee, or chat, or whatever) Staff friendly, prices par for the course, and quite good apple pie(if that’s your thing) Mind you, I asked for a double espresso, and got what was basically 7-8 shots of espresso in a cappuccino cup. The single espresso was portioned fine though - so….watch out πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Excellent place with good vibes. Better to go on festive seasons. Street music and rapping is one of the best. Parking space is not available for bikes and scooty. Nice place to visit for 2 to 3 hours. Good place to take pictures and chill out. Shops are a bit costly. Better to go on cars because of parking issues. Coffee is best here with excellent flavour.

Great ambiance. A good place for coffee lovers. There are a variety of coffee options. We tried their hazelnut and caramel cold coffee, which were perfect (not too sweet and not too bitter). Also their peach green tea was great. A perfect spot for coffe lovers.

Matteo, one of the oldest cafe's I can recall on Church Street, nothing much has changed over the years about this place.. the food(quantity and quality)has been consistent.. the quality in service has dropped quite a bit - but otherwise, it's a nice place to hangout- spend hours together chatting away- while having delicious food. Budget friendly and clean. Must Try: 1) Tuna Sandwich 2) Apple Pie

Good food at a great price. Matteo coffea offers the value that most coffee & cafe chains miss out on. Satiating food that fills your tummy but doesn't empty your wallet. It has a very good ambiance with their oversized red chairs becoming somewhat of a novelty. The service was quick even though the cafe was crowded. The music was a bit too loud though and you have to raise your voice to have a normal conversation.

Had a nice lunch at this well located cafe'. It's a rather large restaurant with plenty of indoor seating and covered outdoor street side seating. Service was polite and brisk and the food tasty. we had iced coffee latte, penne in cream sauce, penne bolognese and spicy lamb burger. The Coffee and the penne dishes were particularly nice. The lamb burger was too smothered in mayonnaise to get the flavour of the lamb patty.

The coffee here have rich taste but the food can use some improvement. The shakes here are of good proportions for the costs. It always quite crowded during the weekends so be prepared to wait for your order to arrive. On a side note the washroom here is quite ill maintained.

Nice cafe with good vibes and yummy food to munch on. Perfect for a casual brunch or if you are craving something sweet. Quantity served per dish is enough for two people... Parking is a problem as it's located in a side lane of Churchsteet

Matteo Cafe is a decent place that boasts a prime location just steps away from the metro station. Their coffee is a delightful surprise; it's rich and flavorful. One unique aspect is that you have to explicitly request no sugar if you prefer your coffee unsweetened, as it's typically served sweet. The french fries we ordered were enjoyable, and the pricing is reasonable, with an average cost of around 500-600 rupees for two people. A unique coffee experience for those looking for a change of pace.

The place is right at the heart of Church Steet of Bangalore. It is a vibrant cafe, option to sit outside and inside available. The parking is an issue as there is no parking in Church Street. The prices are decent and the service is also nice. The food quality was decent. If you want to chill in MG road or Church Street, definitely recommend.

Had been coming here for more than 5 years and I am telling you it’s the best bites place at the church street area for such a reasonable price, I was even shocked with the ambience as it look like one of the cafe at Paris…the food is amazing 🀩 and I never went home without finishing everything, my personal fav are the eggs menu and the sandwiches which are so freshly made with a little bit of ice tea or any other drinks they have at the menu….love the little decorations of the wall that is like a painting, it’s pleasing to the eye…the staff are great and it’s good to see that it’s back in business…thank you Islam for taking care of us

The ambience, the food and taste is good. But had to wait long to get the food. Coffees and drinks are available in two portions - tall and Grande. It's just near to Starbucks. Compared to Starbucks, the price is affordable. It's indeed a nice place to have a hot Coco with the view of the Church street.

Matteo has stood the test of time in spite of very strong competition from new cafe chains! They continue to serve excellent quality food and of course coffee! Note: We ordered pasta and the quantity was quite a bit and two of us just managed to finish. So may be order one thing at a time and keep adding instead of one plate per head, just might get too much.

It's a place to visit if you're passing by or even if you live near Koramangala. They have variety of cuisines and the elephant in the room of course, the vibe/the light setting, it's really something. You may not be able to afford it everyday but, evenings on weekends could be enjoyable to go there. Not very crowded surprisingly. Best suited for company get together or partying. I deducted 1 star because of the pricing of the service.

The place feels like our old home, aesthetic and old Bangaloreon vibes, much like the original coffee houses. The place has indoor and outdoor seating, wheelchair access and clean bathrooms. The seating is extremely cozy with the ambiance being perfect for nearly every event. The food is very meticulously made and the place is known for its beverages-desserts. While the food is expensive the quantity is reasonable with the prices. The staff are friendly, they have UPI and Cash payments. They also have takeaway now but no delivery service.

I have been to church street many times but didn't get the chance to visit Matteo Coffea and finally today we got a chance to visit the place and it was an awesome experience with food and their coffee. If you want to hangout with friends peacefully then this is the place. I tried Hot Cocoa(4/5) and Chicken Penne & cream sauce(5/5). I loved their pasta and the ambiance was pleasant and night lighting added a glory to the place. They have both indoor and outdoor seating as well. I visited around 5 and the crowd was gradually increasing and it would be a good place to chill out alone as well

This is my absolute top favorite cafΓ© in entire Bangalore! I simply love love the Croissant and Coffee thereβ™₯️ Also, most of the times you'll find me here😍 Highly recommended: White chocolate mocha, plain butter Croissant and Chicken grilled Caesar salad. Located at the heart of Church street and no visit to Church street is ever complete without visiting matteo coffee for me... highly recommended.

I really loved this place, stopping by every afternoon to take a break! I always order some ice tea (served with a syrup, to let yourself deal with its sweetness 😍) and a piece of cake (layered with cream). Waiters are very nice and the prices there are really good for the area. From the covered terrace, you can see the busy road and enjoy a good book (bookstore is just next door 🀭). Also tested their egg sandwiches, and I was surprised by how good and well-stocked it was 😳. Sometimes, you'll have to wait a little to have someone taking your order (very busy near 3pm but okay near 2pm).

Had been here with friends. You get a decent variety of vegetarian and non vegetarian options of burger, sandwiches and salads. Good variety of hot coffee and cold coffee are available. Add ons like flavoured syrups, whipped cream are available. Since it’s in the centre location you have good access. Some of seating tables are not that comfortable. Friendly staff and quick service. Good ambiance as well. You have outdoor limited seating. Overall good experience.

Great location right off brigade road, but somewhat let down by a staff is downright RUDE. Matteo cafe has a fairly extensive menu, but nothing truly unique or special. So I truly fail to understand the cocky, arrogant attitude of the staff here, the only thing this cafe has going for it is the location, if they do not sort out their attitude they will be shutting down soon like every to her place on church Street and brigade road. Which is rather sad considering that they have a brilliant location and a well designed interior .

Great place to hangout with buddies and have personal meetings. Good choice of coffee and dining options. It's a cafe with food style from Italy n Mexican. Staff are friendly, they serve quickly and also atmosphere is good too. Freshly grounded coffee is used for coffee. The ice tea pasta n milkshakes are also gud. More than food the vibe is awesome.

This is probably one of the most crowded & the biggest cafes in CBD Bengaluru. This place got its own vibe in the outdoor section even though it's very noisy. Coming to the food, we ordered cinnamon roll & shrimp white sauce pasta. The cinnamon roll was good even though it was a little dry. The shrimp pasta was also good & is worth the price for the portion it's offered. The mocha shekerato is something most of us would enjoy. On the other hand the hot cocoa was pretty average.

If you're in the mood for a good shake, this cafe might just hit the spot. However, while the shakes are a standout, the food could use a little more attention to detail. That being said, the ambiance is lovely with a great aesthetic that sets a good mood for any brunch special. Overall, this cafe is worth checking out for its great shakes and atmosphere, but if you're looking for top-notch food, you may want to look elsewhere.

Great place to have the best bites in the Church Street area at a reasonable price. The ambience looks like that of a European cafe. The food is amazing. The sandwich bread is so freshly made. Iced tea was also good, and the best part was that there was no added sugar they gave honey separately. Seating arrangements are managed very well. The staff and service are great.

Wonderful experience dining here. The place is well maintained and extra care is taken for safety in current situation. Once a customer has completed his/her food/drinks, an employee will come and sanitize the chairs and table with a sprayer, then only another customer can use it. There os no printed out menu, it's easily accessible through scanning a QR code. Even the food, sides, drinks, even chilli flakes, oregano etc. along with spoon and forks are disposable type. One best place to dine in at the current situation. The food quality is also at the best like it's always been. Highly recommended!
