Pizza looked and tasted days old, most ingredients were bland, pizza dough texture taste and cook was more like a saltine cracker than pizza dough. 2 regular size slices and a fountain drink was $17 what a rip-off. Will not return.

Visiting from the SF Bay area and stopped at Luigi's for a quick bite after visiting the sluggers museum: LOVE IT. Great vibe, great owner, better food. Don't hesitate on this treat.

Tables were dirty. I had to ask repeatedly for a rag to wipe down the tables. The man at the counter told one of our party that he was not going to make anymore pepperoni pizza (@1:50pm). Others with us all commented that he was rude at the counter. The pizza was ok but not worth it.

Calzone was small and not much filling. More spinach than cheese. Supreme pizza had very little cheese and meats. All you tasted was peppers amd onions!

Well nice place and the smell drove me in but wasn’t terribly impressed. They only want to sell a handful of items that are sitting under a heat lamp so fresh is out of the question, which is the best way to eat almost anything baked especially pizza or calzones. I wanted a Stromboli but it had mushrooms and asked for one without and was told what was already cooked is what they have. She suggested another item that didn’t have mushrooms which was nice but wasn’t what I wanted. Then they reheat it in the microwave because even they know it’s not hot enough. But what they fail to care about is it turns bread to rubber. Wasn’t very pleasant to eat even if it tasted like it had potential. An average rating is generous in my opinion. Enjoy!

Everything was great! The owner is super nice and was very welcoming and gave my kids Halloween treats. I loved the pizza and ended up getting a second slice. Would def come again.

Yerrrrrr! I’ve been in the city for a few months and I’ve been on quest for a good pizza spot for a good min a lot misses don’t let them tell you bearnos is the one. That’s not it B. Word on the streets, is that Luigi’s is probably these best pizza hands down in the ville. Met the owner, mad cool from BK, copped pepperoni slices and a fountain drink. If you not used to this environment that’s ok but don’t get offended yuh heaarrddd! Pizza wise it’s close but it will do for right now. Will have to visit a few more times to fully give you a definitive answer. Peace to the staff BELIVE THE H Y P E ☝️

The food here is positively fabulous! They make all of their pastas and sauces in house. I had the potato gnocchi with sausage ragu. The pasta is soft and pleasant on the palate, with the ragu providing a spicy, delicious complement to the pasta. So good and so filling! Friendly staff too.

It has been several years since I’ve been here and the decline in the quality of their pizza is obvious. Although there is a freshness to the crust, it is way too bread-like for NY style. One cannot screw up a slice of cheese, right? Well, they did. Not enough sauce or cheese. Also, it was after 2pm, not busy and we couldn’t find a clean table. This was my last visit.

This little gem snuck up on me. You can smell it before I even see it. I haven't had authentic Italian pizza since Joey's House closed in Nashville to catering only.

Antipasto salad was good. The cheese pizza slice and a pepperoni pizza slice was awful. It was extremely dry. Hardly any sauce and almost no cheese, and it didn’t even taste good. We were in a hurry and the whole pizza looked just like our slices. They weren’t super friendly, or welcoming. I had to look around for a menu to see what they had. Such a disappointment!

I recently visited Luigi's Pizzeria with my family, and it was a delightful experience. The location couldn't be more convenient, right across from the science museum. The pizza was delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors and a crispy crust. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely be returning for more tasty pizza at Luigi's! Luigi's Pizzeria went above and beyond to accommodate our request for a chicken pizza, even though it wasn't on their regular menu. The fact that they were willing to customize our order speaks to their commitment to customer satisfaction. The chicken pizza turned out to be a scrumptious addition to our meal, and we greatly appreciated their flexibility.

Really authentic Italian pizza place. Love the people working there and I think the pizza is some of the best in town. Creative chefs make up some cool styles like arugula and tomato and sausage artichoke. I love it so much.

The pizza is great! U make ur choice and then they put it in the oven it's just fantastic! It can be a bit crowded where u order and ofc hot too but there's plenty of seating towards the door to cool off! Their desserts look so delicious 😋 me and my coworkers are excited to go back! The Stromboli was apparently very tasty as well!

THIS WAS TERRIBLE. We stopped in for some lunch after going to the Louisville Slugger museum. Located right on main street. Easy to get to. We were greeted by an older gentleman. Once we decided on a Stromboli and a calzone it went downhill. The guy behind the counter took a cooked Stromboli and placed it in to the microwave. Then he heated the calzone the same way. Placed some marinara that was sitting warming bin, into some small cups. The food tasted just like it was microwaved. Bread was chewy. Wife said the Stromboli was bland. My calzone filling tasted ok. All this and 2 fountain drinks cost almost 30 dollars. Save your money and get a sub from across the street.

For a slice with a few toppings and a twelve oz bottle of soda it was $10. Very mediocre. The pizza went from display to me in a minute and I can see why it was quick.. it was rather soggy. The other food might be good but as a pizzeria I'm going to have to give it a below average rating.

Way overpriced and not good really . I mean $12 basically for 2 slices and a soda. Pizza is reheated so comes out too crunch and sometimes burnt. I am spoiled with pizza growing up around pizza places in NJ and NY it takes a lot to make me impressed. I guess its better than the chains so that has it going for it. If this place was in the northeast it wouldnt make it.

the italian aroma definitely reels you in, the food was tasty. Luigi's is a little pricey... a slice is $6... the young lady was very helpful with the service. the cook wasn't as helpful stating they didn't have balsamic vinegar and only had the house oil and vinegar dressing after my friend was served the same balsamic I had requested.. overall my 1st experience was cool just in town for bussiness.

When you're wandering up and down whiskey row, do yourself a favor and stop in here to put something in your stomach to soak up all that whiskey. Don't be surprised if you hear the folks that run the establishment conversing in Italian. I got the impression that English was definitely their second language and the food reflected that. Be sure to check the dessert options.... You'll be glad you did.

I stopped in to grab lunch to go. It was great. The line was a little slow since it was busy, but definitely worth the wait. I’d recommend for sure.

Good tasting pizza but hours are not as advertised. Yelled at us to leave as they claimed they close at 4pm (it was 4:15) but both on the menu and door it says 5pm. How were we suppose to know any different. Also stopped offering anything other than pizza at 3pm.

Pretty solid pizza joint. We had a couple cheese calzones and a stromboli. The food was quick and excellent, they all came with a dipping sauce which was sweet. Large dinning area with plenty of seating. Only downfalls we see are limited weekend menu and your food is already prepared ready for reheat.

Absolutely the best Italian restaurant in louisville. This place is a must for anyone that loves Italian. Not fast food at all everything is made from scratch and the service here is truly amazing.

We didn't eat. We called at 3:30pm took our pick up order. The man that ansrd said they were closing in 10 minutes. . The website said 4pm.He relented and took our order. Before hanging my husband asked me what I wanted to drink. I told him to wait until we got there so the ice wouldn't mlt. Once there my husband went back to grab the credit cars and I approached the counter. A man with an accent asked " How can I help.you ma'am. I told him we were there to pick up an order. He repetd our order. I confirmed and said " Can we add tea. It was 15 min until close. He said rudely "we are closed." I said again website says you are open until 4pm. He said again we are closed. I said "Sir I didn't ask you if you were closed. I if you could add a tea. He then rudely said again we are out of tea. Which was fine. He was from the beginning trying to close early. I said I cancel the order and walked out. He didn't want business. He said he was the owner but I really don't believe him
