The
hotel
for
sure
is
stunning
and
nestled
along
a
beautiful
beach.
Most
staff
were
very
friendly
and
tried
their
best
to
make
things
right.
Also,
food
options
and
each
meal
were
delicious.
However,
the
amount
of
issues
we
encountered
in
this
luxury
resort
during
our
five
night
stay
ruined
our
“babymoon”
and
we
would
not
come
back
or
could
not
recommend
it
to
others
until
those
service/maintenance
shortcomings
are
resolved.
We
had
to
switch
rooms
twice.
First
room
had
pluming
issues
and
we
were
moved.
In
second
room
we
were
dripped-on
in
bed
by
condensation
water
of
the
AC
outlet
all
night
(and
water
dripped
on
marble
floor
making
it
a
trip
hazard
for
pregnant
wife
at
night).
Third
room
had
pluming
issues
(but
not
severe
enough
to
have
to
move
again).
In
addition,
the
hotel
room
lock
stopped
working
halfway
during
stay
(needing
to
go
to
guest
services
to
get
back
into
room),
housekeeping
came
in
without
knocking,
wife
was
sold
a
face
cream
at
the
hotel
spa
that
expired
a
while
back
and
had
a
weird
consistency
(as
all
they
had
were
expired,
they
let
us
return
it
–
thankfully
noticed
it
still
during
stay
and
not
at
home).
On
top
of
all
that,
my
pregnant
wife
received
a
goodbye
present
and
fell
ill
with
Covid-19
when
we
got
back
(could
have
also
gotten
it
traveling
home,
she
was
wearing
a
mask
on
plane
though).
Even
the
e-mail
I
sent
to
the
general
manager
Paulo
Paias
with
feedback
of
our
stay
was
ignored.
I
would
have
not
expected
that
many
issues
at
a
hotel
in
that
price
range.
We
did
get
a
small
hotel
statement
credit
because
of
having
to
move
rooms
and
an
apple
cider
bottle
but
that
did
not
make
us
feel
much
better
and
we
were
even
looking
into
earlier
return
flights
for
the
first
time
at
any
vacation.
Overall,
hotel
has
huge
potential,
we
unfortunately
did
not
experience
it.
