Did the observer package on Saturday and loved it. I've done many different dolphin encounters over the years and found this one special and unique. As an observer, you get a lot of time where you get very clear views of dolphins swimming and playing directly before the boat, as well as approaching from distances of 30m or so. The location, duration, and wild species all really recommend themselves. We had extended time with mothers and calves playing near the bow and a large pod in the surrounding waves dipping in and out. Even if you don't swim, this is good value and worth your time (just make sure you get a good seat on deck). Staff were also really friendly and I could see that there was a lot of care towards the swimmers and determination to give them a worthwhile experience.

We were "just" observers and had an awesome time. Even from the boat we had a great dolphin experience. Staff were great also. Bring warm clothes as it gets chilly and a waterproof layer for spray/rain!

Sounds super interesting. I tried it twice. One week apart. Coming all the way from Bahrain, I was extremely excited for the experience. For, to my disappointment both times in April 2023, couldn’t swim with them. We definitely saw dolphins. But the guys were nice. Also I got half refund.

This was the most amazing experience! The staff were incredible, they offered a full breakfast and momoas post swim. Being in the water with wild dolphins was so special they found a huge pod of dolphins with baby dolphins. We swam so close to the dolphins we could almost touch them! I highly highly recommend this experience!

The crew at Dolphin Swim were fantastic. They were fun and informative. The swim was unbelievable and the dolphins were so close. Adam and the staff made sure that everyone on the boat was having a good time and that they were well looked after. Can’t thank them enough for such an amazing day.

What an absolutely amazing day! We flew up from Melbourne and were definitely not disappointed. Everything from the greeting of the energetic, friendly staff to the boat trip and then the swim. We were lucky enough to find several pods of dolphins, over 100 in total. Felt totally safe and in fantastic hands every step of the way. Can’t thank Adam and his team for memories my wife and I will never forget.

Absolutely incredible experience run by an amazing team. They are all so passionate about and caring towards both the dolphins and their excursion participants. I had been waiting to do this for over a year after following them on Instagram and the swim exceeded expectations. Whether you are actually doing the swim or just on the boat to watch, it is a worthwhile experience. If you’re on the fence — don’t be! Just book it.

Absolutely the best experience ever! Highly highly recommend this. Adam and his team go above and beyond to ensure the dolphin swim is safe, memorable and exciting. We had 3 generations do this dolphin swim and it will be a memory we will treasure always. I am bringing the rest of the family for sure to experience this wonderful eco tour. It’s great to be able to interact with wild dolphins and know that they are not being forced or trained they just want to come up to you and play.

A once in a lifetime, exhilarating, truly awesome experience. The whole team make you feel welcome, and every one of them are super helpful. The whole process is streamlined and highly organised. Every single person is highly skilled, knowledgeable, and outstanding at their job. I highly recommend this activity. I definitely want to do this again after I gain a little more snorkelling experience. I had zero experience and that was my only disappointment in myself. I know I would've enjoyed it much more if I had a little idea of what it is like to wear a mask and breathe through a snorkle underwater for an extended period. Definitely worth every penny! The experience itself was amazing and we had a great day where the dolphins wanted to join in with us most of the time we were in the water (whales too). The owner and staff were also genuinely kind and helpful making the experience as safe, fun, and comfortable as possible. Definitely recommending it to some of my friends in Sydney!

This was an experience of a lifetime. I would recommend it to everyone. The staff were so friendly, down to earth and patient. It as a very well organized tour. They have coordinated every detail down to a tee. We swam with hundreds of dolphins and had multiple turns in the water. Each time as awesome as the last. Dolphins swimming mere feet in front of you, and all around you at the same time. If you're on the fence, this is your sign to book!

If you are considering this attraction, just do it. The couple who own and run this business, Adam and Ellie are amazing, and have an awesome group of staff who will make it their priority to look after you! Over 2 days we were privileged to see them professionally and expertly provide an outstanding experience to their customers. Although we all wanted to see and swim with dolphins, their priority was our safety. Every person who went on the water was given expert and personal support to have a great experience. And we got to swim with wild dolphins!!! They were attracted to the boat, we didnt go chasing them, and when they came, there were heaps! With loads of encouragement we were soon in the water, seeing them below us, in front of us and to both sides! We stayed with them until they chose to leave, then we were helped out of the water. It really was amazing and a life highlight. We can't recommended this attraction highly enough. Book it now!! Do it!! Seeing them in the ocean, and even hearing them communicate was so special. Thanks so much to Adam, Ellie and the team, they were fantastic and made the experience even better (if that's possible). I went out with Dolphin Swim Australia for my b'day on 5/2/2023. The DSA crew were welcoming, friendly & above all passionate & enthusiastic about making this a great morning for everyone. We were made aware that all interactions with the dolphins are totally up to them, they are not chased or harassed in any way. The experience was breath taking & one I'll remember, watching them dart across in front of us & then alongside us, just a magical experience. It was over all too soon, time flies when you're having fun & there was plenty of that! I'm so glad I joined the pod.....

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! Dolphin Swim Australia is a fantastic tour company that I can’t recommend enough. Right now, they feel like a hidden gem that you want to tell everyone about but (also sort of want to keep it secret so it stays unique!!) The early day starts off with the kindest and sweetest co-owner, Ellie and crew checking you in, providing wet suits and gear and making sure you took any sea sickness pills (they provide free of cost and full disclosure it can get pretty choppy!) A bit of a debrief from co-owner (Ellie’s hubby) Adam and the rest of crew on safety, how to use the equipment and what to expect and we’re on our way to search for some Dollies! The whole crew makes it their mission to find the dolphins and as soon as they’re found magic ensues!! I won’t go into detail here but it’s truly something amazing to experience and I hope I’ll have the chance to do again one day. Oh and great value for both swimmers and watchers - we had a mix of both and viewing the dollies from above was just as exciting :) Thank you again Dolphin Swim Australia - my favourite tour!!

Brilliant!!! very enjoyable experience!! Adam and the entire DSA team are very skilled, cheerful and full of energy. It's a very hardworking team that juggles various tasks to skillfully bring together the entire event making this a very inclusive experience for everyone on board families, couples, singles, swimmers and observers right from start to finish. They take pictures during the trip which were uploaded to their Facebook page and we also received a delightful video sent via an email link post the trip of the swimming experience with the Dolphins underwater. Five stars and absolutely recommended!!!

Amazing experience! We saw dolphins from leaving the port and most of our time on the boat! Lots of beautiful dolphins in the ocean with us swimming along side us was a magical experience for myself, my mother and daughter. Crew are all lovely, helpful and passionate about what they do. We will be back again, was too much fun to only do once!

It was amazing ! This experience is awesome ; I highly recommend. All the staff is very nice and kind. They are very environmental friendly; which is important during a tour like this. They give lots of information about dolphins. and the swim with dolphin is breath taking :) the boat was also very nice.

Awesome experience well worth the money. Photos from the boat do not compare to the up close and personal wild dolphin experience from under water. My husband and I had an absolutely amazing experience with Dolphin Swim Australia. The operation is extremely professional, the staff were lovely, so helpful and we felt really safe at all times. We were lucky enough to get two swims with the dolphins. It was incredible seeing them up close, on their own terms. Really appreciated this company’s ethical approach and emphasis on respecting the dolphins. They engage when they want, and luckily they were so curious and playful! Highly recommend and would love to go again!

What an experience! Swimming with wild dolphins!! Took a bit of time to find some that wanted to play. You do need to be a bit nimble to get onto the net and under the boat and it's a little confronting with the water rushing into your face but if you can get past that.. WOW!! Definitely worth the $$$$. It's an early start to the day but they provide a good spread of croissants and cookies, breakfast cereal, tea and coffee... The crew were lovely and happy to chat when we were heading out..

Didn't get to swim with the dolphins this time as there were loads of fishing boats in the water for a competition. We did however see some close by the hull. Very responsibly the people running the show tested to see if the dolphins were interested in us and when they weren't, they didn't put our satisfaction before the animals' and decided to look for a different pod. Very impressive. Also because we didn't get in the water with dolphins, we could get a 50 percent refund or come back another time without paying anything. We'll certainly be doing the latter! Fans of their work!
