Beautiful beach. Long walks are perfect and the white sand just goes on and on. It is especially beautiful in the morning when these images were captured. Parking tip: We always find space one block back. Lots of shady parking spots!

Lovely and restful

My family and I went to Hawks Nest in February and visited the beach everyday. Our best experience was being greeted by one of the lifeguards who was so sweet and even said 'hello' in our language. We felt very welcomed by him and appreciate the gesture.

Beautiful beach to visit. The beach is long so one is able to take long walks along the beach all year round. There are flags and lifeguards on the beach. The only downside is that sometimes (rarely) there are rough/high waves. It is a lovely beach for the whole family. I have been going for my whole life and have never had a major problem. Highly recommend Bennett's beach!

It's my beach

Fantastic beach! Beautiful white sand, easy access and well patrolled. There are lifeguards on duty at all the busy times and the shark patrol flies overhead regularly. There is a pleasant grassy area near the carpark to de-sand and to shower off before going back to your car, the nearby caravan park or one of the places to eat.

Amazing beach, with vehicle access and dog friendly. Beautiful views to the headland and Island. Great for beach fishing, pulling up the 4x4 awning for a day at the beach, and enough space to make sure you have your own space. Make sure you get a permit from the newsagent in town before driving on the beach, or risk a fine.

Beautiful beach. Lovely views! Take a walk in this beach and you will love it. There are lot of parking spots and just across the road there is a beautiful park with kid friendly rides and lots of benches to laze around. Loved it!:)

Bennetts beach is breathtaking!!! The sand is white and clean , no rubbish on the ground. The ocean is clean and clear and so fresh. When I sit on this beach I take in all the this beautiful creations and really just grateful I get to see this and actually be here.

Beautiful beach. Lifeguard patrols on the weekend so safe for families. Very busy with lots of people, but it’s a long beach and with very little effort we found space for our family to setup. Parking was easy to find.

Bennett's beach is a wonderfull spot we all try to visit at least once a day in hawks nest different every day - at this time of year whatch out for the whale still travelling north- the view is always superb
