We stopped here for a late lunch. The food tasted fresh and good. We had Malabar Parotta with Kadai Veg and Mushroom Gravy, Bamboo Biriyani (Veg)- served with raita, achar and pappadam. All the items were quite tasty.

The only hotel in the city to have a safe stay. Some modern amenities may not be there but rooms are spacious, staff are good and the ambience also is good. You may feel a kind of old fashion things but altogether, you have no other option there

Food was horrible. Had veg items and it's worst. Even by evening 8 O clock Tandoori items was not available. Customer service was too bad

Good food, nice ambience which is suited for families too. The rates are also nominal which suits everyone. When we went there were some food festival going on and it was beef specialities on that day. The staffs are also friendly. You also have good parking space available.

Updated: this is the third visit to the hotel and we were taken aback by the reluctance of the people to serve .. there was zero tolerance level from the service person who even mentioned "food will be served when it is cooked" when we enquired when the starters would be served. Thanks to all the staffs who just made us feel terrible on a birthday Eve. Review about food: maintained the standards as expected. Chicken and veg starters tasted good. Fried rice was also tasty. Noodles disappointed a bit as it was over cooked. Old review...Would rate a 4 on 5 for the overall dine out experience at Samudra Ambience is good. Friendly staff who can give you suggestions when asked for. Soup and pepper mushroom were not upto mark. Crispy veg- a must try.. loved the taste. Chicken starters were good. So were the fried rice and noodles

We went there to try their food, it was quite good but the service was bad 😞.We went there after 9:30pm and the kitchen will close at 10:00pm , and our appearance made the Butler's angry and gave us a bad service. When we reject their openion on some of their food they just become a little bit harsh.

Food was okay but the service was horrible. Donno how this place got 3 star (i think it's fake). After serving if u need anything else u won't see any waiters in the restaurant, and then the appear only after ur done with ur meal.

Samudra Regency is a Three Star Bar Hotel situated at Kulappully on the side of Palakkad Ponnani Road. It provides lodging facility and having a good Restaurant. Its location is convenient for the travellers.

Good taste of Kerala's traditional lunch, "Oonu", served with more than 10 side dishes on a platter... Stay is superb too!

I had been to Samudra a few years back and I remember the service to be great and the food to be of exceptional quality. In my recent visit however, this was not the case. We got seated in the restaurant and the staff was extremely uninterested in serving the customers. They had an event going on and for that reason, their kitchen was busy that day. This also meant that half the menu wasn't available. The staff should inform customers in such cases. While we were seated, 3 sets of customers walked out because nothing in the menu was available. The waiters aren't even apologetic about it and it really didn't seem like they cared about the whole fiasco. The food was, average.

The rooms were clean. Rates are reasonable. Indian, Chinese and continental food available. There is no complementary breakfast. There is sufficient parking space.

It's ok type restaurant.. food is avg.... Some services are not good.. example.. they will give only one drinking water bottle at the time of check-in.. after that they won't provide one water bottle on free basis per day... They will charge extra .... generally in other hotel they provide one bottle per day per room..

it's 11am I was travelling from Thrissur to Ottapalam, between 12 pm and 12:30pm I was looking for a good restaurants ,on the way I saw the samundra hotel so, I turn my car to there, the restaurant was very good...I ordered Tali meals, it's good..the price was reasonable.. I suggest this hotel for the families who wants to have their lunch with calm and peaceful atmosphere ... I don't know about the rooms..I'm mentioned the restaurant only...

I went there for a Onam Sadhya . It was the worst experience , they just arranged some bench and desk on a hall and they arranged the food there. They said it's because of the crowd. Yeah it was crowded but I just needed a space where I can spend some private time with my family. But that was not there. And also I had paid large amount for the sadhya and they just arranged me a bench and desk. And the service over there was so poor. Completely a bad experience from the restaurant.

This hotel is located in kullapully. 4km from shoranur railway junction. Under renovation process. Spacious, clean and tidy. Helpful staff. * Food quality can be improved to gain more customers.

Wonderful place to have a stay over ,,and guess a decent place to take rooms at kulapulli as there is no other better options available at this area,,FOOD cusiens are awesome ,it's worthy if you are ready to wait ,,its time consuming but tasty and fresh,,BAR Is attached so those who take rooms for partying can also try on as they don't want to worry of going out for purchasing. a small play area for kids wich makes it better place , parking is spacious

The dining area is very well prepared. It takes a long time to get the food ordered. Average in terms of taste. The amount of food is also more and the behavior of the staff was good.

The place and the room which I got was awesome. The staff Mr. Sanjeev showed his top most hospitality. Rooms are very well managed with TV, A/C, Hot water, Wi - Fi

If you want to have a luxury visit in ottapalam or shornur this is the right place. Even the restaurant available here is delicious. Make sure you do the booking a month before your visit because the rooms are always full at all times. And no online booking available, you will have to call the hotel and do the reservation

I have booked this hotel via Yatra.com and now hotel said they are not aware and I need to pay directly to hotel. As per the booking website, I booked for a room tonight and paid online. Now what is going wrong that I need pay again for my booking. Even hotel is not aware of this booking and have to pay directly to get a room... I'm frustrated with this!!

Situated at Kulappulli 200m diatance from the junction to the Palakkad road. Facilities like Banquet hall, small conference rooms and good facility rooms and hotel are available.Good hospitality and refreshing atmosphere with wonderful rooms.

Nice service, buy products sold post 5 pm are dubious and of poor quality. Nice staff and very friendly, but not enough selection for liquor and forced to buy what they sell. Poor liquor quality. The staff claim you will have more choices before 5 pm.
