Best sadhya in thrissur, i doubt if there is any other restaurants in thrissur serving nadan sadhya. 150 rs for sadhya is worth it. Has 20 items including palada pradhaman. Parking space is very less, hardly 8 cars can park. Seating capacity is less too, hence expect crowd and little waiting period to grab your seat. Wash room, Hand wash area is not upto the mark comparing to the seating area and the ambience of the restaurant. Well behaved and welcoming staffs-👍

Fine Kerala style vegetarian restaurant. The restaurant is in heart of Thrissur City with sufficient car parking.Look from outside is excellent and ambience inside is okay.It is a renovated old building and is a bit congested inside. We had meals for lunch which was an excellent kerala style Sadya.Service is also good. . ♿️ No wheelchair accessible entrance 🚗🛵Ample parking space

The meal was amazing! All the dishes were equally good. And the meal consists of 2 payasam ie, Paripp and palada. Rasam and curd were served separately. The service was also good. The rate for the meal is Rs.180 per person. I think it's a little high, but it's worthy, too.

Amazing food. The preparation and taste is uncompromisingly amazing. Really enjoyed the food and the staff and management are very friendly and courteous. The delicacies are prepared without any compromises and served with passion. Really one among the best places in Thrissur and their sadya is a must try.

Ambience is not that great with little ventilation and lighting, not enough space and not well laid out. Food is good but that ‘extra’ which one may expect from such heritage places is missing. Service is ok. Parking may be a problem at rush hours.

Best food. I have been here for 4-5 times, and have tried many restaurants, but this restaurant serves best food. ₹150/ thali, but quality is like 400-500 per thali.

A old authentic restaurant located across Kerala, this is the first branch that located at Thrissur. The food is absolutely delicious and fresh. The hotel represents a old Kerala house “Illam”(is the Malayalam word for the house of a traditional house of Kerala). The veg meals or sadhya is served or a banana leaf and consists of approximately 15-20 items which is delicious. The sadhya also has paalada payasam and I love it.The sadhya cost INR 150 and was worth every penny. They also have a variety or dosa’s like mushroom dosa, paneer dosa, paper dosa, masala dosa etc. One night we came here and they were going to close yet they served with happiness and we ate mushroom dosa, chapati & veg curry, rava dosa and paalada payasam with was divine and I highly recommend it. The staff are very friendly. Do come here more a homely feeling. The washroom area needs renovation. This place is located quite near the Thrissur railway station. Ambiance - ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Staff -⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Customer service -⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food quality -⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food quantity - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Seating - ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Value for money - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A must visit to this decades old restaurant - Pisharody Restaurant, Thrissur

Haven't had this kind of worst experience in my life, the staffs of the hotel were very rude. Electricity wasn't even there and it was very hot sitting there even in the family A/C room. When we asked the staff there about why it's taking so long to serve us , they replied very angrily. The table wasn't even cleaned and wasn't even served water. We waited for 15 minutes for them to serve us and had to leave because there wasn't any response from the staff.

We reached around like 9 am in the morning but only dosa varieties are only available and nothing more... They have to work on the chutneys and sambar good like better than the chutneys... But their podi which is known as gun power was really great.. Got a medu vada wasn't really good kinda gotta work on other food materials..

Food served was average. Onasadhya 180 rupees with two payasam. Adapradhaman and parippu were excellent. Really a congusted place. If the seats are full, it's very difficult to serve the food. Enough parking available upto 10 cars. A/C dining area in the first floor and are also small in terms of space.

Best vegetarian restaurant in trichur. Never miss their Sadya at lunch time. Totally cleaned area Fully sanitised. Really tasty and yummy foods. Even they have very good natural curry powders and spice powders. In the heart of the city. Humble, pleasant and coperative staff. Well disciplined and organised. Wonderful photos adorn thier walls. Very cool and comfortable place. It's best for families and friends, even kids too. Sufficient parking space is available. Highly recommended.

It is fairly good experience. Had lunch from here. The meals cost you rs 150 which is very premium. We can't confidently say that it is VFM. The reason is that they have only one type of payasam, offering no banana, no moru curry.

Despite us arriving here at the closing time, the staffs were very patient and served us with a smile on their face which definitely added flavour to the entire food experience. Though the items were very limited and couple of dosa varieties were only available. Whatever was served was really good in taste, flavour and aroma. The paalada payasam was a lit. Highly recommend this place fr a homely experience. The restaurant is a very traditional one which is hosted in an old Kerala style "Illam" (traditional constructed house in Kerala in late 50s or earlier). *Very Close To Trissur Railway Station *Ample Parking *Traditional Heritage Set Up for those looking for authentic Kerala meals at an affordable cost of Rs150/ *Quality Items at competitive price *Wash Area and Restrooms needs renovation. *Separate AC dining space available, but hardly 2 families can be accommodated. *Not suitable for large groups. *You can also pick various Instant/ ready to eat food items, pickles, masalas, powders etc

Had meals from here - 150Rs per person Food is OK. Ambiance is very poor. They tried to make traditional kerala style house , but ended up like a local meal house. Toilet is worse here. Flush is not working. Only from outside this restaurant is good.

Ordered delivery for an orphanage. Later we came to know that what we ordered and paid for was not delivered. Some dishes were missing. We called the restaurant about this and they were very unprofessional about it. We had also ordered a similar sample for our home and that was a different set of dishes and the quantity was half of what someone might expect. The food taste and quality was also below expectations. Really disappointed with their service, professionalism and food.

I visited this restaurant today morning 8.30 AM(20/12/2020) Worst place. Pros 1) Good location ( near round) 2) Heritage look Cons 1) inferior quality food 2) none of staff wears mask 3) Untidy toilets 4) cold and old food I went hear along with family with lot of expectations, but nothing was fulfilled .. Dosa having bitter taste prepared in poor quality oil.. Chutney has no taste at all.. We can’t call sambar as a curry .. it’s like some old gravy.. overall all items are of poor quality, they are spoiling yummy authentic “ Ambalavasi” food goodwill by using Pisharody brand.. Please ask some one who already had food there recently before you eat there.. I already given same feed back to the Manager / owner and he agreed to improve the quality .

It was really a good restaurant when it opened up. But now a days quality of food they cook is way less. it is over priced compared to quality. There is good parking space. 8 to 10 cars can be parked easily. The signature item of this restaurant is their "Sadhya". But recently I had sadhya from this restaurant and it was not tasty as before. Quality of the food has degraded a lot. Overall my impression about this restaurant is below average.

A fine vegetarian restaurant. It is built like an old tharavad model. You can get the same ambient atmosphere from here. The food, service are also awesome. Price is moderate, not high not low. The quality of food is awesome. Also there is a shop inside the hotel, were you can buy Chatni powder, Doda powder, traditional dried vegetables etc…

Visited for lunch. They served Sadhya. Since it was during April 29th very hot, even though the A.C was kept at 17 still very humid. Nice Sadhya with olan, kalan, avial, mango pickle, papadum, carrot cabbage porriyal, mor milakai, banana chips, Sarkarai upperi, Sambhar, rasam, mour and palada prathaman. Tasty food. Washing water was not coming. But they kept water in bucket. There is car parking. Worth a visit.

We went here for Onam Sadhya and there was a huge rush. The employees were not compatible enough to handle a good crowd which I felt was the bad part. The food was really good and cheap. Sadhya cost something around 200-250.

I went to Pisharody's after reading reviews about the Sadya they deliver . This place has a traditional kerala home touch both from outside and within where they treat you well. Sadya was 90 percent wow as for me. Most importantly I felt a lack of cleanliness in hand wash area.

Worst food . Never eat food from here if you value money and respect food. They charges 150 per meal which is unjustified compared to there service, food quality, The meal which they call sadhya has no relation with traditional kerala sadhya. If you want to eat good sadhya search for any other location you will get better food than this because this is the worst

Very very very worst food. Single meals is 150/- which is too costly. A/C restaurant. But not even a fan working properly. Very bad experience. Even food doesn't tastes good. Went with High expectation but not worthy. I got cheated bcoz of this 4.1 rating. I would honestly give only 1 rating.

Very poor. Immediately on entering the hotel I enquired about Vada sambar. They said yes. After I sat down the chair, the waiter told me that there is no Vada sambar. Then I ordered Masala Dosa. It was of poor quality for which they charged ₹ 60. It was worth not more than ₹ 30. For tea they took ₹15 which had little milk for which I regretted for not drinking from outside. Footpath stalls gives better tea for ₹ 10. It is a restaurant which is of declining quality but charging for their past Goodwill. I rather should have snacks from a Footpath stall.

Good traditional vegetarian Kerala food. One of the rare traditional options you can get in Thrissur. Decent ambience with parking. Food can be made a bit more with authentic taste and a must have is to accept credit cards - I had to empty my wallet of all cash as cards are not acceptable, which is out of the world. Rest good. Thanks.
