my recent encounter with this establishment was nothing short of a disaster. Hygiene, which should be a fundamental priority, was blatantly absent. The hospital's glaring lack of cleanliness not only raises concerns about the well-being of patients but also reflects a severe disregard for basic healthcare standards. However, what sets this hospital apart is its relentless pursuit of profit at the expense of genuine patient care.Their refusal to accept external reports underscores their ulterior motive – pushing patients into relying exclusively on their exorbitantly priced services To add insult to injury, the hospital subjects patients to a battery of unnecessary tests, clearly aimed at inflating the bill rather than addressing genuine medical needs. It's evident that financial gain takes precedence over the well-being of the patients, an approach that severely undermines the trust and confidence one should place in a medical institution. The issues extend beyond medical care, permeating the very fabric of the hospital. The emergency area's inconvenient location, coupled with a profound lack of proper guidance for patients, exemplify the utter disarray and indifference that characterizes this institution Parking facilities are inadequate for a hospital of this size, while the canteen's rates are nothing short of daylight robbery, all for serving subpar food quality. The reception area is a chaotic mess, staffed by unhelpful and disinterested personnel. The enquiry services are as good as non-existent, and the security staff's unprofessionalism adds to the misery. Elevators? Don't even get me started. They appear to be relics from a bygone era, and they are nothing short of a hazard, especially in emergency situations. As if this weren't enough, the hospital's billing practices are designed to extract every penny possible from already suffering patients. They exhibit no consideration for the financial well-being of the people they are supposed to serve. The accommodations are a farce, with exorbitant charges for AC rooms that barely qualify as a closet in terms of size. With regards to the staff, the handful of helpful individuals cannot rescue the overall sinking ship of professionalism and empathy. Most of the staff members are plagued by a distressing lack of both A harrowing experience during a Cesarean section, characterized by poor communication and needless stress, is the final nail in the coffin of this institution's credibility. Valluvanad Hospital is a healthcare nightmare. I strongly urge anyone in search of quality healthcare to steer clear of this establishment. The hygiene, service, and profit-driven approach render it utterly unsuitable for individuals seeking genuine medical care. The issues raised here are not isolated incidents but appear to be deeply ingrained systemic problems in dire need of immediate attention

Not deserve any stars. And no need of usual reply for further discussions, because we know nothing going to change from your end. Waste hospital service ever. My wife admitted today and they moved to ward the admissions team promised me after 5 pm you will get so that I asked them a AC room and they said okay. After 5 pm shift has changed and staffs are changed and I asked them about the room they said it will take time come at 7 pm and again they changed 8 pm and they are saying they cannot say the exact time need to wait more. Now 8.45 pm still no room vacant. Such a waste hospital. A patient is waiting 5-6 hrs for a room is it right? I am 100% sure the management or responsible persons cannot do any thing. Need to learn from other good hospitals how they are treating the patients. I am not expecting any feedback from you because I dont want it or I dont want to trust you guys. You have to experience this kind of issues at least one time then you will understand feelings of a patient. Finally we got a room at 3 rd floor with wonderful bathroom. There is window to close when ladies bathing only some slices glasses and the center one is missing. The people who standing on the opposite building can easily see the bathroom. And note bathroom is for bathing not for movie show. Basic privacy needed. Don’t forget you are charging 600 rs for this bloody room. You guys are nothing for good.

Friends , This is a genuine review of a common man and i am putting my review after careful consideration and too many discussions with other persons came in the same hospital for their own cases . 1. All the hospitals having their emergency/casualty area is in entrance side only , but here its different, its in the back side . You know most of the people coming with heavy hearted to the hospital emergency with their own reasons or their familiy/friends problems . You can expect zero help infront of the door , securities are shouting infront of the door ... service is pathetic. 2. No proper guidance given to any of the employees including security , staff ,Insurance ,Nurses, how to behave and how to handle the situations in hospitals . I genuinely feels like ,now a days our government hospitals are much better than this ... 3. Parking is available only one advantage i can say . 4 Canteen is taking rates as same as outside hotels , then what is the use of canteen made for . 5.Reception you can see, so many peoples sitting here and there in a round table like that , nobody is sitting there to help i think , most of them are arrogant and some of them does'nt know what they doing . 6.I am seeing lots of common peoples are comming to this hospital , they need a proper guidance where they need to go , nobody is there to give proper help , You can expect zero help . 7 .Enquiry is in a small area , You need to ask some of them where is this " Enquiry office " that we cant' able to see at all , I dont know what is the purpose of this ......... 8.Securities are like the lizard in the roof , lizard's thinking that they are holding the building .Too much arrogant , zero helping mentality, shouting to poor people, keeping in mind this is a private paid hospital. 9. Lift is a heavy joking part , if you are going with the help of lift in a emergency you will defnitely die . Only one is available that is like this . 10. Main part is the Insurance team , One of the worst and worst , read this point very carefully, if we says Insurance we are having then they will bill like a corporate customer . i agree that most of the hospitals are doing the same practice , but there we will get the Insurance coverage and we only we need to give a small part . Here its different on being discharged the doctor's will write any of the point in the discharge summary like Insurance got rejected . Then we are force to pay the whole amount and they will say you can reimburse it. They are taking the money like that from too many peoples . I am one of them even my mother having Insurance . 11. If you are a medisep Insurance person , dont come to this hospital , you will defnitely not going to get the help from this hospital . His name is pradeep. I saw him too many times arrogant to many poors and they didnt question him . These type of person should be thrown out or teach him how to behave . 12. I talk to one of the famous doctor in this hospital , about the comments in the discharge summary . I wondered the reply from her, as if she makes the change in the discharge summary then the management will makes the action against her .

The front desk is poorly organised and creates a huge mess in the mornings. The nurses in the op departments seems to be inexperienced as they are new recruits. The doctor in orthology department is so arrogant and does not allow the patient to freely and clearly express the diffficulties. The laboratory is organised in an old age model and is really disgusting with the staffs not using any gloves. There are no sufficient fans and chairs for the crowd inside. The most irritating place is the pharmacy area, with a crowd of pharmasists walking here and there with medicine and minimum waiting time there is 20 t0 30 minutes. Scanning centre infrastructure is lacking space . Try to consider these issues.

Overall a good experience. I went to a hospital in Thrissur with kidney trouble and high blood sugar. The kidney doctor there didn't tell me anything and just asked me to take some 10 medicines, so I consulted the kidney doctor at Valluvanad Dr. Sriram. He was super helpful. He explained all my problems in detail and what all medication I should take. He also told me about what foods to avoid for kidney disease.

I had visited Valluvanad for my pregnancy. My consultant was Dr. RAMYA RAJ, she guided me very well, explained & cleared all my doubts. 😊I would definitely suggest her name. Staff inside labor room were also cooperative. But disliked few nurse staff outside NICU. I had called one nurse for some assistance, but she didn't even move from her seat. So I had to wait for other nurse. And had issues with getting a room for stay. They have to make proper arrangements for the same. And discharge formalities are delayed by the staff though the doctor gives the summary, staff doesn't cooperate.. Some of the charges are high. We were told one price for the room at the counter & on bill it was more.. But they didn't change it & told me to talk to management. Kindly speed up the process & some staff speak rudely but that's because each relative visit them n ask same queries (regarding rooms). Talking about cleanliness, they do it routinely (rooms, toilets, facility). It's clean n tidy. And the best part is they have 24 hrs service. I had visited midnight due to labor pain & was assisted well. Few more developments needed as it is Multi speciality hosp, crowd Iss more. So more counters for Biling, pharmacy, canteen(inside hospital), etc are needed. About staff (few nurse), again some are very cooperative while some are not. Doctors here are best!!βœŒπŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»Thank you!

There are good doctors in this hospital. Increasing the number of experienced nurses seems to be necessary. The worst aspect I experienced is the behavior of some of the security staff especially some lady securities. They assume themselves as police/intelligence and behaves in such a way. They used to check in the rooms even during night hours and while doctor is examining the patient. Mere presence of medical experts will not help but the attitude of such non-medical is also important in patient care. Request to do the needful.

Google should start implementing 0 stars or Negative stars. Worst hospital in ottapalam. Even in emergency please go some other hospital. My mother In law got admitted here yesterday due to chest infection and urinary infection. We reached here by morning 10.30. They started treatment by 3 pm. Worst nurses I have seen here. The bystanders should buy and collect medicines and bring to them for treatment .in ward toilet no light. Even if we told them or to doctors no actions. Doctor simply said go to other hospital for better treatment. They are fed up with nurses and management. We asked for a Room from morning and we got it by night 10.45 pm. Now we are taking discharge and moving to other hospital. For that process too. They put as waited for 5 hours. Pathetic. No value for patients. The owners should start some other business rather than looting patients. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL

My father passed away in this building which they call "hospital" The front desk staff was utterly incompetent and due to their clerical error we lost 1.5 lakhs INR worth of insurance money. Moreover after the death they sent documents to the wrong PHC and to rectify that we had make tons of phonecalls. *DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL*. PLEASE TAKE THE PATIENT TO AL-SHIFA OR MOULANA INSTEAD. All the positive rating for this hospital are paid reviews. Do not trust the reviews. This hospital is sub-par.

See the review by Krishna Rythm. Same thing happened with me. They allotted deluxe room only by midnight and that so called "deluxe" room was pathetic. See the "deluxe" photos. In the bathroom washbasin and toilet were yellowish and everything seemed ugly and unheigenic. Only charges were "deluxe"

Waiting the doctor without food or drinks to avoid missed the seniority.

All doctors under one roof .. has all facilities and laboratory.. reasonable.. but the management is very poor... You will have to spend an entire day to visit your doctor , get all tests done and finally get your medicines.. so if you want to visit this hospital then you have to keep aside all your other engagements of the day..

The nursing staff behaviour at scanning room is very harsh and don't show basic courtesy towards patients and escorts, really felt sooo embarrassed with those narrow minded behaviour of the staff. Hospital management need to look into the issue and severely warn the scanning room staff and refrain them from such behaviour with public. If the hospital management really needs any financial help in conducting any behavioural training for the scanning room staff, I'll manage to provide them money by any means, because they seriously need it on top priority. Scanning room staff behaviour is just like animals. They need some lesson. Thanks

Irresponsible nurses asked whether the patients who are being discharged have received their medicine and so on and have only paid for it. The nurse told the news at the nursing station without even giving medicine. Very bad behavior of staffs, they have only money oriented..... The staffs are no good, especially nurse staff....The system is not updated(detailed bill not available )..... The reception /cash payment system is better other all department is very bad......... Pls treat the patients neatly and smoothly..... The authorised authority will give a detailed class to the staffs for how to treat patients.

Excellent panel of doctors, friendly staffs except scanning staff- " there is no staffs for typing so we can't scan" This was the reply by the scanning doctor of not having an typist as if the patients should bring them from their home... Lift technicians can show some more humanity still sticking to their duty..New room for child specialist doctors especially Dr.Mahesh side is too much small, it's kids sides They will come there already irritated with their sickness and no space is there in pedatrician making it worst. EACH EMPLOYEE SHOULD JUST REMEBER THEY ARE PART OF SERVICE, NOT A BUSINESS..

A Cracker burn happened to my mothers Eyes and went to Valluvanad Ottapalam Hospital on April 2023. I am basically from Chennai, but we came to our native for vacation. So that was the first time when I visited the Hospital after our neighbours advice. But the treatment which was given was extraordinary by Dr.Chaitra -Eye specialist. We were really amazed with her treatment. She has done complete check up and made sure that my mom is completely fine. Also with her medicines the fire burn got cleared in a short time. Our special thanks to the duty Doctors and Sisters who attended for my moms treatment. A Great thanks for the supporting team of Valluvanad Hospital. Great Hospital with Great Doctors.

A decent hospital situated in the Palakkad district. The parking of this hospital will be always full in the morning time. Most of the time we have to wait in queue for a long time to meet the doctors. The hospital is not spacious. However, the doctors are well-known and experienced doctors.

My father Krishna Pisharody is under treatment of Dr. Maharajan for kidney problem. He is very good doctor, very calm and down to earth person. His way of approach is very calming for the patient. Would surely say he is a good nephrologist. Discharge procedure was very tedious when my father was admitted. Many delays are avoidable. Management should look into this matter.
