We called the hotel at 9pm asked for a room with a bathtub. After being confirmed over the phone, we booked the hotel. When we arrived at 12:15am, we were told our room is a shower only room and it is only one street away from hwy 5. The constant traffic noise is definitely a disaster. The hotel lady keep telling us there is no room available even there is still room available online. We had to leave the hotel and trying to find another place. I am a Hilton honor customer for 10 plus year and always choose Hampton as my first choice. Today I felt so disappointed and being cheated. The hotel front desk told me we called central service and she is not responsible for anything, she also claim there is no room even I see new customers keep coming in and there is still room available online. If you are the manager of this hotel, you need to fix this. If you are thinking bout staying in this hotel, I highly suggest you think again and find somewhere else while you still can. Don't be end up like us who were trying to find another hotel at 1am on Seattle streets.

It was the worst experience I ever had, I had to find another hotel for my family at 12:30 in the morning! I called them few hours earlier to confirm m the room I wanted is available but when I arrive, I was told there is no room for me even there is still room available online. I don't know who is lying but I cannot believe a hotel like Hampton can do this to their loyal customers. Don't waste your money find somewhere else. BTW, if you need a quite place to stay, you better find somewhere else, this place is 50 feet away from the rail and 100 feet away from highway, even the people from reception tell you you will hardly hear anything, don't believe them they are lying!

This facility is not up to Handicapped standards. None of the doors have a push pad to open. The doors are very hard to open and difficult to get a single person through without slamming on my ankle. Waited for help to get the suitcase in the door. Room door was difficult too. Disabled folks trying to negotiate alone will have difficulties.

The room was nice, clean, and spacious. Bathroom all white with glass showers doors , I even like the way they hide the closet behind the drapes awesome. staff was excellent However, there was a major issue in my room regarding the bed...and the staff was excellent in handling the situation..otherwise I would have given 5 stars ...1 star for the room....

The location was closest to the children's hospital where my son's goes. The staff were friendly and checked us in quickly. Parking was cheaper than other places we've been to in the area, I forgot the cost, but we felt safe leaving our car in their secured garage. We mostly fly but couldn't get a flight on short notice. The pool was clean and my kids spent most of their time there. We always choose Hampton hotels when we're with family because they're always very clean, have breakfast, and a pool. Shopping and restaurants are walking distance. We also visited the Woodland Park Zoo nearby.

So many problems. Lie no. 1: When we first booked the room, we were told we had up until one day before check-in to change the reservation to a non-refundable reservation, and the rate would be lower. So I called a few days before check-in to change the reservation to non-refundable, and we were told we could not do that. Lie no. 2. When we arrived, our room key (room 312) would not work, so I went to the front desk to have it re-keyed. We finally got in to our room, and the internet would not work. So I called down to the front desk and Connie said we would have to change rooms because someone else had taken the room when they checked in digitally. I told her we had already unpacked and used the bathroom. So she said we could stay put and she would not charge us for parking. When we checked out, we were charged for parking. Lie no. 3. We were checked in for four nights. By the second day, I called down to the desk and asked why are room had not been cleaned. She said they clean rooms only if you stay for or more nights, but you have to schedule a room service in advance. NO ONE TOLD US THIS WHEN WE CHECKED IN. So I booked an appointment for the next morning (Sunday). When we returned to our room the next day, our room was not cleaned. So we had to wait until the next day. In the meantime, we saw big piles of garbage by the elevators. It looks like other clients were not getting their rooms cleaned either, so they were piling the garbage by the elevators. It felt like I was in a third world country. HATED THIS PLACE.

Everything is digital, to a fault. Before you get into the lobby, you have to sign in on your phone so you can get a digital key which unlocks the door to the lobby. But you cannot get the key unless you are a silver member, and I am only a blue member. It is absurd that you have to sign in before even getting in the lobby! This caused a pretty big backup where everyone got to the hotel but was not notified that they would have to sign in before checking in, so the door would not open for anyone! You could not get into the parking garage until you unlocked it, nor could you could use the elevator until you unlocked it. Fortunately, the rooms were clean and comfortable. Based on my experience here, I would not recommend it. It's not worth the hassle.

The hotel is in an unusual location, away from downtown and the airport. That's fine, if you don't know where you're booking a room, that's on you if it doesn't serve your purposes. The staff was generally friendly and helpful. Sometimes they took a little while to figure something out (Wi-Fi issues, that parking was included in our rate), but they got it sorted in the end. If you are clear and polite, and know what you need, you're all set. Don't expect them to go out of their way without you asking for it, it felt like initiative and morale were lacking. The room. The room is the problem. There was an odor to the room, that was the same odor as the entire hallway. It fades in your nose after a few minutes, but when you come back after a day away it's like a brick wall. It got into our bags (it's fading away with time and it left our clothes after 1 wash). It's hard to say what it was, but my prime suspects were mildew/mold issues (based on the shower unit having obvious mildew and mold in the caulking and the fact the relative humidity of the room stayed above 65% the entire time, regardless of showers), an air freshener to cover some pet related incident (the smell was not of urine, but if you smelled the carpet in a few places, you got that urine hint), or fumigation related smells due to some past pest issue. Our bed seemed clean and free of pests, but we just felt gross the whole time, and took extra precautions when we came home. You always want to be careful, but the cleanliness of the hotel just felt off. We would have talked to the hotel about the odor, but it being in the entire hallway made us think it was just hotel funk? Also, the pool is a joke, except for kids. It's 3.5 feet deep at one end, 4.5 feet deep at the other end, and the ends are, I kid you not, 15 feet apart. 4 people in the pool will feel crowded. Parking is in a protected garage, seemed fine.

Seattle’s Children’s Hospital set us up with a room! David and Soonja are amazing. My son had surgery and they were very helpful with our stay. My family will definitely be using them again!! We have stayed there twice. The beds are nice! The showers are hot! The staff is absolutely amazing!! Thank you so much for always making our stay amazing.

Very clean hotel, would stay there again for the amazing breakfast Pros: -AMAZING breakfast selection. On that particular day, there were fruits, yogurt, biscuits and gravy, pastries, cereal, etc. -Great location to Northgate station. Less than a 5 minute walk -Lots of parking and secure access only -Large hotel with conference rooms and computer stations Cons: -No housekeeping at all unless requested 24-hours in advance -Sometimes elevator was slow especially during the morning checkouts -Paid parking -Check-in is a bit slow and the front desk staff are not well attentive

The staff were very nice and the rooms very clean and well-laid-out. Loved the breakfast options and the coffee at the breakfast was good. Unfortunately can't give 4 or 5 stars because there were so few amenities available in the room itself: There are no hair dryers in the rooms, there was only one serving of coffee (which tasted awful–I'll drink basically any coffee but had to pour this one out), no sugar, no cream or whitener), and the vending machine in the hall didn't accept any of my group's cards, so there were really no good caffeination options on the floor at all. There's still no daily room service even though Covid restrictions have ended, you have to call if you need something done. These are details I would expect a hotel at this price point would do better on. I would stay again...if they drop the prices or the in-room amenities are improved. Bring your own hair dryer and instant coffee if you stay.

Absolutely outstanding hotel. The rooms are beautiful and the hotel itself is extremely well kept. Connie and Sinjoon (sorry if misspelled) are the best. It is only 15 minutes away from downtown and not difficult to get there. Several really good restaurants and bars within walking distance and the train station is a block away. If you go, tell them that Rick and Bill sent you!!!

This is a 2 star property with no room service unless stay is over 5 days. Hallways smell because guests put trash, including pizza boxes outside of rooms, because rooms are not cleaned. Good breakfast is the only thing different from a Days Inn

Clean, hot breakfast, friendly staff. Beds were comfy and clean. But there was no fan in the bathroom?? So when we first checked into our room it smelled like poop. Also, very noisy, and since there's no fan we couldn't turn it on to drown out some noise. There was a surprise fee of paying $16 +tax for parking per night, that I was not aware of ahead of time.

Very clean, very nice customer service. I was only going there for job review but customer service in the lobby was very kind and they had a very clean hotel so I definitely don't disregard them whatsoever. And it definitely smell good. Good smells are always good in my boat.

Went to pickup family and had opportunity to view their room. Very modern room, nice size balcony, spacious lobby with fireplace. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Shopping center was one long block away. Metro train 1/2 block away.

Beautiful and peaceful. Excellent service đź‘Ź. Only negative is the rugs on the rooms need to be changed and the AC is not working the right way but I recommend this hotel. Definitely will stay here again. Thank you for a great stay..

Friendly front staff, great rooms, superb location... especially if you are using public transit to get around! Don't expect daily room service from housekeeping, but they are responsive to your needs and requests, otherwise. Breakfast is available from 6-10 AM and included with your stay, and it isn't bad, but is rather formula; just don't have mimosa and caviar expectations and you'll be okay.

I live in Central Washington but I've been staying in Seattle two days per week for work for the last several months. This is a lovely, clean, peaceful hotel and I enjoy my stay every time. Everyone behind the desk is pleasant and accommodating. I've dealt with Connie and Nancy the most and they are both always so nice and helpful. The gym facilities are clean and well maintained, and the hot breakfast is great with tons of options. The staff has my gratitude for all they do to make staying there such a comfortable experience!

This review is coming from a couple traveler. We usually stay in Marriott down at Northgate but decided to try this hotel mainly because of breakfast. We arrived in Seattle at 10am. Check-in at 4p so one can imagine a long-hour wait. In the meantime, we stayed with our relative's house. However, I decided to call at 12pm to see if they will let us check in early and wow they did! No additional charge. Breakfast is really good, lots of options and coffee all day. It is something a look forward to every morning. As for security, you need your hotel key swipe before going into the parking lot and the elevator. Our room have large desk for computers and lots of plug in. Room and bathroom look new and clean. The only thing is we were not told that we have to use our hotel keys to open the gate for the parking lot and the elevator. We had to figure out ourselves. I think it is always good to orient first-time traveler about the hotel. Overall, I am very satisfied.

Hotel looked recently updated. Everything very clean and neutral smelling. Shower had grab bars and adjustable-height shower head even in a standard room. Standard room was a little tight for my daughter's walker, next time will book ADA room. Pool was shallow but just fine for my family's needs. Tile in pool area was a little slippery, a textured tile would have been a better choice. That was my only complaint. Gated parking and keyed elevator made me confident about security. Breakfast included a make your own waffle station. Special discount for Seattle Children's Hospital seemed like a really good rate for the area and a nice hotel with hot breakfast included.

Convenient access to the link/1-line which means easy access to everything south. The room was really nice and Well appointed with a great shower and balcony. The breakfast while not mind blowing was totally reasonable and included so bonus points there.

The room wasn't entirely clean, but clean enough. There was a kids toy left behind the curtain, the window ledge was dusty, the shower door fell apart and the bedsheets kept coming off the bed. Had a king suite with a pull out sleeper sofa that was hard, metallic and uncomfortable. The sheets for the sofa bed were clean but scratchy. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good. The pool was good for a quick dip, but the hot tub was broken.

This Hampton is a very nice, newer, and very clean hotel in theSeattle Northgate area. We really felt welcome and very secure here. The parking is $16 per day but worth it because it is secure. Staff was very kind and welcoming. Our room was clean, spacious, and well laid out. Everything you'd expect from a Hilton product. We wish rooms were serviced daily, but it seems this is the standard theses days. The staff did get us anything we ask for promptly such as towels, a roll away etc. We will definitely stay here again.

I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but before you stay here, just a warning. They did not have me in the system when I arrived. I waited for nearly 30 minutes for them to “unassign” a room for someone else and assign it to me. Secondly, I was never told about the outrageous price for parking. $20 a night, but the worst part is that they were “upgrading their system”, so our room key didn’t even work to open the parking garage for the $20 a night. You had to call to be let in. Then, they only gave us one key. We needed two keys, so went we went back to get a second key, he said it was very important that we didn’t lose it. So confusing. Well, that key didn’t work at all, so we went back the second day and they made us one, so I’m not sure why it was so imperative that we didn’t lose they key that didn’t even work????? The price per night was $214 BEFORE parking and taxes. I paid $9.00 for an entire day downtown Seattle to park. It makes no sense that parking is this outrageous. On a positive note, the room was clean and breakfast was fresh and stocked both days, but aside from that, be prepared to overpay and just know that your keys may not work, your parking fee will be outrageous and your $430 for two nights will actually end up being over $100 more at checkout.

The hotel room carpet is visibly stained. There was no answer at the desk when attempting to request more towels and toilet paper (no spare roll in the room, only partial roll at time of check-in), but managed to find housekeeping in the hallway and got what was needed. The hotel is conveniently, located to where this reviewer needed to be though. I wish coffee and breakfast options were better, even paid options, since there isn’t anything else within walking distance. All the staff are helpful and friendly.

Rated 5 stars in comparison to hotels of this kind, not absolute. Clean rooms, easy access to downtown Seattle. The staff was friendly and efficient. The breakfast buffet was good. Waffles of two kinds to make, scrambled eggs or omelets, a selection of muffins and cereal, yogurt, juices, a meat (various sausage types or bacon), fruit, bread and bagels for toasting, appropriate condiments for all. The price is reasonable for Seattle area. Onsite paid parking in a surface lot or a secured garage.

I would absolutely stay here again. Staff was friendly, hotel was clean, and breakfast was pretty standard issue. No lobby bar, but local beers available in the lobby shop area, which is always a nice perk. Didn't have much time to explore the immediate surrounding area, but did not seem too walkable.

Stayed here 2 nights and it was super clean, quite and nice! This hotels proximity to the light rail is awesome & super convenient for travelers looking to go to events downtown Spokane without paying downtown prices! Beds are also super comfy!

Everything was ok but certain things could have been better. Below is a list of what was good and what was bad. Good: - Staff, friendly and accommodating. - Facilities, clean and comfortable. - Pool, fitness and common areas. Bad: - Website- reserving room, misinformation and confusion about paying. It said I had to pay in full in advance for best (non-refundable) rate and then when I got to the hotel they said I had only paid a deposit? This was confusing and made me feel like I was paying twice. Luckily I didn't but still confusing and unnecessary if website worked properly. Also said there were no rooms sharing a door in this hotel but there was! because we stayed in one. Again misinformation. TIP for anyone reading: If you are with a group and want to be next to them you have to call the hotel and arrange immediately after reserving online, the website is useless and offers misinformation at checkout. - Key required to use elevators.. This is a really annoying inconvenience. I went downstairs and forgot my key and had to call my wife (waking her up) to come down and let me in. This was 1 of 3 inconveniences involving keys to access elevator during our stay. You should let the elevators work without keys and just hire a security guard if you're that concerned about security instead of inconveniencing your guests. - Nothing to hold heavy hotel room doors when loading and unloading luggage. This was also stupid and poorly designed. This could easily be a 5 star hotel but instead I'd say it's 3 based on these frustrating inconveniences.

Excellent location near the light rail station and the I-5 ramps, but not noisy to us. The rooms were typical for the Hampton Inn, though I'm not a fan of the sliding barn door on the bathroom. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, a great stay.
