Just returned from 3 nights at the Greenlake Guesthouse and highly recommend it to anybody who is coming to Seattle. Excellent location right in front of a gorgeous Green Lake, little restaurant area literally a block away and a large shopping area about 10 min away along the lake. The house itself is very nice, well appointed and cozy. The room was very nice (Greenlake room) and the bathroom clean and very nice including a jacuzzi tub for 2 which we used once. Breakfast is good, very well presented and tasty. The owners are very nice people that care about their guests, Julie is personable without being in your face and is full of dignity and sure is and should be proud of her place. Certainly our new go to place in Seattle:).

Stayed for 2 nights and wish I could have stayed longer. The accommodations were clean and comfortable and had all the amenities I needed. I really appreciated that they had shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers instead of small plastic bottles. The wine and snacks in the room were a nice touch as well. Julie was incredibly welcoming, available, and overall a wonderful host. The breakfasts were delicious. The location is fantastic - right across the street from Greenlake, which is surrounded by green lawns and biking and walking trails. Greenlake is centrally located and I was able to walk everywhere I needed to go. Overall, good value for the price. Cannot recommend this place highly enough and cannot wait to go back.

Beautiful location, beautiful house, impeccably maintained, lovely, well-appointed room and bed, delicious breakfasts, charming, highly accommodating hosts! I couldn't figure out how anyone could give them less than a 5-star rating so I looked. The very few non-5-star ratings were either puzzling ("great stay" - 3 stars - ??), one person said they prefer a 'regular' hotel (why does that affect the rating for a bed and breakfast?), and several appeared to be mistakes. So, none of them made any sense. This is the consummately wonderful B&B experience.

We loved staying at Green Lake Guest House, what a treat! Extremely cozy, comfortable, and clean. We enjoyed the fireplace, jetted tub, and heated bathroom floors. The Oscar award winning dvd collection and useful guidebooks they provided were much appreciated as well. Julie and her staff were the perfect amount of attentive while giving you your privacy. Always asking if we needed any extra snacks or homemade cookies keeping everything extremely well stocked. Breakfast was the best bed and breakfast spread we’ve ever had and was brought to us every morning to enjoy in our room, so tasty! The location was quintessential Seattle. Beautiful neighborhood with the lake directly across the street and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Thank you for the wonderful stay, we had a great time!

Such a nice place. The neighborhood, the lake, the restaurants, and the house itself. Delicious breakfast, jet tub, comfy bed, fireplace, movie collection, and everything else. Julie was so nice, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. I really appreciated how we could text her too. Super convenient. Pretty easy street parking if you have a car. Highly recommend!

Marvelous attention to our comfort and safety in rooms designed and fitted for relaxation, serenity, and tranquility. Innkeeper Julie's breakfasts are inventive and delicious--we discovered Blueberry Oatmeal Pancakes: a taste treat!! Each day a large choice of breakfast items--it's hard to choose! All amenities thoughtfully provided: coffee, tea, water, soft drinks in the guest fridge. Julie and her daily assistant took excellent care of us, helping us find local restaurants and interesting places to visit. Across the street is Green Lake with a walking path around it. Top-notch stay--highly recommended.

The hosts have truly thought of every little detail to make you feel comfortable. There is a fairly detailed breakfast menu and the food was wonderful. Beds were comfy, towels thick and fluffy. We had a room looking out onto the garden and it was quiet at night. The house is a short walk to the area with coffee shops, restaurants, drugstore, etc. We are early risers and the earliest breakfast is 8am (but you can order a to-go the night before if you need it), so we poured ourselves mugs from the coffee maker in the hall, and sat in the communal salon to read the news on our iPads before breakfast. There is only street parking, like many places in the central area, but we had no trouble finding a spot next to the guesthouse.

We spent our anniversary at the Greenlake Guest House in the Greenlake Room. We had the best time escaping the Texas heat for some cool weather, great hospitality and fresh seafood. Everything was perfect from when we arrived to the day we had to leave. Breakfasts were laid back and delicious (especially the eggs benedict). Each day, we walked in the park across the street. Also, there are several restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance.

The food, rooms and amenities are excellent. The owners and staff provide personalized attention, creating a relaxed friendly atmosphere. The neighborhood Is walkable with the Lake and park across the street and restaurants nearby.

It's difficult to describe how awesome this place was. The facility is impeccably clean, the location is premium; breakfast is delicious, including the coffee; the bed and pillows are really comfortable.But the best part is the quality of people that those hosts are. We will stay at this place every time we visit Seattle. Thank you very much.
