I'm
giving
this
property
5
stars
because
of
the
staff
that
works
here,
but
not
the
building
(yet).
Since
I've
lived
here
(April,
2023),
I've
seen
the
staff
completely
turnover
(except
for
R'Montay,
who
has
been
the
one
constant
holding
things
down
through
the
chaos).
It's
clear
that
the
staff
that
now
works
here
(Valentina,
Starling,
Joseph,
Kurt,
Devan,
and
R'Montay)
inherited
some
pretty
severe
property
issues,
and
that
they've
improved
things
A
LOT
in
the
short
1-6
months
(respectively)
that
they've
been
here.
It's
been
impressive
to
see
the
way
they
have
handled
when
the
building
is
working
against
them
(i.e.
inheriting
broken
elevators,
broken
amenities,
poorly
maintained/out
of
date
units,
etc.)
and
the
staff
still
remains
steadfast
and
kind.
I've
never
seen
property
managers,
maintenance
crews,
and
a
custodial
person
with
Pratt
Parks'
level
of
dedication,
friendliness,
accommodation,
and
patience.
I've
lived
in
several
apartment
buildings
in
San
Francisco,
Oakland,
and
Seattle,
and
these
people
really
are
just
the
best
I've
seen.
I
used
to
work
as
a
management
consultant
for
fortune
500
companies,
so
observing
staff
culture
is
one
of
my
toxic
habits.
Nonetheless,
it's
been
impressive
to
watch
each
staff
member
through
my
time
here.
Starling
came
in,
ramped
up
extremely
quickly,
started
improving
property
conditions,
offered
support
to
the
rest
of
the
staff,
created
an
approachable
yet
firm
relationship
with
resident
complaints,
and
uplifted
the
team
around
him.
The
team
he
put
together
that's
working
here
now
is
much
more
efficient,
competent,
and
effective
than
the
previous
teams.
R'Montay
weathered
through
all
of
the
staffing
changes
and
was
the
only
person
at
multiple
points
during
the
last
6
months
that
knew
anything
about
property
policies,
billing,
unit
availability,
MFTE
availability,
and
maintenance
statuses
for
a
solid
few
months
before
Starling
was
placed
here.
I
watched
R'Montay
train
his
past
co-workers,
do
his
job,
and
the
job
of
3+
other
people.
He
also
seems
to
be
a
tenant
favorite.
Kurt
also
came
in
hot.
He
joined
maybe
a
month
ago
and
already
many
maintenance
tickets
that
I've
been
submitted
have
been
addressed
way
faster
than
in
the
past.
I
also
transferred
units
a
few
weeks
ago,
so
I
saw
Kurt
turn
over
my
new
apartment
and
my
past
apartment
efficiently
while
also
working
with
me
to
make
sure
I
had
time
to
move.
I
actually
request
more
maintenance
help
now
that
Kurt
is
around
because
I
have
faith
that
it'll
get
done,
whereas
before,
I'd
just
let
things
sit.
From
an
upper
management
point
of
view,
Kurt
is
a
huge
asset
since
it
is
in
the
property's
best
interest
to
have
tenants
WANT
to
file
maintenance
requests.
This
helps
to
prevent
derelict
building
conditions.
And
finally,
VALENTINA.
LORD
JESUS
PROTECT
THAT
WOMAN
AT
ALL
COSTS.
VALENTINA
seems
to
be
the
only
custodial
person
in
the
entire
freaking
building
(which
I
hope
changes
soon)
and
she's
been
HOLDING
IT
THE
FREAK
DOWN.
On
weekends,
when
she's
not
here,
the
building
conditions
really
suffer.
I
know
when
she's
working
because
the
second
she's
out
of
the
building,
you
start
running
into
smells,
puddles,
trash,
and
other
things
that
you
otherwise
never
see
during
the
week.
HOW
DOES
SHE
DO
IT?
HOW
DOES
SHE
SINGLEHANDEDLY
CLEAN
THE
ENTIRE
FREAKING
BUILDING
EVERY
DAY?
She's
also
just
a
joy.
Big
fan.
Big
fan
of
Valentina.
Thank
you
Valentina.

upper
leadership:
Y'all
got
really
lucky
with
this
current
team.
Please
don't
do
anything
that
would
make
any
of
them
want
to
leave.
The
building
and
the
tenants
will
suffer
greatly.
Your
reviews
will
tank.
Your
profits
will
dive.
And
I
will
be
very
sad.
Please
offer
motivational
compensation
to
the
staff
that
works
here
and
also
approve
of
big
building
purchases
that
the
team
recommends.
They
know
what
they're
doing
and
they
really
care
about
us
and
the
building.
Respectfully,
Secure
Properties:
please
don't
mess
this
up
for
us.
