Whole
Foods.
There’s
no
other
grocery
store
that
has
the
vibe,
the
mojo,
the
whole
thing
going
on
with
quality
and
user
experience.
Just
walk
through
the
doors.
Inhale.
Relax.
It
feels
good
just
to
be
there.
I’ve
been
shopping
at
WF
for
about
20
years
and
seek
them
out
wherever
I
travel.
Why?
When
they
first
came
to
Seattle,
they
owned
the
organic
and
non-allergen
niche.
Now,
every
supermarket
has
organic,
gluten-free,
etc.
But
only
Whole
Foods
sources
meat
and
fish
from
known
suppliers
with
audited,
ethical
standards.
Every
meat
comes
from
a
known
supplier
who’s
graded
on
a
scale
of
1-5
for
humane
practices.
Wild
fish
are
sustainably
sourced.
Farmed
fish,
from
vetted
suppliers.
WF
is
the
only
grocery
retailer
with
these
standards.
If
you
care
where
your
food
comes
from,
if
you
care
that
animals
are
treated
humanely,
this
is
the
only
place
to
buy
meat
and
fish.
Their
organic
and
non-allergen
selections
still
far
exceed
those
of
other
supermarkets.
That
said,
since
COVID,
they’ve
struggled
to
keep
the
shelves
stocked.
Because
they’re
owned
by
Amazon,
I
don’t
understand
why
any
shelf
would
be
empty
but,
alas,
there
are
lots
of
gaps.
I
now
have
to
either
buy
the
missing
items
from
Amazon
or
go
to
another
supermarket.
Still,
my
weekly
shopping
always
starts
with
Whole
Foods.
