If you're looking for vegetarian and vegan breakfast, this place is perfect. Their tofu scramble is unlike any I've had recently, full of flavor and textures. Their hot pastries are surprisingly fresh and flaky, and reminded me a little of pasties. My favorite part is their iced lattes, the lemon drop flavor is light and delicious!

This bookstore and cafe was a fantastic find. They have a fun and welcoming atmosphere, from their lighting to the notes on the bookshelf, giving book recommendations. They sell a lot of fun puzzles/challenges and have a table set up where you can try them out. The cafe has a lot of great food and drinks options with lots of seating inside and outside.

This place is a gem! One of the greatest coffee shops in Seattle for studying. Cute little house and cozy indoor. There are about 10 small tables and one large bench table. This place is full with books so it feels like a library here. Open late until 9pm (since lots of coffee shop close early). The coffee is great. They also serve some wine and snacks. Most books here are tech related. Great for study, work, or just reading while sipping a cup of coffee or wine. Lots of outlets on the wall, you can pretty much sit anywhere even if there are no tables available. Staff are super friendly!!

Such a cool concept and space. The book and gift selection is perfect for the science lovers in my life and the cafe has some great drinks and eats. It makes for a great cozy reading spot and offers special classes as well. On nicer days, the streatery is a good place to people watch.

What an amazing vibe for a bookstore! Definitely a must-visit location for book lovers. Lots of puzzles you can actually work on, coffee making goods, an awesome little cafe, tons and tons of really interesting books everywhere, some interesting swag in the back, and a cozy little place to sit down and enjoy all of the above.

Great specialist bookstore for nerds. Front of the shop is pop sci and general interest topics like computing, physics etc. Back room has lots of specific textbooks like UX design and coding. Good selection of coffee and cake! When I went there was a mix of people working and socialising which is good to know as I've found some cafes don't allow laptops in Seattle.

Come to peruse the great selection of books but stay to enjoy the food and coffee! The vegan breakfast burrito and vegan 2nd breakfast handpie are consistent sources of happiness. The burrito is large and packed with flavors. The handpie is a bit smaller but my personal favorite. Coffee is well rounded now as they serve Fuel espresso. Online ordering experience is a bit bumpy when selecting a location (despite there only being one) and you will not get a confirmation email. But your order will be ready when you get there no matter what. Staff is nice but normally not very chatty and they are focused on getting folks in and out.

Literally the perfect store. Nice selection of books relating to science and nature and the cafe is really good. Feels like a good representation of Seattle culture. Employees are awesome and so sweet. Definitely bringing visitors here next time!

Bookstore was great. Coffee and food was good. Was awkward to find a table after ordering a meal due to folks taking over tables to work. Don't know how feasible it would be to keep some tables reserved for customers who are actually eating, though.

A really great hidden gem in Capitol Hill! Has the best technical books out there - ones you wouldn't normally find in a coffee shop like effective c++, etc. Also has Arduino and electronics related items and lots of puzzles that you can attempt. An absolutely delightful place! Will definitely be coming back here (& often)!

I only came here for the bookstore aspect of it so I can't speak on what the drinks are like. They had a good variety of books here. From fiction, children's, manga, comics, to educational books on a bunch of different topics (computers, biology, science, philosophy, etc.). There's something here for everyone. And they also sell brain teaser puzzles as well. Part of the bookstore was in a separate section from the rest of the Cafe. I can imagine this would be a good place to study. Overall, a great place to bring your fellow book lover/ nerd.

One of my favorite cafes AND bookstores in seattle!! I love the nerdy interior design and the focus on books that are often hard to find in other bookshops / libraries. Very cozy and nice to sit and work at, and if you are lucky enough to have an event at the Lab, its a wonderful bar experience!

We had an amazing experience and delicious coffees! A warm and inviting safe space made so by the incredible humans behind the counter. I felt an instant rapport. Reading recommendations were spot on. A must visit when you are on the hill!

Very cute. Great coffee. Book selection is cool, but both the coffee shop and book store are a bit small as they combined them. It's fine, but be aware there's not a lot of seating

Amazing spot! Great books for browsing, amazing cafe, personable staff, truly a neighborhood gem! If you're really lucky, you'll get to attend an event in the lab, the private event space out back.

What a wonderful little spot to hang out, grab a bite to eat -- full breakfast meal or a yummy pastry (vegan options included) & fancy coffee/non-coffee drink; and also to check out the books they sell. Their esthetic is motivating with high ceilings and creative designs. Also, it appears small, but there is several little nooks for seating, including outdoor spaces and small study spots. Tofu scramble was delish as well as their oatmilk vanilla latte. Service was great :)

Been here many times. Ordered the vegan Chickie Banh Mi and the vegan empanada. Both were incredibly flavorful, great texture and a filling meal. I usually don’t like Banh Mi as it’s mostly bread but this one was really good. I would get it again. My fave. I love going to parties here as well. A great place for a lunch/brunch.

Cute bookstore. Staff wasn’t welcoming and drink was a little disappointed however. I can barely taste the espresso in the rosemary latte. It tastes just like very sugary milk.

This is one of the most charming and atmospheric locations around. It's both a bookstore and a cafe, and somehow managed to incorporate a fireplace and a skylight-lit study room into its aesthetic authentically. The coffee is also rather good and there's a sizeable selection of both pre-made and hot made-to-order food. This is a nice little go-to spot for some remote working, but space does become a premium especially during the weekends as Ada's hops onto more people's fave places list.

This place is beautiful! It's very well designed for enjoying the quiet time with books and coffee. Their ginger cookie tastes amazing! Definitely visit it to explore their wide range of books, interesting coffee tables and some quiet time alone.

Really great spot for the curious mind. Lots of great books and activity sets for gifting purposes. Great coffee! Also their kitchen closes pretty soon and there are only a few empanadas left after 4 PM - totally recommend the Potato Galette.
