Beautiful boat with fabulous crew! We were on the Virginia V for a wedding and everything was perfect. The lake was beautiful and our ride was smooth and worry-free. We had two pre-k age children with us and even they had so much fun. When one of them fell asleep and we were being still and holding her, the staff kept checking on us and bringing us water and even wedding cake. I can't say enough good things about this boat and crew. If your looking for a dream wedding venue, this is the perfect one!

Great cruise, beautiful old boat, friendly crew in a wonderful city. Easy access from the freeway and easy parking too.

The steamship Virginia V is the last operational example of a Puget SoundMosquito Fleet steamer. She was once part of a large fleet of small passenger and freight carrying ships that linked the islands and ports of Puget Sound in Washington State in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. She is a Seattle landmark and a National Historic Landmark.

It should be illegal for a venue this incompetant to market itself as a an event venue to innocent, unsuspecting people. I've heard this happen on multiple occasions including several weddings (including my niece's) and huge celebrations. What anyone considering the Virginia V for a major event should know is that the wooden ship goes through regular periods of repairs with absolutely terrible misjudgments from its staff on how much work there is to be done and how far out it should be started. Don't take the executive director Debra's word for anything because they can pull out and cancel on you last minute as they've already done on several occasions. Just all around atrocious. Do yourself a favor and go with the reliable Argosy if you want to have any sort of celebration on a boat.

We watched the Blue Angels from the Virginia V and it was an awesome cruise. The.captain knew exactly where to anchor the boat so we would experience a number of flyovers. It was an awesome way to watch the Blue Angels. The boat itself is an interesting journey back in time. It is beautifully maintained. The crew were all super nice.

I live close to here and I don't know why I never visited this before. You should come check this out. Maybe have a little picnic in the adjacent park, visit MOHAI perhaps. Make a day vacay with the famil-ay, what do you say? You just may, visit the bay, mmm-kay?

This is a working, 90 year old steam powered, wooden hulled ferryboat. She is available for charter and also has public cruises and is open for tours most days during the summer. She is crewed by volunteers and her operational triple expansion steam engine was built in Seattle over 100 years ago. Visit the website for pictures, videos and more information.

Its an amazing venue and the Pacific Northwest music was also amazing. You could tell there was a lot of thought picked out to who would perform and it all played out exceptionally well. We really enjoyed this and definitely recommend this to anybody who's looking for a new experience on a really unforgettable venue that screams authentic. If you are looking for a real, well crafted, Seattle music experience this not to be missed.

I'm rather into steam engines, so this is a wonderfully interesting vessel for me because the lower deck hallway goes right next to the engine, a very nice triple expansion engine, separated only by a railing. They usually have someone available to talk to you about it, and it has a lot of interesting bits to talk about. I wouldn't recommend it if you don't care much about or dislike engines or machinery, however.

We had our company summer party on the Virginia V and it was outstanding. They were super responsive and helpful in the planning process and everything on the day of the event was flawless. The crew was friendly and professional and the City Catering team was top notch. Would wholeheartedly recommend for company/team outings. Hope to use them again in the future!

Thoroughly enjoyed touring the Virginia V and talking with the oiler on board about the history of the ship and the mechanics of the engine!

Gorgeous vintage ship with a kind crew that helped us decorate our venue. The course is a beautiful lap around the lake. Park in the lot in front of Kenmore air 👍
