Unique museum and experience! Personal collection from Paul Allen (Microsoft Co-founder). Planes and tanks are painstakingly restored to their original condition. Most are in flying order. Worth calling ahead to learn when they do live demonstrations or live flying event.

This museum occupies an old aircraft hanger right next to Paine Field. They host events where they crush cars with tanks and fire off cannons. Even when you're just going to look around this place is amazing! It's also a little somber, to see the history of war lain out in front of you. And a stark reminder that peace is paramount. Nonetheless it's really interesting to see all the fighter jets, tanks, and bombers. Some of which still have dirt on them from their service days. Perhaps my favorite part is the "Why War?" exhibit, where you can see replicas of the very first atom bombs, Little Boy & Fat Man, and the history of war from basically the beginning of time until present. Einstein's letter to Roosevelt about the implication of atomic technology is there. I love the conflict simulator, where you choose a conflict and try to resolve it with as little loss of life and resources as possible. It runs about $22 for adults and $15 for kids, so a bit pricey, but worth it. They have more than adequate free parking most days, but I'm guessing it fills up fast when they host events. We'll definitely be back.

Local museum that tells the tale of Edmonds, WA via exhibits and historical artifacts. Always worth a visit (free of cost but donations welcomed) because its exhibits change. Housed in the same building that was the original City Hall and jail cell. Located in the center of town, a few steps from the water fountain that serves as Edmonds' beating heart.

We went to the Edmonds Summer Market on Saturday. Fun event, veggies, fruits, wine, pies, crafts, pastries. Attend when it opens 9 am or wait in line to get in.

Fantastic museum. Not huge, but great exhibits and the only Fw-190 D13 in existence, beautifully and authenticity restored, so a must see for any FW fans passing through.

It was a wonderful museum and our entire party enjoyed it (even though one person isn't really into places like this). It was FULL of neat exhibits, information and helpful people. It was clean, well kept and the bathrooms were nice too. All in all we were there for 1.5 hours. Had a great visit!

Incredible collection. The "Causes of War" section is particularly powerful, especially for young people learning about our 20th century wars.

Surprisingly large museum, and the volunteers told us tons of fun facts about the history of the plans on display. We easily spent three hours there and we didn't get through more than 1/3rd of the planes, although we took our time reading everything.

I could spend all day in this place. I love all the displays. One that I really enjoyed was about animals in aviation.

I love this place, they have a V2 rocket and mockups of the fat-boy and little-man bombs, and a tank that's cut in half so you can see the inside, and a aircraft being restored on the museum floor so you can see it in work, and a awesome setup with a tank in a city road, and a tank turret that's removed from its tank so you can see its parts, and, and, and.........i think I've made my point.

What an amazing day. I was expecting a couple of hangers with a few restored war birds. Boy, was I wrong! They actually have more ground vehicles than aircraft now (mostly tanks), but this takes nothing from the aviation and historical information. The theater, and interactive history of war (touch screens, audio-visual presentations, etc) is amazingly well done, and the pictorial timelines meticulously laid out on the walls are visually stimulating and educational. I was surprised at some of the artifacts that were on display, but you should just see for yourself! The highlights of my visit were the stories behind some of the aircraft and the associated people, as shared by Rick. His passion for the history of both the aircraft and the museum made for a very special day. I got to learn a lot about the back stories of the aircraft, as well as the people associated with them. I will definitely be making the trip back to be there for an upcoming flight day! Thanks again to Rick for the outstanding tour!!

Amazing experience. Impressive how new looking these planes and tanks look. But most of all is that they are all in working condition. Once a month they hold an air show and tank exhibit that show us how they flew back in the day. I will definitely be back to watch an air show!!

This place is stock full of a ton of historical planes tanks and other vehicles. The coolest part is that almost all of them are in fully working order. Take your time as you walk through three full hangers full of awesome vehicles from WWII and beyond. Also there are a surprisingly number of nukes.

I just love this place! By far one of the top museums I love to go to. All vehicles are in working order and during events the planes will be in the sky and tanks will be performing. Great place to learn about military history. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable!

I had an excellent experience during my visit to the Flying Heritage Museum. It was a mind blowing visit, especially if you are a huge history buff and airplane/vehicle lover like I am. I highly recommend visiting it if you get the opportunity.

My dad and I have loved airplanes since I could remember. Especially WWI and WWII era planes and other war tech. This place has a great mix of everything old and new, with so much on display that you can get right next to.

I came during one of the fly days. Seeing their collection move around with both tank and air shows was amazing. The only thing I could complain about is when I went too another event they didn't have these guys who made killer pulled pork sandwiches.

Had a very great time in the museum looking at those old warbirds... They are so nicely maintained you can't even tell if it's still flying in the sky yesterday.! Some of my favorites are the P51s, with that very iconic wing and design. Also, while you are at it, don't forget to take a look at those big boy missiles and... Nukes!

This place is absolutely awesome the facilities are five-star and the quality of the vintage aeroplanes is the best I have ever seen in the whole world. They have pretty much every single significant military aircraft and weapon on display in pristine condition. The staff are incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable not to mention enthusiastic about the place. What a legacy to leave behind for the general public.
