Staying here currently. Building is beautiful. The good stuff ends there. Location is ok but on a very busy street and incredibly loud in my room. Between street traffic, hearing my neighbors fighting and all the plumbing from the floors above me running through my headboard wall, I can’t sleep. Impossible. It’s a nice enough room but baseboard tile is falling off the wall and tile floor in bathroom is stained. Also, Parking stinks! No street parking at all and the garage is the tightest I’ve ever been in - had to back out when another car approached AND it’s $20/day to park in a garage. Not what I expect from Marriott especially at the price I paid.

Awful. Although it's comparable new decoration hotel, I have no idea why they equip old noisy heater in the room. You can barely sleep with the humming sound from the heater. There is a smell of renovation in the room, and the windows can not be opened at all. So basically the room likes sealed jars. The front desk doesn't really want to assist the residents, but rather looks like they don't care. The pictures from the internet looks great, nice appearance, but the living experience is awful. Never visit again.

Decided to try this place but made a mistake booking it. Not a good place. Halls are dirty and smell bad. Everyone is better off staying at Hampton Inn by Hilton less than 1/2 mile away where get free brewed coffee in the lobby at all times, a free breakfast and better beds. Will never stay here again. Don’t know how this place got 3 star rating…….

Check-in is at 3:00 pm. I arrived at 9:00 AM; they let me have my room after explaining that I had been driving all night. There is a small restaurant and store in the hotel on the 1st floor next to the lobby. Excellent workout room. Parking is $20.00 in the underground parking area. There are electric plug-in stations in the parking garage. The freeway is two blocks from the hotel, seven miles from downtown. The food is delicious. It's expensive, but it's in the hotel, so very expected. The parking is tight. If you have a large truck or car...I would recommend parking on the second level.

FALSE ADVERTISING. anyone can fact check online for today's date 11/15/2023 on the rooms they are advertising and what they are providing their guests!! Apparently, the receptionist has so-called "two educational degrees," and still, he doesn't know the hotel rules. Their rooms have failed city inspection, so they have canceled the original room booked in the reservation. How pathetic. And to top it off, they DON'T have a policy to call the person and inform them about their booking. Imagine arriving at night after a long travel and not even getting your room! UPDATE: As expected, they refused a refund of a fully paid reservation when they failed to provide services.

I was only there to see a friend that I haven't seen in 40 years, she was there for her daughter's eye surgery. The worker's were very kind to let me visit. This hotel is BEAUTIFUL I've never been in such a glamorous hotel it has its own restaurant sitting area with big screen tvs, where you can order and eat there or in your room. They have a weight room a laundry room even a bar! The queen size room we looked up the price is 169.00 a NIGHT! The only thing I thought weird was the shower has only half a door, there's no door to slide shut its just... open!

This review is for the outstanding service I received in making a reservation for this hotel; I have not stayed at the property yet. Due to unclear terms - which I read very closely - of a Marriott Bonvoy promotion, I missed out on it by a day. My interpretation of the terms was that November 29 was the last day of the promotion, but instead it expired November 29. I spoke with Jocelyn at Marriott Bonvoy customer service, who instructed me to call the front desk of the hotel directly. I was pleasantly greeted by Maury. She referred me to Blane, the manager. After explaining my situation and providing a photo I took of the promotion, Blane quickly booked me at the rate I had found, all while being incredibly kind, professional, and friendly. In this day and age, when so much can be done online or through apps, it is human interactions that make a company stand out. Blane and Maury are great assets to Marriott. It is because of wonderful people like them that I remain a loyal customer to the brand. If their service is any indication of the quality of their hotel, I will have a lovely stay indeed. P.S. I notice that the owner regularly responds to reviews, which is another sign of great management. I do hope my praise is reflected in Blane’s and Maury’s personnel files.

Recently stayed at the Courtyard in Northgate, and wish I could give them 6 stars! The property was fresh, modern, and well maintained and, unlike some other Courtyards, features a fantastic bar / restaurant area serving meals and drinks throughout the day. Parking was also easy (secure underground garage), and the location is super convenient to shopping and restaurants. Above all, props to Samantha and her team for making my stay so awesome! This team really takes personal service very seriously, and they will go above and beyond to reach out / assist you to make your stay a perfect one. I'm planning to be back in Seattle several times this year, so I already know where I'm staying! Thanks again Samantha and team, you're all rockstars.

We extended our two night stay to a third night easily with their courteous staff. Secured parking was a plus. We didn’t sample the foods available on the first floor but did enjoy the variety of seating areas in the lobby. There is even an outdoor courtyard with a fire pit that we will definitely check out next time we visit Seattle (summertime). Two of us used the weight room multiple times and found it clean and tidy. Ditto for our room. As a new hotel, the decor is hip and modern with a nod to mid century warm woods decor. A bonus was the ‘ping, ping, ping’ sound made by the shower water on the metal drain. The sound was tranquil and made my end of day shower quite relaxing. Marriott has never disappointed me, keep up the good work.

This place is not good. The GM and front desk staff could care less. The rooms are fine but when customer service doesn't care it sends a message that the property is unfit for business class. Inefficient and unprofessional. If you travel for work there are plenty better choices than this property. Thank you to the front desk for showing me how Marriott treats their guests. Staying with Hilton for the long haul, never again with Marriott. In response to the properties reply, yes there was an issue with billing and when I brought it to the attention of the front desk that is where the trouble started. I understand mistakes can be made but when the front desk tells you "someone else is going to deal with you" and then they ignore you and then the GM can't even apologize to your face for any of it, that's where the issue with customer service arose. It's an unprofessional way to communicate with your guests and quite frankly this display of a public apology is only to save face to potential future guests when it could have been avoided from the beginning by just being courteous when someone else from your team made the mistake in the first place, not the guest.

With the price paid, they don’t have complementary breakfast, no complementary drinking water in room and you pay a fee for parking. The air conditioner in room is shabby and making a very big noise and you cannot even turn it off through the control panel. Room cleanness i give 3/5 for the room I get. One elevator is broken. Surrounding area looks shabby too. Will not stay again.

Found my new favorite business hotel in Seattle, Courtyard Seattle Northgate. Amazing new Courtyard design, perfect location. I loved every aspect of this property. Rooms incredibly comfortable, designed to stay productive for work- and relax watching TV. One of the big issues with many hotels continues to be good desk chairs, power sources, USB ports. This courtyard has an abundance of everything. I was able to work, just as productive as I would in my own office. Other big +++ State of the art Gym, filtered water and cleaning supplies. Bistro restaurant with perfect perked Starbucks coffee, and the best Breakfast sandwich of any hotel. I did not need to leave the hotel for any of my immediate needs. Here is what makes the biggest difference, the staff at this courtyard hotel - Sammy is one of those service oriented leaders that makes Marriott extraordinary, giving her own personal touch. I had a very complicated reservation with more than one room, on 2 reservations. Not only did Sammy the front desk manager take great care of my reservations, she also accommodated all of my requests specific to each room. Well, helping me, the entire time Sammy was also coaching, teaching and mentoring new front desk personnel learning from this great manager. Maury on day two also with excellent attention to detail. She ensured my guests arriving had a clean ready room on arrival (even with a sellout), set up correctly. Sammy is a “can do” leadership culture, I see her culture reflected in all staff. If ever an opportunity to host a meeting, I would select this hotel in Seattle. Thank you to everyone at Courtyard Seattle Northgate for your incredible kindness, courtesy, and hospitality.

A very nice hotel with moderate price in seattle. Friendly and very helpful staff which make the stay even more wonderful. Very comfortable bed and superb clean room. Very convenient location where there are fast food and restaurant nearby. Shops and hypermarket 'target' is just 2-3mins walk away! About 10mins walk, there is the famous 'the cheesecake factory' restaurant and shopping mall as well. Super convenient. The only downside is that, we can hear clearly when customer upstair is walking. Other than that everything is good.

Modest accommodations near the light rail. Rooms good size, hotel seems clean and tidy. Starbucks around the corner and a few local restaurants. Exercise room and laundry available. If you have a VPN it will not connect to their open network. Highly insecure, but phone connectivity is 5G, so your data will be fast; great if you have an unlimited package . On a major street so lots of sirens driving by at night.

Thank you. Short stay but the snacks were right on time. Got in late was very hungry lol. Glad my room was clean and I didn't have to worry about anything so late. Nondairy creamer was a plus in the morning.

While Courtyard by Marriott is not my first choice brand among all Marriott brands (as a Lifetime Platinum member), this one was one of the most pleasant hotels with caring and thoughtful service, mindful of the overall experience of the stay. The clean and well maintained hotel with good chefs making tasty breakfast options. We will choose and recommend this hotel next time also as needed.

Our family loves staying at the Marriott Seattle Northgate, great location with lots of food options around. Rooms are clean, we enjoy the common/bar area. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Samantha at the front always goes above and beyond to make sure our family is taken care of & provides top notch customer service.

We stay in a lot of hotels, but this is my favorite! The staff were so friendly and so genuinely kind. The room was very spacious and one of the cleanest rooms we've stayed in! The dining area was beautiful and the head chef in the morning was one of the kindest most wonderful men I have ever met. The managers were very supportive and cared how we were doing. We will be returning everytime we need a place to stay in Seattle. I am thankful for staying here and those who work here!

Please note: you will pay for parking here, breakfast is not included nor is coffee. Overall nice courtyard location. The gym is really nice and the bedrooms are bigger than you would expect. The location is pretty good and there are a couple restaurants and gas stations you can walk to nearby. At this location there is a Starbucks where you will get your morning cup of coffee. Two large ones resulted in $9 which was an surprise. The beds are great and comfortable. Overall I would stay here again.

Did not get to stay. I booked an incorrect room rate and it was changed to an unfair price upon arrival (the price was way over what was listed online but she said she was the manager and could choose the price she wanted) which I understood I made a mistake. The reason I did not stay was the manager treated me like I was horrible for making the mistake on the rate or like I was trying to pull something. My reality is I had a special rate voucher because my son is having chemo and radiation in Seattle And we have to travel four hours from home. We left because of her bad attitude towards us. It costs nothing to be kind.

We had a great stay - the hotel, while nearly full for the week we were there, was quiet. The room temps easy to adjust. The room was clean with a tiny fridge and coffee maker. The TV size made up for it, though. It was huge. As others stated, this is a newer hotel and convenient with a full Starbucks within walking distance, a bus service in front of the property and two gas stations with convenience stores next door if you can't get what you need in their small market. I would caution, though, that if the hotel in the future is going to be the host of a hockey convention center close by, one watches the noise level comments. Their rates will probably go up due to demand. It would be disappointing for us as we've been staying here this past year when visiting family in the area. Note to manager...as you're not cleaning rooms during stays, perhaps the housekeeping staff could vacuum the hallways. Our hallway wasn't vacuumed once the entire week we stayed.

Rooms are good, bathroom was great! Very friendly staff, except the person at the breakfast restaurant. They open for breakfast at 6:30 am, I was there at 6:15 and asked just a coffee, but was told to wait till 6:30. I had to go to airport without my coffee. I also wish they had HBO on TV

Everyone at this hotel was so welcoming and helpful. Samantha helped us check in and answered all of our questions. Oscar helped us carry our luggage without even being asked. Very comfortable and easy parking. Thank you to everyone there for making our stay such a pleasure.

The room was not ready at check-in and we were told neither an alternative room or upgrade was available. After seeing how tired we were, the front desk offered us free drinks and appetizers at the bar while we were waiting but since the bar was not opened, they then shrugged and told us to wait at the lobby and wait until the room was ready. I understand that delays sometimes happened but the hotel staff did not really bother to try to make the wait easier for us. We had to keep following up to see if the room is ready....The room was bare, the AC was super loud, and nothing we asked (complimentary slippers etc) was available. Totally not worth the price we paid for.

2-year old hotel - nice and cozy! Excellent service, location is hard to beat (2 blocks to route 5, 24-hour McD and Starbucks), picturesque neighborhood. Parking is below ground level - that's where you park before you check-in. There's a Bistro/Bar where you can get breakfast and drinks (bar closes at 9 pm). We went to Saffron Grill, a restaurant across the street - Yum!

Old fridge, pay for almost everything, parking feels like you're going into a dungeon. House keeping were amazing, front desk could use some tips from house keeping on customer service. You can get breakfast from their bistro for $10 for a bowl of fruit or walk the half a block for McDonald's. Getting into park is a narrow one way that goes into a two way. They need to widen it or fix it.

Very comfy plush room with fancy bathroom and HUGE TV. Fridge was pretty tiny but did the job. The market and small restaurant was nice, tho a little on the spendy side. Wished there was a continental breakfast nut all around a very nice place to stay. Within walking distance of Starbucks, McDonald's etc, but not the best side of town so just be a little wary.

  • 5/5 Kelly C. 1 year ago on Google
Not the greatest location. We drove past it before we realized where we were going. But the front desk staff was amazing and super friendly. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Modern look and very comfy. Will be back very soon!

I came as an aide for a client getting surgery so the room was paid for by People for People. I didn't expect much but this place was amazing! Very clean, easy to find, and it felt safe. The parking was simple which is always nice. The showers are super fancy, with a huge walk in space and great water pressure. Definitely handicap friendly! I can vouch for the comfiness of the pull out couch. I genuinely wanted to take that couch home it's so cute and comfy. Everything in the hotel was just nice. And the staff were pleasant and accommodating. Plus, it's only 11 minutes from the hospital when there's no traffic!
