It's the small things: this morning a member of your team took the time to call me and inform me that there is no Mexican coke and offered a substitute. It's nothing big, but it does mean something. On top of that, the food is great! I never knew what a pasty was, but y'all make them very tasty. Thank you, and please continue with the great work.

Delicious pastry that I discovered by accident. The service was super friendly and fast. I ordered a sausage pastry with hot sauce and found my new favorite fast food in the city. The pastry was still hot and delicious with its egg and cheese filling. This shop is a great spot for quick, tasty, and cheap food. Loved it and will be back!

Awesome food, great anytime but especially great for cold days. Everyone is so friendly, the owner and Especially SAM! They have been following COVID protocols really closely which I appreciate. Will be back for sure!

The man who greeted me was super nice. The food had good portion size. Not the highest quality. I'm from the U.P. so it's hard to critique pasties, how do French critique croissants, or an Italian critique wine, etc. I had the chicken pot pie and traditional. So unique! The traditional however had mashed rutabaga vs good chunks...which made it more like a mashed up mess. The chicken pot pie did have a lot of cheese that seemed to predominate one end of the pastie. The bread also was folded, making it too substantial to consume for some portion.

My childhood favorite!!!! Still amazing after all these years! I sadly don't get my pasty fix as much as when I lived downtown and in school but I try to swing in as much as I can. The spicy tradition is my fav but you really can't go wrong with any. I tell any friends or family who visit from out of town that it is a Madison must stop. Thanks for going strong for all these years🙂

Teddywedgers gets hyped a bunch. I am here to say the hype is well deserved. I had the sweet potato pasty and it paired perfectly with the suggested Siracha. Will be back

First time I came here was a while ago, got the original and it was horrible. I come back today and get one that has flavor and it is instantly reason to return regularly. $5 for an easy to eat and carry meal that is satisfying and calorie dense is unbeatable in a touristy area, I reccomend it to anyone local or not who has yet to try it

Had a delightful encounter with the workers who were super friendly and helpful! We tried 4 different pasty’s and they were all really tasty in their own ways. Also had a chocolate chip oatmeal cookie made by the owners mom, which I would recommend to finish off your meal!

The food here is absolutely incredible. $10 for a full breakfast pastry with fresh eggs mixed with well seasoned vegetables. The pastry was huge and the value was awesome. I barely was able to finish it and now I feel full for the entire day. Very happy that I came here and I highly recommend this family establishment.

We've lived in the Madison area for 7 years, and I'm sad we just now discovered Teddywedgers. The Chickpea Curry Handpie was phenomenal, and one of the best curries I've ever had. I was so happy there was a vegetarian option! My husband loved his cheesy, pepperoni one. We'll definitely be back!

I'm from the Upper Peninsula, where we can get pretty critical of pasties. I waited years in Madison before giving Teddywedgers a try and I wished I had sooner!! Very happy with what I'm tasting and I'll be back :)

A tasty & hearty treat. Super friendly staff. The Spicy Traditional had a lingering kick... Was perfect! Highly recommended for a quick breakfast or lunch.

I absolutely love this place. The owner and employees are always so kind and personable. Every time I'm in Madison I stop by for a pasty and always bring some home. The best pasties I've ever had and my favorite breakfast in Madison.

I have loved this place for many years, under 3 different managements. However as of late, the employees have been inept and profoundly rude, possibly intoxicated or mentally disturbed. It breaks my heart, but I'm never going back. Avoid at all cost. Many better options on state street.

I frequent this long standing landmark of Madison's State Street eateries. Anthony and the crew always greet me like an old friend, offer pasty menu options and always ask, "need anything else?". Never rushed. We catch up on news and "see anything new at the market?".Menu prices are more than fare given the amount of food stuffed into every piping hot pasty, plus prodyce and meat costs ,(don't get me started on the price of lettuce), labour, rent, utilities, etc. A lovely people person Anthony and his mom breathed new life into a city favorite. Staff (Sam, Melissa Carrie and others) are some of the nicest people, also will not just feed you but provide direction to your next stop. Myles would be proud.

Teddywedgers was delicious with great staff! I got the sausage breakfast biscuit and my husband got a vegetarian chicken masala that was both delicious and warm! You can get a half order which is much better to either split something or if you just don't have a big appetite like me. (Sill a good size biscuits!)

Really tasty! Kinda a bummer when they’re out of things since the menu is quite small but all the pasties taste better than they look

This place is a Madison icon and for good reason. One of the few restaurants that we go to over and over again, especially for breakfast. Delicious, affordable, fast, unique...love it! Owners are great too 😊👍

Pasties of the exact caliber you want. Not too pricey, not too doughy, and ready made. Specials too if you go enough and get bored.

Been a childhood favorite of mine, and still holds to be the best food in Madison despite new owners!! There are vegan options available which are good, but I still dream about the pizza kind of ones from when i was a kid 🤣🤩 the crust is absolutely beautiful and cooked to perfection!!!!

This place is fantastic. Super fast, friendly customer service, and so cheap! As an out of towner from the east coast, I cannot recommend it enough. Had the corned beef hash pastry and it was so big!

Been getting pasties here since it opened. Any chance you could reduce the amount of salt you're putting in them? Recently got a beef stew and a traditional and they were almost inedible because of the salt.

Love this place!! So filling and it doesn't break the bank. It's healthy food, freshly made, and tastes good left over (if you can stop yourself from eating it all). 👍

Wow the chicken pot pie pasty was amazing! The staff were all super friendly and personable. Get there early to snag a breakfast pasty. They were unfortunately sold out when we got there (the regular options were all delicious though, so no major disappointment there). Just means we will have to go back again!

Satisfying meal for a great price. Every flavor they offer is great, but the best part is the service. Every time I go in they treat me like an old friend. I've come to really appreciate this place on a bad day. P.s. Breakfast pasties are an excellent hangover cure.

Tried this for the first time today and I am a fan! The half size is perfect for lunch and it’s extremely affordable compared to other options around the square. I had the spicy traditional and it was perfect. Paired it with the their hot sauce for a little extra bite and now I’m pleasantly full. Didn’t get a picture because it looked so good and I was hungry. Will 1,000% be back again soon.

The breakfast pasties are a must have. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste - so much that I went back in and bought another one.

This is a great business, run by even more terrific people. I’m vegetarian so I always get either the sweet potato or veggie wedgie and both taste amazing. The food is always warm and fresh. I even like to buy some uncooked wedgies to take home and bake later!
