Excellent location. Poorly maintained property. Government should consider giving this kind of property to private players. They could it in a better way. 1) Government uses contract labour for maintaining the property. Poorly paid 2) Rooms not cleaned well

1. The road outside the hotel is littered with plastic/paper waste. Aweful sight 2. Non-AC, domes, wood houses are located little away from the main property 3. Room/washroom looked redone but were just about okay/average 4. Food was extremely average. Breakfast was not ready by 8am (time when breakfast begins). Only one or two things were there 5. The hotel management must get the entire Kaveri bank on which it is located cleaned. 6. The iron bridge over the stream behind the wood houses is rusted and collapsing. 7. The main hotel premises can be lit with beautiful small lights in the night with some soothing music all around... considering it is on the river bank. These small initiatives will lift the aesthetics and experience of the hotel.

Location - AMAZING. Right on the banks of Kaveri, serene and peaceful. Perfect place to stay at if you are visiting Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary or Srirangapatna. Rooms - spacious and very affordably priced. Service - Not very good. The staff don't really want to put much effort. Do not confuse this place with another Hotel Mayura that shows up when searching in Srirangapatna town. This is located slightly away from the town, off the highway.

Worst hotel experience, with no geyser, faulty phone, no wifi Or internet accessibility. Stray dogs roaming around the area, even at the doorsteps of your cottage. River view balcony and open balcony were monkeys freely roam around, and to top it, worst food, served by staff who are least bothered towards you

Worst service and staff behaviour. They don’t entertain even to take your food order. Food quality is also not good and property doesn’t have any internet connection. There are many better places.

The location of this hotel/ Resort is excellent. You can enjoy your morning tea sitting just besides the tributary of Kaveri river. Rooms are also good and spacious enough. Food is good . They serve beer to the sitting area beside the river. Room rent are little higher side.

This is the most shabby hotel I have ever seen with the KSTDC tag.. The rooms were not clean. They will charge a hefty price for a non AC room. Even 50% of the rooms were also not booked on weekend when I visited. Should search for a better lodge....

It's a very beautiful place to have lunch or dinner beside the river. The service is very slow with obliging staff. While dining be watchful as monkeys will dine with you. They serve veg and non-veg. They have options of rooms as it is a resort.

Nice place... Food is good but service is not good.. There are no waiters to attend the customer at the restaurant... Had to wait for half an hour before placing order..

Absolutely amazing location for a stay. I have been to this place multiple times and we booked the cottages each time and price is very affordable. They are very spacious and cottage no.1 is the best one. The river bank makes it an interesting place to stay. Food is average but manageable. Overall a good stay.

Visited yesterday with family .Worst experience with the restaurant staff who makes you feel like an unwanted guests. We have visited several times before which is memorable but now is the time to take some serious action towards staff to make it like before and even the food quality has come down unfortunately.

Good riverside location. Fine rooms and POOR resort and restaurant service. FOOD NOT GOOD. Half of the menu items ( even basic one ) NOT AVAILABLE, over and above you can't get your own food even if they won't have anything proper available to eat.

Its a government maintained restaurant. The mushrooms pepper dry was too much of pepper, The kaju masala had very little kaju and too much of tomato. They did not have any kind of roti or naan, they just had chapathi. Overall view was great but the quality of food and service was below average.

The place is great and service is fine, you have to call them few times. Noticed one thing, its not fun to walk around as there is lots of plastic and papers in the surrounding place and in the river side. The place needs a better upkeeping.

This was my second stay here. Location is awesome. Located in the bank of Kaveri. Theppa ride is also available. Rooms are large and spacious. Service is good. Family rooms are also good.

Bad service at restaurant, no attention and they don't bother just any Government run service. Except location nothing is at use condition, even public toilets are closed . All servers are decision makers and try to avoid taking order's for food. All at your risk to stay and fun.

Rooms are not given good care for the amount they collect.. otherwise, the environment is natural and peaceful... Pantry is appreciable..

I just experienced the worst food over here and the quantity is not adequate most frustrating part is charging 60rs for a bowl of raitha. I feel like the charges are extremely high with poor quality of food I won't recommend this restaurant to eat

7 of us stayed in the cottages of River View for a couple of days. Registration was quick and the staff helped us to transfer the luggage to the rooms. Since we had requested the staff our preference and type of food we wanted, It helped very much. The staff were warm and courteous and helped to make our stay memorable. One suggestion..Kindly have a light to switch on in front of cottages independent of power-on-with- Key- inside- the- room.this will help the elderly to move around without the fear of falling...Thank you..
