Taken appointment for 12:00PM for Dr.Maqsood Ahmed. Management made us wait for more than 3 hours & allowing patients without appointment, then what's the need for appointment. Patients here questioned huge delay & the staff behaved in a rude mannerly. No time sense for management & doctors. Management of Columbia Asia was far better than manipal hospital.

The hospital provides high quality services along with a comforting atmosphere. It has a well maintained and a clean environment. However, they charge too much for consultation, laboratory services and in patient services. Also, some staff behave rudely.

I am writing this review with my own experience that I had in this hospital..... I very much delighted for kind of Treatment and care they provided to me...i haved admitted for Spinal Treatment, Dr.Ajay Hedge most highly-qualified and experienced Doctor did surgery with his excellence and Post surgery Care was extraordinarily superb I am Hartley Tankful to him, Nursing staff Tenzim Sonam, Deena,Geetu, devyashree,. X-Ray staff and Radiology staff harsitha and Team,,, Nutritionist Maria and other staff taken lots of care, Food served 100% perfect taste and Hygienic superb Room Service and Room cleaning Yashodamma, Durga very humbel staff , Overall very Good and well maintained Hospital in Mysore I strongly recommend all my friends and relatives this hospital in Mysore... My only request to manipal management is to maintain same standards for ever..and same in all your chain of hospitals. Thank you

Treatment from the doctors are too good. The amount of of work put in by other staffs like nurse , house keeping are excellent. The only thing is guests needs a separate canteen so they get tasty food inside hospital. Because the existing canteen does for both patients and guests where the taste is not preferable by guests. My Dad is a kidney Patient and we have admitted him here several times for multiple issues every time they treated him with good care and made sure he recovered well and fine. I thank the doctor and the faculty immensely for their work. I Recently underwent ACL surgery at Manipal Hospital under the guidance of Doctor BKG sir and team and I must admit that the level of healthcare I received by the team, therapists, nursing staff and support staff were truly remarkable and exceptional. Unfortunately, my positive experience was greatly overshadowed by the misbehavior displayed by the hospital's MOD Mrs.Vidya. Even after obtaining pre approval from the Star Health Insurance company for ACL surgery, due the mistake of clerical error at hospital, Cashless traetment was declined. While discussing the same with MOD Mrs.Vidya, instead of resolving the issue she started shouting at us that we cannot do anything simply pay the bill and get discharge. Regrettably, don't care attitude was shocked me and she told us that, go and file a complaint at police station, send a legal notice or go to the media, you do what ever you want, we don't care about anything just clear the bills and get discharge. It is my hope that this issue is brought to the attention of higher management or relevant authorities, so that necessary steps can be taken to improve the overall quality of care and patient experience at the hospital. However, the next day Mrs. Shylaja madam, Manager has addressed the issue properly, took their time to explain the situation in detail and updated all the progress patiently and ensured comfortable environment, always ready with a friendly smile and a helping hand. The dedication and professionalism was truly commendable. As a star health insurance company policy holder(without co payment), I had expected a smooth and hassle-free cashless treatment process. Total cost for the surgery was not explained before admitting to hospital and they told that only 5% of the bill I have to pay for consumables. But at the end final bill was 2.7 Lakh and insurance claimed for 2lakh. Please get a clarity about surgery cost and all before admitting to the hospital.

I wish I could rate minus for this hospital. Please don’t trust this hospital, they really don’t know how to treat aged patients. All that matters to them is MONEY. Recently my grandmom was hospitalised at Columbia Asia for Covid treatment. We could hardly get any updates on our grand mom, as we were not allowed to meet her(understandable), but collecting the information over the phone was like riding a roller coaster. The receptionist wouldn’t have proper update, our calls would go to every possible department but none would give a response. When my grandmom was discharged and she got home we noticed that she had very bad bedsores(like not just her back literally every part of the body). She is 85 but a strong woman, whenever she asked the nurses to get her family to meet her, she as always received rude replies. We understand that we aren’t allowed inside, atleast show some respect to aged woman! It’s your duty to ensure the patient get better mentally and physically too. I would never ever recommend this hospital to anyone.

Clean hospital. However not every efficient. I came for a platinum health check 5000 rupees. It took 5 hours. I am not sure if it’s worth having so many patient in the hospital waiting. Soft Music in background and plants would be nice. Overall better then other hospital.

I was hospitalized in Manipal Hospital Mysore. I am from Israel and was on a tour to south India. I had a mishap. I fell down and broke my arm, the Ulna bone. The treatment was very good. The surgery went well. The facilities were good. I want to point out one staff member: Vidya Pai. Obviously, there were some difficulties due to culture barriers. Madam Vidya Pai was our saver. She is kind of a positive fixer. She is fast, understands English, understands the situation in which the patient is. She is excellent with modern technology. Manipal Mysuru hospital is a class apart among hospitals in mysuru in terms of cleanliness, hygiene and service. Had gone for a knee replacement here for mom with Renowned orthosurgeon Dr Ajay Hegde. What impressed me was despite back to back hectic surgeries the smile on his face is as fresh as a daisy. Some life lessons to be taken from him. But there was another pleasant surprise to me , it was the service rendered by the nursing And house keeping staff. I would like to personally thank dedicated nursing staff of Roopa,Pallavi , Nisarga , Thashi, Veena , Shreyas, Gayathri , Jacklin, ,staff in charge- Mary ,and Supervisor Pavithra along with Sathisha and Arogya mary who contributed to quick recovery of my mother. I would also like to applaud the housekeeping staff for their relentless efforts in keeping the ,wards and corridors spick and span. I would like to thank all the doctors and staff from bottom of my heart in helping fast recovery of my mother

I got admitted to the hospital for my delivery. Right from my admission to my discharge, the care given by Dr Anjali and Dr Arif was awesome and was not expected. The way both the doctors encouraged me to go for normal delivery couldn't be explained in words. I'm grateful for both the doctors. The nursing staff were really supportive. They took care of my baby and me very well. The rooms were very clean. I'm totally impressed by the services here. The only service needs to be improved is cafeteria.

I wish there was negative rating. This is a very pathetic hospital with pathetic staff. All they want is MONEY. My grandfather had a heavy chest pain two days ago, and was admitted to this hospital. He was kept in ICU for two days, and there has been no improvement since. There were no doctors to check on him as they were all on leave for New Year's Eve. We waited for two days and since there was nothing happening from their side, we're asking them to discharge him. But they aren't even doing that, because all they care for is money. They charged Rs. 80,000+ for a day in ICU. There was no treatment, no improvements in his health, so we're taking him out of that hospital and admitting him to another hospital. Please don't trust these people, all they want is money.

Today we had been there to consult Dr.Bhuvaneshwar. When it was our turn, another family sneaked in to consult him. Doctor could not do anything but do his duties and later he apologized to me for other family's behavior. it's the worst and staff is arrogent.. I went to hospital with 8 month infant and the staff particilarly nursing is arrogent, since my child was a suspected covid positive patients and suffering from fever and as my husband was tested positive i was alone without help, I had told this in particilarly. if we complain to call center with same issues the person incharge comes and speaks very arrogently seeing i have infant in my lap who is suffering from fever. In covid isolation here it is another set of issues no proper maintenence inside no proper staff, know my kid is an infant same issues with nursing no trained nurses, housekeeping staff is better than nursing they respond to cleaning related problems better than nursing but mainly we can say nursing staff run the hospital bcoz they are the person who alaways have one to one relation with patients and the nursing staff which I came through was worst. best part is they fill the feedback on our behalf and do not ask us opinoin also and when asked for feedback form during discharge they say it's already filled on our behalf . worst experience with nursing staff both in covid and non covid ward and nursing staff is also under knowledged.

I was admitted to hispital with urine blockage. Got admitted to emergency unit. They are so profesional. Get treated and got relif immeduatly. Then got admitted under Dr. Dinesh, He is very smart, knows exact causes and treat precisly. Thier supporting was excellent. Manipal Hospitals Mysore has a brand image to Core principles conflict to fix. The brand has negative feedback and negative reviews but the service is Excellent as it was established by Columbia Asia. Most part of the experience was excellent and because they are Columbia Asia employees, their culture and value system. Time to make this model branch and practise everywhere. Nursing is 10/10. Doctors 10/10. The food is 4X costlier and no flexibility to carry home made food. The cost of hospitalization is 4X too costly. It took 3 hours to write discharge summary and wasted time.

The service done here was brilliant .They cooperated well with the patient. They were too kind and polite towards the patient. Their happiness made the patient cure with full strength and courage. The doctor's consideration and treatment was utmost excellent. And all ar totally satisfied with the service of the crew of the hospital.

Summary: 1. Transition from Columbia Asia to Manipal has resulted in understaffing. If hospitals are understaffed, it shows that the hospital doesn't care. If they don't care, I'm not safe. 2. Covid protocol is not followed inside the hospital. 3. If you can meet your doctor at his/her clinic, go there. About me: I am from Mysore. This hospital has been beneficial to me since many years. I have seen this hospital under Columbia Asia and under Manipal. Pros: 1. Clean 2. Good doctors Cons: 1. No direction. Nobody will guide anyone regarding the way to get yourself enrolled. 2. Long wait times. Appointments always will result in waiting for an hour. This is after I have taken an appointment more than 24 hours before I arrived. 3. Understaffed. Nobody calls the patients waiting. There is no queue. People are forming a group in front of the door of the doctor. This is not good during Corona times. 4. Not systematic. The staff write on a sheet of paper the order of patients to be called. Ahead of me were written more than 20 names (I confirmed this with him). I was told to wait for 1 hr. And there was not even 20 people waiting for the doctor! 5. Parking is almost never available in or anywhere near the hospital. 6. Letter to COO of Manipal is useless. I got no response. Not even an acknowledgement of the same.

Worst ever experience with Manipal hospital. Never ever visit if your planning for admission for any kind of emergency medical issue. Waited for more than 4 hours to get admition to our 3 years old baby. No caring was taken and given third class room which was not maintained properly. Drip Machine was not working and they won't allow 2 people to visit once and due to that we as family not visited once and they have thought that we are visiting to enjoy this bloody high class hospitality where they thought we are visiting for picnic. I understand due to covid they don't allow more peoples. However, keeping mind that we as human being has to understand medical situations and allow 2 peoples or give exception during peoples to visit when they are eager to see thier loved ones. Attendents Peoples are very rude and they won't even care even if you request them very genuinely. Docter is very excellent and no word/compliant about his treatment. I will never visit this hospital even i suggest other my friends to not to visit this hospital because of these Attendents. Posting one pic where we literally brought down our baby to lobby to give family time with our baby and to give more strength as a family. Peoples plz never visit this hospital or ask your doctor to suggest other hospital where they can operate from.

Top class!! My mother suffered heart attack recently and the treatment received was successful. Overall experience was excellent. All the doctors, nurse staff, attendants and all those involved were excellent. Housekeeping, Pharmacy, Canteen, lab everything was excellent. I had a great experience while I was at Manipal hospital for my delivery and also for my daughter’s treatment. From the moment I arrived at the hospital until my discharge, the level of care and attention provided by Dr. Prashanth(Orthopedic) outstanding. He thoroughly explained the surgical procedure, addressed all my concerns, and ensured that I felt comfortable and confident throughout the process. Hospital is well maintained and clean with high standards. The nurses, support staff they promptly attended our needs. Should really appreciate House Keeping Staff for maintaining cleanliness. Insurance staff Hemanth was very helpful. Felt hospital is bit expensive, but service provided is best.

My experience with Manipal has been worst. We've admitted my father in law to Manipal for jaundice treatment, and the staff here do not care for the patients. The nursing staff are irresponsible, and do not follow the instructions given by doctors. They did not even respond when we informed that patient has soiled the bedsheets.. they came after 30 minutes to clean the sheets and diaper was changed by the family members meanwhile. My FIL was okay when he was under our care in ward and then he was diagnosed with pneumonia and started taking treatment for the same and then his health started deteriorating from the day he was shifted to ICU as he was restless due to pneumonia. Even in the ICU, it was the same, no care for the patients. The bedsheet was wet and was not changed unless requested. Patient is not treated until it's severe and no coordination between the doctors. My husband had to approach each doctor for consultation every day rather than them discussing with each other. The hospital management should take a look into this.

We had our baby delivered in hospital. For healthy baby they have charged 20000. Which cannot claim insurance. It is very expensive for new born healthy baby. Baby is perfectly alright? I am still not sure what they have done for baby to charge 20000??????. Be mindful guy’s when you go to this hospital.

This is one of the worst money mongering corporate institutions. I did not expect such unprofessional, disorganized, undertrained, overworked staff for the kind of money they are charging for any consultation or treatment. No one seems to have any logical explanation of what they are doing or charging for once you end up being hospitalized. They keep redirecting you to different counters when you seek any clarity and doesn't seem to have any listening ability. During discharge, I was prompted to give positive feedback on their services and post a 5-star rating in google as well! All the overwhelming reviews posted below are mostly collected this way. Think twice before you rely on such fake reviews and get your beloved ones admitted to this place just to get ripped off emotionally, morally & financially! The nurses' response time in giving dosages of prescribed medicines is absolutely questionable, leaving the patient suffering for hours while the caretaking family member is left helpless in most situations. The discharge process took 12 hours from the point of initiation. Regardless I would like to thank Dr. Lakshmi Narasimhan, Dr. Sreeharsha & the team for the prompt advice & treatment for my dad, who had to undergo cholecystectomy & hernia repair. The doctors we met were quite experienced and professional, I appreciate that as it matters the most.

Pathetic emergence & response team. Visited today with my brother since he had high fever. Had to ask 2 times to get someone to even come & check his temperature & vitals. After temperature & vitals, again a wait of 30minutes. It’s called an emergency for a reason! The hospital staff, I believe hasn’t been briefed about how to respond in an emergency ward! Carefree attitude with silly responses, no care towards patient in need of medical attention. When asked for a volunteered COVID test, got a response saying “sir, COVID samples collected only during the day”. Like during the night COVID goes to sleep & doesn’t show! We are expected to bring back the patient during the day, to get just a sample collection to a 24hr multi-speciality hospital just to take a COVID test. How do you like that?

Wife got admitted on 5/12/21 at 5 pm. Right from Admission to Discharge, we had an excellent impression of each process and function handled by the staff. Cleanliness, Information sharing, surgery process, Doctors, Nurses and all staff deserve a big applause for a wonderful job being done of caring for a patient. Canteen too serves tasty and nutritious food. Well done keep it up.

Our experience has always been with manipal hospital . However this feedback is specific to our recent experience for LSCS by Dr.madhura phatak (gynecologist). She is so kind and very cooperative. We got admitted Sunday night as an emergency after my son met with an accident. The overall experience as an hospital I would say was excellent. Starting from the security, staff nurses, house keeping, supervisors were very efficient and hospitable. I loved the way the surgeon interacted with us and he was very patient whenever he spoke with us and my son especially pre and post surgery. Our son is being discharged today healthy and with an experience that in life accidents occur, but it is what that you go through after the accident in the first few days defines your perspectives about things, people and situations around you. I came to this hospital for the first time. The hospital was really good with good staff... All the staff are too good in interpersonal relationship... The neurosurgeon Dr venugopal sir was really kind man he explains the case and condition very nice we and our family liked them very much........ The nursing staff are too friendly with their nursing care especially the nursing staff Amala and Mohan was very good in their IPR and care to patient.... And the all service like cafe insurance receptionists are well....... The cleaning department staff Savithramma are well in maintaining hygiene..... Very good treatment from Dr Sathish Dr Saritha for my husband health condition. Staff were very caring specially sister Rekha was very good in attending, sister Rashmi, Suma malathi . Also cleaning staff Hema Pavithra every one. Cafe staffs are also good in services.

Finallly the battle of life is won😇. Every hospital has cons and conflicts these too but overall i had good experience here getting healed. Morning time we use to keep calling nurse, but hardly get any reaponse. Later learned they too are busy with other patients 🙂. Also had good experience were they were next to us when called during difficult times. My next ward aunty was so friendly, helpful and made me feel my mom was always there with me. Cleaniness i would rate 10/10. Good place and Doctor regular vist helped alot in healing myself. Thanks to Manipal hospital for curing me and teaching me self care is the first care😃🙏

Manipal hospital is a good hospital in Mysore. You can not say it is cheaper one. Though costlier. You may ask then why you visited if you can not aford, in such case i would like to give example of Prabhakar Kore Hospital in Belagavi. Though super speciality hospital , prices are affordable. Hospital is very clean. ***** Response from the staffs ***** Available of the doctors ** Prices *** Parking space ** We visited as part of complete health check up duty doctors were not available at the moment. They come at their discretion. It is not good. Doctors should be in the hospital. When you charge good amount as fees, people expect your services at that level. Management should look into this matter. People will be observing very keenly sir. I respect the brand of Manipal Hospitals. I hope this branch will uphold the same. Parking space is very less. In the coming days visitor will increase, in that time parking management will be challenging for the hospital, it should look into alternative solution.

I must tell that Dr Datthathri is amazing doctor. The way he deals with patients with patience is i likes the most. His conversation will never make you feel you are talking to stranger. He spoke to me as if he knew me from years together. Thanks for the surgery doctor. You are simply amazing.

One of the best hospital. Top class treatment. Dr. Ajay hegde sir was very cooperative and treated well. Mr Raghu sir was always available to clarify our doubts and was very helpful since before the admission till the time of discharge. And all sisters n nurses were visiting the ward every now n then and used to take care. Kudos to Amala sister n Mahalakshmi sister who took care of my mother very well for about one week. And also housekeeping staff & canteen ppl who kept clean n giving the delicious food on time respecitviely. overall we are very satisfied.

My dad met with an accident and was admitted in the hospital for few days. I am really greatful to Dr Ajith Hegde who treated him with patience and care. And also thanks to all the management and nurses who took atmost care of my father and attended to his care from the time he was admitted till the time of discharge.

Fantastic hospital with great doctors and great facilities. ICU: the doctors and nurses (Apoorva sister in particular) at ICU took great care of the patient. Complete care was provided throughout with constant monitoring. Doctors: Dr Maqsood is a very humble person and an excellent doctor for head injuries. Cleaning: Savithramma was very helpful in keeping our ward clean and would frequently visit to check cleanliness. Physiotherapy: Faisal is very knowledgeable and helped us with physiotherapy. It was very helpful in initial recovery. Hospital Staff : very helpful and provide correct advice for every query.

We visited the hospital for the pregnancy and birth of my kids. The experience is good and process is smooth. The staff is very supportive and friendly. No need to worry for any thing if you are admitted here as everything will be taken care by hospital staff itself. Very clean and hygienic compound.
