Our recent visit to the Upside Down Museum in Mysore was nothing short of a delightful and unique experience. Located in the heart of the city, this museum offers a playful twist on reality that left us with captivating memories. The museum's concept of turning everyday objects and scenes upside down is a creative endeavor that's both entertaining and thought-provoking. We found ourselves chuckling and marveling at the upside-down world created within its walls. It's a testament to the ingenuity of the artists and designers who put it all together. Sandhya took fantastic pictures of my wife and me, ensuring that we would have memorable keepsakes from our visit. The museum encourages visitors to interact with the exhibits, and we happily obliged. Walking on the ceiling, playing with gravity-defying objects, and taking selfies in the whimsical upside-down rooms added an element of playfulness to our visit. The staff at the Upside Down Museum were friendly and accommodating. They were more than happy to assist us in finding the perfect spots for our photos and ensuring that we made the most of our visit. In summary, the Upside Down Museum in Mysore is a fun and whimsical destination that provided us with memorable moments and fantastic photos. It's an excellent place to break away from the ordinary and indulge in a playful exploration of an upside-down world. We recommend it to anyone visiting Mysore looking for a unique and entertaining experience.

It's really awesome 😎 place to visit and take upside down pictures and you can get so many photos. Service provided by the staff is awesome. Especially they have so much patience to take photos of all the guest guiding people to pose accordingly. Thank you Shakuntala staff for helping us to take pics.

Very different concept of various upside down scenarios. Good thing is you can enjoy this place perfectly without worrying about pictures as the providers does all job for you and we can literally enjoy this fun place. If one has time in Mysore this is definitely a good place to visit.

This is the worst wastage of Money! Worst Staff ever! Theme of this museum: they have very nicely arranged some of the properties in a up-down fashion, & one member from the staff will guide us all the way & take our pictures. you enjoy when the staff patiently show all the spots & takes your photos or let us take ours on our own (there are hardly 15 spots in total). We went as a group of 5 people, with 2 kids (out of them one kid is charged). For tickets they collect money from all. But when you step inside the museum, the staff, will not take photo for all, for each place only one from group will be taken a single photo, & other will be group photo without any proper pose or time. Photos will be clicked without any proper timing or anything just a random clicks, and they wont allow us to check, so that we can ask for retake, say they have to complete soon. When you get irritated and ask then they will take one proper photo and then move to next place. Staff keep on chatting in kannada continuously throughout the time, one word understood, is that's enough send them out. If staff does not want people to be entertained, they should have told outside only. After reading this still anyone wants to visit this place, Dont go as a group. Buy tickets for each person seperately and enjoy all the spots and come outside and talk with your family, else you will land in same situation as mine. I have visited this place on 22-Feb-2021. One more sad part, initially a guy who does know how to take photos there, will be taking a photo and one more person will be guiding them., when asked he will say the guy who is taking is new and who is guiding is training him. Meaning he is learning with our 1500/- Thanks BTW attaching a sample photo of the staff talent.

Whether you're an art enthusiast, an optical illusion aficionado, or simply seeking a fun and out-of-the-box activity, the GRS Up Down Museum is an absolute must-visit. Thank you, Vickram crew, for their dedication and hospitality, which undoubtedly added to the magic of the entire experience, and making my family visit truly memorable. This is a best concept to give an wonderful experience to all the kids and visitors. But staffs clicking the images are actually spoiling the experience and not utilising the properties properly to click the image as per the concept. I think they need proper training to click th images as per the concept. In most of the he concept there is a chair but it is placed inverted but we have to sit properly so that when clicking the image it will be up side down but staffs are not guiding to pose properly. I loved it his place but they spoiled all the images...

This place is located right next to snow City in grs fantasy park compound. A very well done place with 20+ photo frames that are very nicely made to look like an upside down place. Staff member vinay helped us in clicking amazing upside down pictures and videos. The photos taken here can be very tricky to identify and look like a picture perfect upside down frame. Finally they have a trippy room where lights rotate 360° making us feel like we are only rotating. We get 1 hr to spend here and if we take pictures in every frame it will easily take the whole time to complete.

Unique musuem. It was a wonderful experience for me. The staff clicks pictures and they suggest different poses. At the end, there is an illusion game and that's so thrilling. It's one of the best places to visit in Mysore.

Fun place for a short visit. It's all about optical illusion and photos. One staff is allotted per group to show and take photos. It happens quickly and not much activities to do. Only photos will be taken in your own phone. Its fun though. However any activities would have made it more fun with interactions. 250 Rs entry fees per head.

GRS Upside Down Museum is a popular tourist attraction located in Mysuru, Karnataka, India. The museum features various exhibits and installations that are designed to challenge visitors' sense of perspective and gravity. GRS Upside Down Museum has a fun and unique experience that offers plenty of photo opportunities. The museum features several themed rooms and installations, such as an upside-down living room, a tilted bedroom, and a gravity-defying kitchen. Visitors can pose for photos in these rooms and create the illusion of being upside down or defying gravity. The museum is well-maintained and clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Visitors can go through the museum at their own pace, and there are plenty of photo spots throughout the exhibit. However, the experience can be a bit short-lived and that the museum can get crowded during peak hours. Additionally, the admission fee may be a bit steep for the amount of time spent in the museum. Overall, GRS Upside Down Museum is a fun and entertaining attraction for visitors looking for a unique photo opportunity. It offers a different perspective on everyday objects and surroundings, and visitors can create some interesting and memorable photos. However, it may not be suitable for visitors looking for a more educational or in-depth museum experience.

This is a new addition to GRS and Mysuru. We bought combo tickets to Snow park and Up down Museum. It was so much fun! A unique experience. I wish we could actually experience the upside down world, all the themes are made in a room kinda way and you just get to walk through and take pictures.. Few of them were out of reach to me since I’m short! Lol! The staff comes along with you and they guide us poses and takes pics themselves. They finally edit the pic in such a way that it looks upside down. Overall a very nice and unique experience. Don’t miss it! I would like to thank Shakunthala ma’am for guiding us through patiently and clicking our pics!

GRS Fantasy Park didn't disappoint... though I had to haggle with our guide to spend more time for marveling at the workmanship in the "Up Down Museum".....I guess, he was used to people just being there for photographs 🤣 Overall review: 4/5 I take one star off for the 'commercial' nature of the entire place. They could slow down a bit and let people enjoy how beautifully the place is set up. I wrestled that time out but it'd be nice if this was more a rule than an exception. The last "thing" was a surprise that totally disoriented me! It took me a while to figure out which way was up! 🤢🤢🤢

We visited on Saturday. First, we were startled seeing the set up. I don't want to disclose the trick. You will enjoy when you visit with friends and family. It was fun. However I find it to be quite expensive. It cost around ₹350/person.

Decent option for a quick fun time. It's purely photo based and optional illusion that everyone would enjoy. My kids loved it. Could add a couple of activities for fun rather than just posing for pictures.

GRS Up Down Museum in Mysore is a delightful experience filled with interactive exhibits and creative displays. The attention to detail in the exhibits is commendable, offering an engaging and unique visit. While the museum is enjoyable, a wider range of exhibits could enhance its overall appeal.

We actually went there by chance as it was not in our itenary but while going to grs water park we thought to give this museum a visit. It is a nice experience for sure as you will encounter something new there. All the items there are kept in a hanging position .You stand there and click your photograh.....then magic will happen when you rotate your photos. You will be accompanied by a person there who if needed can click your pics and can guide you with rotation etc. Definitely a one time experience if you are going to water park not otherwise.

Just too much fun and 1st experience of such museum. Cant believe who had this thought of making such a museum, truly some fun time to become childish & enjoy the ulta pulta things. Just an illusion but constructed so well. N really gives an impression of life upside down. Not very much crowded, plan accordingly, fairy reasonably priced. Crowd gets more on peak hours.
