Used to be a regular at the original Shreveport location, and attempted to go to the opening night a month or so back, with no luck due to how absolutely packed it was. While that experience was an upset, things have absolutely ironed out and they've caught their stride at the new location- no easy feat in the daring transition from a niche bar to full restaurant. -The new atmosphere is incredible. Very nicely furnished, lots of room/space to move or mingle, and an amazing turfed patio for outdoor enjoyment. They have many of the games and events they had before, including cornhole. If you need a place to hang out, this is certainly the one. Also, the staff is wonderful in every way. Incredibly kind, easy to talk to, and boast a positive attitude that is definitely infectious. -The food is as good as it's ever been. While there may be a bit of a wait, especially on busier nights, mingling with friends and relaxing blows the time right by. And everything is made fresh and cooked to order. Their main game is burgers and, while I do miss their pulled pork sandwich, the burgs are out of this world. -They have a solid tap list currently available! While their personal brews are still on the way (but should be available soon!!), their list of options are excellent. You can find Local Brewery specialties from all over Louisiana here in the meantime. And, their new cocktail lineup is a home-run with their options! Since my nickname is Lark, I'm more than obligated to call The Lark my favorite cocktail of theirs! They still host some fun event nights just as they did at the OG location. While they're waiting on their brews to be ready to reinstate the mug club (which I absolutely recommend), they still host trivia nights every Tuesday at 7pm and live entertainment most weekend evenings around the same time. Definitely exciting to see them get their footing at the new and improved location. While a part of me will always miss the small town bar feel of the original Shreveport location, the Bossier Garage shows great promise in thriving for many years to come. I look forward to sharing many a drink here at the new site and wish the Red River Brew Crew great success! Cheers!

We had a surprise party here for my sister's 40th birthday celebration. We were able to make reservations and they let us come in early to setup the tables and decor. The manager was so helpful and courteous. They serve amazing food here so the guests enjoyed a nice dinner, had some drinks, watched some glass blowing thru the big windows looking into the brewery, then karaoke started and let me tell you---it was super fun and entertaining!! All of the guests had a blast and my sister had an amazing 40th birthday party thanks to Red River Brewpub, their amazing manager, and employees. I highly recommend you visit soon because this place has got it going on!

This was not a good experience for me. There's no real direction for how to navigate & it's just one too many steps. I thought the order window was a souvenir stop because they also have a blown glass workshop. Despite the fact there's a menu at the order window, we were told to sit down & get menus from the bar & THEN come back to order. If I hadn't been so hungry I probably would have walked out due to the attitude. We ordered a couple of relatively simple items & had to go to the pickup window at the other end of the restaurant. Unfortunately after all of this the food was just average.

My wife is celiac. It's extremely difficult to find GF celiac friendly hot wings here. We came in to have "Ah" drink ended up having an Awesome treat to their wings. We sat at the bar and our awesome wait staff said they could just bake the wings and not fry them. (it's a shared fryer) celiacs understand. We will be bring our entire crew back here for debaucheris in Good Times.

Atmosphere is amazing, service was some of the best in the SBC, but the food could really use some attention. Sweet tea was awesome, just the right amount of sweet. Appetizer was fried pickles, great beer batter, but greasy like dripping off greasy & most were clumped together. Ordered the bacon jam burger & was excited to try it. Burger arrived, looked great. First bite no bacon jam, second bite still no bacon jam, that's when I investigated to find NO bacon jam was out on it. Waitress quickly went and got me a side of what they call bacon jam, it was simply bacon pieces somewhat cooked down slightly with a few chopped pieces of onion. Not jam at all. P.S. online menu is not at all what they actually have. Burgers & half of the appetizers is all they serve. Again, service was the best part & sadly that's not enough to draw me back.

This place is kind of like an indoor picknic. The beers have improved in my opinion, but I haven’t been here in about a year. The barrel aged brews were all excellent. They change the food menu 4 times a year according to the head chef so don’t come with any specific menu choices in mind. We had burgers that were huge, good quality meat, and medium rare. I also had the Cuban before and it was also excellent. Totally missing the fried mushrooms that were no longer available and truely the best I had ever eaten. We will be back and we will add it to our list of places to take out of town guests.

Drinks are good. Service is great. Space is nice. Food keeps getting worse. I've been about 8 times now... the first time the burger was amazing. My last visit last week it was ice cold and god awful. If i go back it'll be for drinks only.

Terrible. Considering they forgot to ring my meal, I can be ok with that but then the manager says that other tables need their food too.....no...my ticket should be front of the line but it wasn't. Then the chicken is not great, actually is awful

First time to this place. One of friend ordered a chicken salad and it took like almost 1 hour to get it served. We came when they had a trivia night so maybe that is the reason why the service was late. It is good place to hang out with friends

The food was good. The fish was a bit over- breaded it was greasy. Frys were very good. Waitstaff was very attentive. Beer was cold and went down easy. I will be back.

First time here at the new location in bossier city. Love this place and what the owners have done. First off the out door are is great for family’s so that the kids can play. This reminds me of places in Houston and Dallas and I like the direction they are going. Inside the layout and decor is spot on with a stage on the back corner of the building. They have game nights as well. Beers: their own brew wasn’t available when we went but they had others, I got a old fashion and it was really good. Waitstaff was very attentive and polite. Food. This is where I feel they need to address. IT’s presentation feel on its face with the blt and egg sandwich. The sandwich was pathetic at best. I would expect this to be a fuller sandwich and more bacon or thicker cut bacon. My son got the chicken fingers and for a three year old spit it out due to to much pepper or spice. Reduce the seasoning and they would be good. Breading was perfect. I love the fries they were spot on. The fried pickles were also spicy or lots of pepper. These usually do not need seasoning. I like the cut and portions were good. Again my son liked the pickles but peeled off the batter. Hopefully owners will take this critique and make changes cause this place is fantastic! Pets are allowed. I’m updating my original post from 6 years ago. We dinned in at the new location on 1/07/2023 That’s my reason for 4 stars

Food was better than your usual brewery food. Only 3 of their own beers available which was unacceptable for a brewery. I’m assuming this will be corrected as they settle in to this new location. It’s a beautiful space. Somewhere you could easily hang out with friends or family for hours.

If you are looking for nice, laid back kind of atmosphere with a great craft beer, this is the place for you! The staff are friendly and food is All-American good. Industrial type design throughout inside and open courtyard with area for yard games to hang out and stay a while.

Too expensive for cold and subpar food. Good service and great seating and design. The food is just not there yet, especially for that price point. ~ Red River brew pub at The Garage - East Bank

Wings are pretty good. Sauce wasn't my favorite but not bad. They were cooked well. Smokey flavor throughout. I really liked that part. Lack of blue cheese for wings is the reason for four stars. That's just unacceptable. Will be back.

It was very spacious but not an easy place to find. It was able to hold 3 different events at one time. The food was slow coming and it was just ok. The food truck was a little overwhelmed with the amount of people there. There is a large selection of beer and you can watch glass being made next door. The outside patio has a view of I-20.

This brewery is great! Really reminded me of some of my favorites in Asheville, NC. The space is large, the bar tenders were very friendly and talkative (in a good way!). There's even a little room off to the side where some kids were playing ping pong! The big stage looks like it'd be great for local jam sessions. The brews were all pretty unique, with a surprising amount of diversity, in my opinion. Really loved the Hay Ryed! Took home a couple of growlers. :) Didn't have any food from Fat Calf (co-located), but have heard great things about them.

The more I eat here the less I like it. I have had the burnt end tots, pulled pork chips, cheese curds, burgers, and turkey melt. While it is all edible, it is much more enjoyable after multiple beers or drinks. I don't recommend being the DD and expecting amazing food. Most of the drafts are not my taste. I have had a few that are decent. The soda is fantastic so there is a little hope for the DDs out there.

Great experience. Had the Brewhouse Bacon Jam Burger and ate on the patio. Fun and relaxing atmosphere.

My first experience: -All American burger: high quality, the bread set it off, very tasty patty and cheese combo. Loved it. -Heliopolis beer: loved it. Tried it next to a Michelob to fully appreciate it (from my friends Michelob) and after the friends tried my Helio they switched from the Michelob. I had no idea how bad a mass produced beer is. -Cheese curds: best cheese appetizer I’ve had. Very good. This was probably the highlight of my visit. Overall, my visit personally gave me no reason to rate anything other than 5/5. My expectations were exceeded and the staff was very friendly and helpful especially with selecting the right beer. I’ll be back here for sure.

This is a good local restaurant for craft beer and good food. The menu is simple, but continously improving. All the beer that is served is made in house. There are offerings for almost any taste at a reasonable price. The staff are very professional and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for local craft beer done right. Thanks for a pleasant dining experience.

👍👍 The French fries - excellent! The fried oysters - a little dry for my taste but the breading and flavor were spot on. The fried shrimp - a light breading which is fine and the flavor was great! I know the owner from working at the Horseshoe; he runs a tight ship. The decor and atmosphere is awe...
