I visited this place for the first time. I had the Lumberjack breakfast consisting of 3 blueberry pancakes, 3 scrambled eggs, potatoes and sausage. The portions are large. I tried but couldn't finish it. Delicious. The service was great. I'll be back.

I loved this place!! Located in historical downtown Nacogdoches it has the small town mom and pop dinner feel but with a higher calibre environment and cleanliness. I went for the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans which was spectacularly done in a traditional way but with a fine twist on the gravy which was actually a breakfast sausage gravy and surprisingly worked well to elevate my meal to the next level of flavor explosion. Highly recommended if you have never been. ☕️🥧🍔🥞

John Wayne once asked: "Have you ever been to Nacogdoches?" Why, yes...I have. And a stop at Dollie's Diner was great way to check that destination off my list. In the first part of an 800 mile return trip, we were running close to lunch time and took a turn off our route to try Dollie's. The place was packed, but tables were turning over quickly. Once seated, service was prompt and friendly. The food was tasty and we both had a good lunch. This may have been the best Chicken Fried Steak that I have ever had...more than I could eat for lunch.

Eating at the cutest diner. The decor is awesome as well as the service. Malisia is the best server. There's lots of history in the area and the food is amazing.

We stopped here for breakfast before leaving town and this was just an amazing way to start the day. Service was excellent. The coffee was nice and strong - I was tweaking after just one cup. They have some really cool Mex-inspired items on the menu to keep breakfast interesting. I had the Huevos Rancheros and the tortillas were nice and crispy, but the flavor could have been stronger.

The food was at a good price and they were open on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. My husband got the Chicken fried steak the batter and gravy he said were good. I got the tomato basil soup since I had a big breakfast that morning. The service was quick. They are a nice place to eat when you are visiting downtown and some of their shops.

I've been to Dollies twice and each time the food has been delicious! The portions are large for the money and I promise the tater tots are the best I've ever had! I reccomend getting the regular cheeseburger over the bacon cheeseburger. Their bacon is very thick and good on its own, but it takes away from the burger. My husband got the grilled chicken sandwich and onion rings. It didn't last long. The moment I looked up he'd finished half of it. He said it was great (especially for a grilled chicken sandwich) nice and juicy! I gave it a 4 stars because the food is worth it alone. But, the service is pretty slow. They get busy really quickly!

Our rogue hunting party departed camp in search of pancakes, burgers, and coffee. Our kids LOVE pancakes and these were scrumptious (added chocolate chips) and a side of sausage. Our 7 year old tried his first burger & started guarding it. He said the crinkle fries were perfect. My husband and I got bacon cheddar burgers and everything from the meat, fixings, and bun was juicily melting in our mouths. I got coffee, too - a couple of cups, tent life is no joke. The boys swore our waitress was one of Santa’s spy elves because she was so happy & eager to please, I think she just had loads of coffee, but the kids were well behaved so yes, spy elf she was! We didn’t stop there. Chocolate chip buttermilk pecan topping pie. Where the everloving elf dessert has this been my entire life??? She gave us two slices, I guess because she felt we may fight over just one. Elves…. Needless to say, we ALL can’t wait to go hunting again, so we can escape to Dolli’s and feast! Sorry about the pictures. I’ll snap a few before we eat next time. We just didn’t know it would be SOOO good!

Everything here was great. the food fantastic. I had the reuben sandwich and onion rings it was so delightful and don't forget to get some pie, the cheesecake and cobbler are super delicious. You can if you want to, but if you choose to eat at Denny's you're going to totally miss out. Most all your lunch plates are $11 to $12 very reasonably priced.

The food and atmosphere were great. I went at around 10:30am and was able to find seating right away. It’s service was neither the best nor the worst. I was given the check early which would have helped if I was in a hurry but it seemed like my waitress forgot about me after and never checked on me again. All in all a good experience.

The burgers were OK. Didn't like the sweet buns. The waitress was nice but we had to wait awhile for refills. I do have to add that the breakfast here is great. If you want a burger but don't like the sweet bread then just order breakfast .

I was in town visiting and my cousin suggested eating breakfast here! I must say it was a good decision...everything was perfect! I ordered the Lumberjack(3 pancakes, 3 eggs, home fries, and bacon)and my cousin had a sausage and cheese omelet which comes with home fries and toast. It is a must visit if you're visiting the Pineywoods area! Oh yeah, there was a slight wait but it was worth it!!

Excellent food. The Patty Melt & The Tex-Mex Burger were phenomenal, as were the Onion Rings & Tots. The waitress was great, other than my Patty Melt came out with another table's order, and the waitress didn't just give it to me. Things happen, but just give my food to me hot. All in all great place, & I would go back.

Dolli's is a warm and friendly place. Dolli has more than once gone out of her way to make our experiences there uniquely memorable. One time gave my friend a dish because she overheard it matched her grandfather's favorite coffee mug. Netty (the manager) is a joy to be around and makes my day brighter just having a chance to talk with her. In a small college town you have "The Regulars", the tourists and the students. The regulars love Dolli's, Dolli, Netty and the rest of the staff. The tourist love the uniquely enjoyable experience and the students come and go enjoying it while they are here, adding it to the experiences of what is unique about Nacogdoches. If you want a great experience and a good meal, stop in to Dolli's and have a great time. If you are here as a student, don't miss out while you are here.

Loved it! Cute place to eat with friendly staff, good prices, and great food! Everything was made fresh for us so it did take some time but we weren’t in a rush so it was fine. We got an omelet, steak fingers, chicken fingers, a side salad, and the sirloin.

BLT (with egg) was delicious! I also loved the decor and the vibes. I thought I’d share my experience for the benefit of those who live here and anyone just passing through because Dolli’s Diner is definitely a gem in Nacogdoches! And we’re lucky that we have a restaurant like this right here in our little town.

Such a great place. NETTY, was absolutely great. She was quick, friendly, and just fun to talk to. The food was great. I had the country fired steak and eggs. Everything came out great. Definitely will be back. Loved all the different paintings on the wall.

When traveling through Nacogdoches, TX, Dolli's Diner is definitely a place you will want to visit. We found this gem of a place today and we're quite impressed. This cute restaurant is nestled right on the corner of the lovely old down town square. The atmosphere is fun and inviting. I can't say enough for the food. We had fried green tomatoes, a fantastic meatloaf sandwich on sourdough bread with onion rings, the bacon cheeseburger, and a classic cheeseburger (both with fries.) We ate till we couldn't eat anymore and then packed the rest to go. 😋 Betty Boop seems to be their mascot as she is displayed among what looks like a local artist's paintings that they have showcased around the restaurant. Some of the paintings are even for sale. This home grown restaurant has been around for 6 years which made it through covid, and rightly so. The down to earth friendly employees and atmosphere combines with great food is a must see. You won't regret the experience. You can also conveniently walk off some of your meal and stretch your legs by strolling around the beautifully well kept historical town square.
