Excellent authentic Cantonese meal. Book in advance, the mashed yam roast duck dish is a must to try. Only very skilled chef can make it. You have to order in advance. Speak to the owner Apple, tell her my name Carrie Ho ask her to do dishes as good as mine. You will not be disappointed. Guarantee money back.

I need to point out I gave 1 star not because of any quality issues, but is for the restaurant owner's attitude. In the menu there's a map of China indicating: "Taiwan (China!!!)". One may not agree with my reason of such rating, but let's elaborate in this way, there's many other good Chinese restaurants out there, why do I have to pay a restaurant to support the owner with such political standpoint, UK is not a country that disrespect other countries' sovereignty, not like China we don't see things that way. Dining in a restaurant like that is no fun, regardless of how good the food and service is. However I need to honestly point out this restaurant provide excellent food and good service, I can't deny that.

Amaizing food, we were having the shared menu for two. Was so fresh and served in traditional way, could taste little bit of Chinese. It can be felt that this is a familly business. Highly recommended 👌 Come back for sure

Fantastic chinese meal for two. Dim sum and crab soup delicious. Main of seafood took a while due to big buffet party upstairs. When it came though, my goodness, worth the wait. Sea bass in ginger and spring onions best yet. Prawn and vegetables also superb. Very friendly staff, who though busy, always ready with extra drinks. Just a shame about the waiting time.

The pickled fish was delicious. The fish, a whole medium sized sea brass made the soup so fresh and tasteful. The dish has a little spicy with good smell that caused my appetite increased. Well cooking and will come again.

We were asked if we were going to the theatre... We confirmed that we weren't, which I suspect is what led to a painfully slow service while everyone else's food in the restaurant came quickly. We asked for the set menu for 7 people which was really poor value for money. Some of the starters were ok but the mains were poor, the whole thing took 2 hours to come out and there is absolutely no way that we were given enough to feed 7 adults. Very expensive for what we got and left hungry. Generally nowhere near enough staff either, although they do work very hard it was very difficult to order drinks, just wanted to get out of there in the end and asked for the bill while the dirty dishes were still on our table.

Absolutely fantastic food! I first discovered this restaurant over 10 years ago on a business trip and the food is still just as good today (I always recommend it to anyone asking where to eat in Wolverhampton). The crispy chilli beef is the best I've ever had. And it's VERY reasonably priced (dinner for four adults, including drinks was £111).

Must’ve walked past this place hundreds of times before been given a recommendation for this gem of a restaurant. Went with friends and opted for a fixed menu for four which gave an opportunity to try a range of really tasty meals. They also have a pre-show menu for those going to the theatre. In addition to great food, the restaurant gave us a warm welcome, excellent, attentive and efficient service. Look forward to going back, can’t recommend enough

Lovely restaurant with a vast selection of meals. Food is fresh and tasty. I always love the fresh warm prawn crackers when you are seated! Wine is about £19 a bottle, and our bill was mainly impacted by the cost of our drinks. Food is reasonably priced, especially for a Saturday evening. Staff work extremely hard and are accommodating. Venue is clean and very well presented. My husband loved the three roast meat, he struggles to eat it all!

Delicious food and lovely service! I was given a homemade Chinese dessert for free at the end - mango & coconut jelly. Yum!

Love this place. Staff and food are excellent. A real personalised service, they remember you, and that doesn't happen in many places these days. 5* every time.

I have eaten here a couple of times before and as always the food was fantastic. I would recommend the scallops with XO sauce and squid in black bean sauce. In total there must have been about 25 of us on various tables and everyone enjoyed their food.

Thank you to all the staff Pearl and Len Walker

Had the sharer for 6 even though there was only 5 of us as we wanted the duck pancakes (who doesn't.... Well maybe vegetarians). Food was good and plenty of it

This restaurant serves the best authentic Chinese food in England. I have been to London, Birmingham and Manchester Chinatown, but this is among the best. Needless to mention the very friendly staff and management. Definitely 5 stars

Best restaurant we've been to in a long time for a work event before visiting Tata Steel up the road. The Queens Cantonese is run by a special family who touched our hearts. It was a pleasure to meet regulars like old Albert who turns 87 this December. Such a great, charming and authentic atmosphere!

Been years since I've been here and was pleased to see the business still going strong whilst on a recent trip to Wolverhampton. Restaurant just as I remember it and the food as fabulous as ever. Everything is fresh, plentiful, beautifully presented and delicious. The staff are attentive and friendly. My favourite Chinese restaurant and well worth a visit.

Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant, warm & welcoming service. Friendly attentive staff who perfected the balance between privacy and good service. Above all else however was a very tidy well kept restaurant serving amazing food in well sized portions. Great options of drinks to suit

I was in Wolverhampton on a vacation 2 months ago when I found the Queens for a solo date. The food was amazing in every sense of the word! And very affordable too. The atmosphere is calming and nice staff too (especially the lady :), although I’d have appreciated a faster service). The banana Fritz is the best dessert I’ve ever had in my life. Loved the experience.
