An easy hike through the forest for about 20 minutes in the direction of descent and ascent During the week, 3 entrances to the cave 10, 11:30, 13:00 Friday and Saturday, the last one is at 15:00. Outer clothing and closed shoes are MANDATORY. I recommend visiting it, the walk is very pleasant and the tour guide is a very kind gentleman!

2M EUR spent for a cave that needs reservatoion in order to open. The entrance is blocked with a stone and obviously someone is using it as a tyre storage... Shame...Shame...

For anyone that would like to visit this cave, beware that you will trek all the way to the top just to find out that it is closed and only operates via schedule from Wednesday to Sunday. Great investment from the EU of 4.9 million leva just to be closed.

There is a long walk to the cave and is not accessible to people with mobility challenges. The cave are extensive and give good impression of rock formations in the local area. There are no significant caverns within the terrain but it was good to see the under water rivers which give you an impression of how the caves were formed. The lights could do with some improvements to bring the best out of the formations. The guide only spoke Bulgarian and this meant is was not accessible to none speaking visitors of the language. Bring good walking shoes and jumper. Still worth a visit.

Make sure to visit this awesome cave. It takes about an hour to take the tour and is 8 leva per student and 10 per adult. Must have a reservation.

Unexpectedly large cave system. Home to several species of bats. Cool place to escape the heat of late summer, and a bit of a work out to get to as well.

*November 18th 2022 update* Website: "closed July-August will accept visitors September 2022". I called today, and was told it's closed till April next year and open ONLY April-May, Which one is it??? That's very confusing, it would be helpful to update the website.

The cave was closed, with little information on how to find it, but the pathway starts front the spring in the parking where You can find a map. It is a 30 minute way slightly uphill through the forest, and this is the most interesting part, I saw a dear, non venomous snakes, cocroaches and butterflies. The path goes further but we decide to go back.
