Visiting the waterfall and the eco-trail is a perfect one-day getaway from the city. Named Skoka, the height of the waterfall is about 50 meters, making it one of the highest waterfalls in Bulgaria. The altitude of the waterfall is just about 280 meters above sea level, which makes it very easy to reach even for those who get tired easily. There are two options to reach the location of the waterfall. You can either drive for about 10-15 minutes on a dirt road and park your car some five-minute walk from it or you can park the car at the beginning of the dirt road and walk for about an hour to reach the waterfall. The dirt road starts just outside Veselinovo village in the direction of Karnobat city. Caution for the drivers - if your car has a lower front, it might not be a good idea to drive up the dirt road as there are many stones that might damage your car. After you reach the location, there is a sign on the trail indicating the exact location of the waterfall. You will need to go down a steep 30+ meters path which has wooden handrails installed. Keep in mind that if it is raining or has rained recently, the path will be covered in mud and going down might get quite dangerous. On the way down, a spectacular view opens in front of your eyes as you get so see more and more of the imposing waterfall. You can both hear and see how the water goes down the rocks and crashes on a few large, smooth river stones. There is also a small crystal-clear pond from where the water continues to flow as a stream downwards. The whole ambiance makes your senses relaxed to the fullest as you hear the echo of the whistling water falling above you. The plummeting waterfall will make you feel refreshed as the area is naturally supercharged with negative ions which is great for your health. After you’ve marveled at nature's beauty, don’t miss out the few interesting locations close to the waterfall - the caves, the smaller waterfall and the Sofrata site, a forgotten Thracian sanctuary up in the mountain.

It was quite an adventure to get there, but the location is very beautiful. Unfortunately, at this time of the year (June) there was no waterfall, it was dry. The best time to see it is in spring and/or winter.

The road to the waterfall is terrible, we have almost damaged our car. The place is beautiful, however no water in July.

Not very easy to find because of some mistaken Maps location, but easy to reach after getting to the right place. Accessible for children. The beautiful nature surrounding the waterfall makes the short walk very pleasant. There are good places for photos all the way up.

21. Mai 2023: Kein Wasserfall, da das Wasser fehlt. Fast 4 Kilometer Schotterpiste und ein rutschiger Pfad lohnten eher nicht.

Поворот сразу после села Веселиново, дорога грунтовая (но в нормальном состоянии) в целом проедет любая машина, но лучше конечно джип). По грунтовой дороге ехать около 4х км, потом есть небольшое место где обычно паркуются машины, есть 2 спуска в низ, к водопаду. Первый спуск по длиннее, но более оборудован, второй спуск это просто тропинка под большим углом. Мы были в апреле, и оба водопада были без воды, жаль... Есть несколько мест с остатками от костра ( думаю можно устроить пикник )
