We looked a lot on Google for a traditional restaurant in Shumen and found this one in a corner of the city. The restaurant is quite basic, but actually with lots of Bulgarian dishes. Menu only in Bulgarian, so a nice lady helped to choose as we also used Google to show images. We got a feast. We had tripe soup, French fries, chicken hearts on a skewer, shopska, fried stuffed peppers. On the house they offered a pita with fill and sour cream plus grilled pork ears with onion. The food was in above mid size and delicious, we really enjoyed it. The offal especially was great. The prices are low, service is efficient.
