Great place to visit if you are near Šibenik. Very nice and friendly staff, comfortable cafe just inside the place with local brewery. Don't forget to take an interactive augmented reality tour and listen to the history of the place, it's quite creative. The view from the place is amazing. You can see both the seaside and the city. Parking for the visitors is free and right near the fortress walls, but be careful driving uphill - the road is a bit stiff and narrow, some cars might be moving in the opposite direction at the same time

Loves the iPad demo sessions really brought it to life. Friendly staff Empty at 9am and still cool enough to enjoy the sunshine as all stations are on top of the wall and unshaded. For scots a challenge Great view

Attended Croatian travel festival here and it was amazing. Sunset and interesting lectures. It can't get better than that.

Very nice stronghold. The story of Sibenik is linked to this fortress. From this fortress is possible to view the whole Sebenik and the bay. It is possible to view a very amazing sunset. The ticket for this fortress is 10 €. But I suggest to buy the bundle of 11€ which allows one to visit the other two Sebenik fortresses.

It was absolutely beautiful, the view is breathtaking. If you are visiting with family I recommend a family ticket for 3 fortresses so you can visit st. Michael's and st. Ivan's fortress too.

Amazing historical fortress used in defense of Sibenik against the invading Osmans by baron von Degenfold and brave people of Sibenik despite the fact that then ruling Venetians completely left them dry of support.

The fortress is very nicely refurbished and has fantastic views. It is a bit hard to get up there as the path is quite steep. The audio guide is quite good as well, it offers some interesting insights into the history of the fortress. Going in the morning is highly recommended as it gets very hot later in the day.

It's rather small, you can walk around only for couple of minutes 10 max. There is free parking lot for visitors. I would overthing buying tickets here because I'm not sure if it's worth it. I would go to the biggest one.

A beautiful view of the entire Šibenik. My rating will be high because we came at a time when there were no tourists at all; we had the entire fortress to ourselves. Stunning view, tranquility, silence, and a bar with good beer. I highly recommend it.

Really nice concerts for very cheap. The view is amazing, the drinks reasonably priced, the staff really nice and speaks English and the toilets are spotless. What else could you need? A piece of advice, though: take a cab to get there if you don't want to be a sweaty mess by the time you get there, even if google says 13 minutes from town centre. It's a good climb.

Great place to visit, to have some leisure time for walking, with beautiful and breathtaking sinery of the Adriatic sea. There is also lovely café for some rest and chilling. Definitely worth the visit.

Really good walk around and the augmented reality really adds to knowledge of Sibenik and the fortress itself. Great views and grab a drink to soak them in.

Great place to visit (get an audio/video/tablet guide) but even more enjoyable for an event. From time to time here are film screenings and small concerts. Depend on the time of the year it might be chilly in the evening. There is also a bar.

One of Sibenik‘s four bastions, beautifully restored and with an amazing view over the bay and city. Also our kids loved the interactive AR guide a lot!

An impressive fortress particularly with the short time it was built. Great views over the town and surrounding islands. The ticket gave you access to those fort and the adjoining St John's Fort. You can also get a combo ticket for St Michael's Castle too. We discovered there were some parking spaces right next to the fortress, reserved for visitors to the fort. This wasn't clear when looking at the website.

We've taken a combined ticket (Barone Fortress and st Michael Castle). Price interesting for students. Awesome view over Sibenik. I didn't took the tablet with reality augmented explanations, but my friend liked it.

Nice sightseeing point in Szibenik. You can see a great panorama view for the whole city and other characteristic points.

It is very nice view to the islands, marina, bay and whole town. However also nice view you can see from another fortress (st. Michaels fortress). At this place only nice view and nothing interesting more.
