Friendly staff. Our room was very small. We, a group of 6 people, asked in advance before planning our trip to Sicily if it's possible to work at the hostel and they confirmed that there is a large area with desks and wifi, a good place to work. That is incorrect. There were barely any powerpoints but most importantly, the wifi broke down constantly. Also, it was very slow when it was working. I couldn't do a low-fi video call with only myself using the router. We had to make substantial changes to our trip as a result. If one person can't work there, it would be a great deal worse for 6 people, so we moved to a different region.

Nice hostel. Really clean, nice location close to bus station and 15-25minutes walking to ortiga. I’ll give 4 stars because the atmosphere wasn’t that good. It seems the hostel pretends to be a hotel and make some money with it. All depends on the guests that are staying, the owners and staff do not create an atmosphere. *important thing (at least for me) you have to know is familiar hostel too. Is open for kids and school groups. During the night they were screaming and playing early morning too and can be annoying for some guests.

Easy check and checking out process. Staff were all friendly. Room was basic but clean (12 bed dorm) and came with lockers plus keys for free. Location was great, right next to the train and bus stations and only 15~ mins walk to Ortigia. The bar was open til 0130 with friend bar staff, nice tunes and cheap drinks. Would recommend!

The dorm rooms have lockable space and en suite. The lockers are good, and they give you keys for them. The beds are quite rickety, made of squeaky metal, and without privacy curtains, but beds are comfortable enough. Towels and linens provided for free. The hostel was quite quiet when I visited, and not much was happening, but the hostel does try and put something on every night.

Liked it quite a lot. Really close to bus and train station. Old town only like 10min away. Commun area really nice with the bar. Room with AC and for the locker no lock needed.

Perfect location sandwiched between the train and bus stations and a 20 minute walk from Ortigia. However, this place is filthy. You can see the accumulation of grime on all the doors, remotes, and chairs. The bathroom smelled of urine despite the cleaning staff cleaning it every day. I personally witnessed the staff throw the uncovered pillow and duvet on the dirty floor while stripping the bed and place those same two items on the bed for the next person. They did this every changeover, I never saw the duvet be changed. The kitchen was disgusting. Dead bugs and rotten food in the fridge. The storage bins for utensils look like they’ve never been cleaned. Usually all kitchen items needed a cleaning before use. The beds were uncomfortable, you can feel the springs on your back. It’s a shame because the hostel is actually very nice and the staff are friendly but I can’t overlook how disgusting it was.

It's a great central pretty very clean hostel. However, the wifi doesn't work in the dorms, the tap water is undrinkable and the music in the common area is so loud that its hard to communicate. You even hear the music extremely loud in the dorm rooms, for me that's a huge downside of this hostel. Maybe it's a party hostel or something similar, however, it's not advertised as something like this. I believe the loud music is the reason why it's a bit difficult to connect with people in this hostel, everyone seems very much to themselfs. The kitchen, is in the middle of the main common area, well it's more a small gas stove and a fridge. Weird location for a kitchen but it has all whats needed. The staff is very friendly and helpful, knows a lot about the area and gives good recommendations. It's the music mainly for not giving all stars. Trip typeHoliday

I write in English to make aware of how nice is the staff, hearing that there is a great variety of Gins at their bar. Eventually there's a chance to enjoy a nice happy hour at the open air. Great knives to be used properly for cooking 🍳 ♥ And great open space for even getting to know fun people!!! Stayed for almost one week, It was worth also for being on a strategic area Unfortunately didn't have the chance to great them GOODBYE but to be honest the receptionists are talented on languages, maybe some other things I didn't see as well, smart, and open to conversation, especially Nicolas! Have a great greattttt day & thanks a looot for everything. Big huggs Marta Colonnello

The best hostel in the best location. Syracuse and lolhostel are my #1 after 4 months the of traveling and stating at over 20+ hostels. Directly next to the train station, 20 minute walk to anywhere including two beautiful swimming spots. The hostel is super modern and nice but there aren't too many beds/rooms so you actually make friends with people unlike the huge hostels that have too many people and feel like hotels. Couldn't recommend this place more highly and I can't wait to come back!

12 days in Sicilia and the worst experience. No soap in the bathroom, dirty bedsheets, broken toilets, disgusting smell in the toilets. When I asked to refill the soap distributor, I was told to wait until the following morning! One night there was far enough. Let's hope that I did not come back with bed bugs! Only positive point is the good location near the city center. We could park near the railway station at no cost. It us such a pity that hygiene is no good and that ni breakfast is proposed.

Very close to the bus and train station, and still convenient to most places (nice flat walk) thanks to a free bus taking you to the historical center, Ortigia. The staff is super friendly, the room I was in had 4 beds and a private bathroom. Sheets, lockers and towels are included, there was plenty of space and aircon kept the room cool. It was noisy at night in the street but could have been a one off because of nearby bar, and with closed window it was ok. The metal structures of the beds means you can hear/feel when the person above you moves, but other than that it was very good value for what you get and I recommend it.

Not helpful manager and staff. I had a mistake in the day of my booking. Spoke with the manager, didn't agree to cancel it through booking refund my whole amount. Claiming that he will be charged by booking the full price. Nonsense. Booking takes 18% of the whole booking. And the tax is 22%, meaning that's 40% max. Do not recommend.

I loved staying in this hostel ❤️ The hostel is super clean with a very nice common area and kitchen. Everyone was super kind to me. It is very close to the Ortigia Island as well as the bus & train station and supermarkets. Overall perfect ❤️

Great hostel, feels more like a hotel. Perfect between the historical parc and the old city centre, and next to the train station. It felt a bit anonymous and wasn't very inviting to meet new people. However, beds are very good, ac works, everything is mega clean and the staff was really helpful and very friendly!

Friendly and welcoming staff that speak good enough English to communicate. Rooms small and minimalistic but they do their job, just like the bathroom

Date of visit: July 2022 A bland hostel. All depends on the guests that are staying, the owners and staff do not create an atmosphere. My impression that the main focus of this hostel is to make money from you not to encourage traveling or make you feel at home. There are attempts to make this hostel feel more alive but so far they seem undeveloped and desperate. Dorm rooms have a weird juxtaposition between feeling very sterile yet also quite rotten. Dirty showers and toilets, and bugs crawling around. Stay here if you want, as it's the only hostel in Siracusa. If I would do this again, I would visit Siracusa on a day trip by coach from Catania (where there are nicer, cheaper, friendlier hostels)

Its an alright hostel. The mattress is a bit worn, the breakfast simple, but it is fairly clean and the staff is very friendly. The location is the biggest issue. It is placed at the central station a good 15 min walk from the historical center. Based on the price, I think one can expect more.

I stayed at this place for one night. The hostel is located a few meters away from the main station and a couple of minutes walk to Ortigia. The staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean. It was a pleasant stay.

If you want to be awake till 3am - 5am it is perfect for you, but if you want to sleep don't come here. In the women's only dorm you hear the music of the hostel bar so loud as if you are standing next to the box. Complained at the staff several times and they said they would change and put the volume down but the night after same thing... I have never experienced this kind of things in a hostel and I've been to tons..
