Had a little problem with the first coffee shot for my iced flat white. Seems the machine wasn’t working properly. After talking to the barista he made me a very well extracted shot. Thank you for taking the time!

The Island Grocer is a hidden gem, but is often overlooked. They have many things that are unique and nice but nobody knows. The advertising budget seams to be zero. If you like good coffee, a nice talk with the charming waitress and when you are looking for a real Balinese atmosphere try it out. You will be richly rewarded! I come again, thank you!

A small cafe with 5 tables, where you can order coffee and visit a unique store with products of healthy food and aromatic practices. I personally really liked the honey of the wild bees. Some of the products you can try before you buy. If you're into healthy living, you'll probably enjoy shopping here.

Sometimes you have coffee so good that the craving can only get fulfilled by having something better or equally good. Since I found nothing better I keep coming back to the Island Grocer for my needs. You will also find a really extensive collection of locally produced goods, from dried dragon fruit to marmelade and even cleaning products and everything in between. If you are hungry then grab a kebab from the next door neighbor that shares the premises. On top of all this the staff is amazing, welcoming and just a joy to be around. Don't miss out of this place, there will be zero regrets, only wishes to go back. I almost forgot to mention the crafted beer from Stark that puts most other beers to shame.

At this place I made some lovely friends, had great coffee and matcha latte, ate super yummy icecream, and bought some really good and useful products. I like that they have organic products, homemade almond milk, delicious icecream that I could eat every day :-D , and lots of products that are not easy to find elsewhere in Bali. Very worth a visit! ♡
