This ground is under Kangra police (HPP). The ground is always open to all people. Some years ago gaming activity (ie. Cricket, football, athletics) was done in the ground. But now a days ground condition is not good.There is a lot of problem especially during the rainy days, no arrangement for drainage of water, So the ground is getting worse. Apart from this, the ground has been uprooted from place to place.

This is a rather unique tourist spot, being a tourist spot due to the distinction of being the highest cricket ground in the world. The views are really amazing, specially in winter and early summer where you can see snow clad mountains in the background. Good for a quick visit and photo session, but not a MUST on the itinerary.

Police ground dharamshala is great for playing, or doing workouts lots of people visit this place daily. There is no restrictions , anyone can go anytime and can perform whatever activities except when the ground is reserved for any police function like police bharti etc
