I so want to write something nice about this quite beautiful and original hotel, it's like something from an Agatha Christie novel, full of lovely original features but it needs a lot of money spending on it. Good bits. Free WiFi. Central location for the old part of the city. Working (sort of) air conditioning in the bedroom. The adhan from the beautiful old mosque nextdoor was amazing and not a recording like you get from most. The staff were friendly and did their best. Soap in the bathroom. Bad bits. The bedding had not been changed from the previous hairy sweaty individual. We asked for a change and they had to buy new sheet and pillow cases for us. The sheet was way too small and ripped when we tried to put it on. We saw the mattress... We feel the mattress had seen a murder. The pillows possibly were white at one point, now they are solidified sweat. Fortunately the power kept cutting out (normal for Lebanon) so I did not have to see the full horror. My olfactory senses were already screaming. The bed was the noisiest ever and with a light sleeping baby it meant we had to not move at all lest we woke her. My wife had to sleep under a towel as no clean blanket had been provided. The floors were sticky... Everything was sticky Bathroom was ok sort of, it just needed a deep clean. Soap was provided. Something moved in the room when we entered at night, I am going to be generous and say it was a lizard as the alternative is grim. It's expensive given you have a grim bed and no breakfast. It could be so so so so so nice. I wish I had money to buy it and do it up.

I found the team helpful, the hotel isn't measured by stars... this the only place that would rent you out a room in the old souq of Saida.. So dont expect from them an amazing service, its something that at least does the job and give you a place to sleep when needed.. for sure, i really urge them to have the rooms cleaned better & wash the covers more often.. :) humidity is there as its next to the sea, so in summer time expect a bit of bad smell on the bed covers itself.. its an old city, old hotel with few rooms & amazing food & coffee shops around the hotel. last but not least, the saida people are so generous, brave & very helpful!

An old building complex within the grand bazaar. The towels and linen must be old as the building. Be aware and get ready for mosqito fleet!

Slept 2 nights. So many mosquito... Can't sleep... Other things are ok, clean and spacious, the shower is great.

The hotel is very well located, right in the middle of Sidon’s old souk. It is an old house with beautiful and atmospheric rooms. Wi-Fi was provided and at the time of our stay electric power was off between 2:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. (which can be a problem on hot days, especially when the aircon is not working). It is definitely not the cleanest, but we paid 20 dollars so I guess it wouldn’t be fair to complain.

Doesn't offer much in terms of service and amenities. It's only a place to lay your head on a pillow. The location is great, though; right in the thick of downtown Sidon.

Nice location, but air conditioning doesn't work, room was too cold, and dirty, and warm water isn't always available.... Very disapppinted 👎i'm lucky, spent only 2 nights
