Fantastic quiet spot, amazing views and full of tranquility. We stayed here 4 days in July and we loved it. The place with the sunroof on the upper level with its panoramic view and quiet and relaxing atmosphere was awesome. The pool was spectacular and the hosts were more than great and helpful! When you walk to Pari through the woods you can see everything from deer to foxes. Thanks again to the hosts Susanna and Francesco!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights last week and we totally loved it! We stayed in an apartment by the pool, which overlooks a perfect view of the Tuscan hills. The apartment is more spacious than we expected and had everything we needed. It was clean, cosy and had great facilities. Of course the location is the star attraction, with perfect views even in the rain (which it did a lot whilst we were there unfortunately), but given the beauty of your surroundings, not even rain can get you down. The hotel owners are such wonderful people who truly went above and beyond at every point. They were so friendly and helpful, from offering us a bottle of their own wine (made on location!) to driving and collecting us to and from Pari (the closest village with a fab restaurant serving delicious food). They even let us stay beyond check out time to enjoy the sun that had finally come out for us on the last day! We were sad we hadn’t spent longer here, particularly as it is a great base for exploring vineyards and medieval towns.

Perfect!!! ..and more! I do usually write comments unless it is bad but now I feel I need to emphasize how much we enjoyed our time in Poggio alla Rocca. We stayed in both Ginestra (2 days) and Corbezollo(another 2 days) apartments and both were exceptional. The Apartments are very spacious, fully equipped, the view is extraordinary, the pool is crystal clear. I have traveled in many 4 or 5 starts hotels and apartments over the years in vacation and with work and I never felt as good as we did in Poggio Alla Rocca. I want to leave the best things for last and these are Susanna and Francesco, the owners. They are extraordinary people, they made everything for us to have a wonderful stay. Each morning they had prepared caffe for my girlfriend and tea for me with biscuits, no charge. They offered we didn't have to ask. They offered wine also. Everything we ask from them was met with "No problem". We have fallen in love with them and Poggio Alla Rocca and we will definitely come back again. I will find some time in next days to post some pictures too.

A slice of heaven. We highly recommend this Inn. It is the perfect place to stay in Tuscany. A close drive to any of the must-see towns, this place offers stunning views, a beautiful pool and the amazing hospitality from owners Suzanne and Francesco. They made my family's stay exceptional. We had a brand new cottage (the pictures don't do this place justice) which was decorated in authentic Tuscan style with all the modern amenities. We enjoyed cappuccinos each morning, sampled their homemade wine and olive oil, and they treated our family to a homemade Roma Pizza. Our 4 day stay was not long enough! A definite highlight of our tour of Italy.

Myself, my Wife and 18 month old son were lucky enough to stay at Poggio Alla Rocca for 5 days recently and had a fantastic stay. The location is beautiful with amazing reviews across the Tuscan landscape. The facilities are excellent and Susanna and Francesco are fabulous and very kind hosts who have clearly worked very hard to make their home such a special place to stay. If you are looking for a relaxing location, peace and tranquility then this is the place to stay. It also makes a great location for visiting all of the wonderful places in southern Tuscany and is only 30 minutes from Siena. All in all Poggio Alla Rocca is a beautiful place to stay and to experience the beauty of the region and warmth of the people.

This place was the "coup de Coeur" of our entire trip in Italy. Francesco and Suzanna were very hospitable, even offering us a bottle of their homemade wine which was delicious! The place itself is absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the pool overlooking the Tuscan landscape both mornings and finished our evenings admiring the colorful sunset sky during our dinner at the table beside the pool. We regret not having stayed longer as we would have loved to spend a day or two simply relaxing by the pool. A few things to note, Poggio Alla Rocca is truly a secluded area and there are no restaurants, shops nearby. We recommend picking up your dinner while in a nearby village and bringing it back to enjoy the views while dining. The apartment is very nice and clean. Bring your own shampoo and body wash, if you are missing anything else simply ask Francesco and Suzanna! Also getting to the location you must go up a bit of a steep and tight gravel road. All of which were no issue for us. Highly recommend staying here, do not hesitate, just book! Will definitely without a doubt be returning when in Tuscany. Grazie mille!!

Amazing, dreamy and peaceful location, perfect spot for our honeymoon. We had a fantastic stay, really enjoyed the pool, the view, the wine, the home made pizza and coffees and the fantastic bbq facilities. Susanna and Francesco made us feel so welcome, their passion and care makes the place even more special. We will definitely come back here soon!

We were lucky to stay at Poggio alla Rocca for 3 glorious nights in one of the apartments overlooking the pool and the most amazing view. Not only is it a fabulous location but the hosts were a delightful couple who were eager to assist if required but also gave you the privacy you need. Thoroughly recommend this accommodation.
