With a last minute decision to come here for dinner, our two couples decided to give it a try. Although not expecting a "deli" like experience, it was far from that. The proprietor was gracious and direct. He and his staff were obviously very proud of their products and the care with which they prepare and present all the food. The fact that the salumeria had history in Siena made it all the more enjoyable. We followed his recommendations for the platter of cured meats and cheese, the beef tartar and the homemade fettuccini with ragu. The wine selection was also perfetto! If you want a meal that is absolutely delicious with no frills and great service, come to Antica Salumeria Salvini... you wont be disappointed! Mangiamo!

This is a perfect place to stop in and grab some great food to go. We were looking for food for a picnic and called them and they were very nice and also spoke English. We got salami, cheese, artichokes, bruschetta, and bread. They were very nice and the food was great.

I arrived in Siena area very late in the evening and after we did the chekin to a villa in the area we looked for a place to eat at 10. We found them on google maps after reviews. it was an excellent choice. the owner told us in English that it is a family business from father to son, the oldest of its kind in the area. made the presentation of the products and I chose a tray with everything on his recommendation and some salads. the products were incredibly good. everything fresh and very beautiful presented.

Stunning find, an inviting welcome And true artisan cured meats including delicious salads and cheeses . The friendly sommelier has an amazing selection of wines by the glass . A real taste of Italy.

We had lunch here and it tasted very good. The pasta was good, but the plater of meat (the picture is the size for one person, we shared it all) was delicious. Everything was so tasty and the wine was a nice pairing. Also, we were there with our doggo and he got small treats from everyone too😂

Must visit place for picking up food or casual lunch. Great homemade authentic food and really nice wine selection by glass and bottle.

Incredible food, fresh, delicious and homemade. The people are very friendly, we came back three times. Definitely try their cold cuts, we also enjoyed the burrata and their daily appetizers.

Superb! This is some of the best food I've eaten in Italy! The food was excellent, the staff pleasant, and the restaurant clean. Would highly recommend!

Authentic food and nice service!

The cold cuts and cheese platter was absolutely perfect!

we came here based on the very good reviews. We had some cold cuts platter, vegetables and a bottle of wine. The cold cut platter was good (12 euro per person). The vegetables were good, nothing spectacular tough, but the price was very high in my opinion: 2 euros for 1 small potato croquette, 5 euro for a small portion of mixed veggies in oven, and so on. Beside this, we got added on the bill something expensive as well which we did not ordered (our problem since we didn't checked the bill before paying). We bought a wine for 12 euros (the owner mentioned that it was the most sold wine), but it tasted like a 2 euros wine. we also had 1 piece(3cm X 1cm) of riciarelli at 4 !!! euros. All in all we ended up paying 80 euros for 3 persons and a toddler for the above meal. Overall, I understand this is a delicatesse shop, but the taste did not really cater for the overrall very high prices.

Roots and culture meet at Salumeria Salvini. Perfect for a light lunch with cold cuts and some veggies. Staff is kind and helpful, cold cuts are well renown even amongst locals. The wine list is top notch. Always good vibes and good food. A true place for the soul.

We were here today for lunch, owner and staff are really fantastic and friendly ! We eat a ribollita (typical dish of Siena) and a platter of cured meats. Anyway, I can said that all is very good. Obviously accompanied by a good chianti. Prices of wines and dishes is very good (cheaper respect others worst places). sure we'll came back :)

Amazing restaurant!! We were on a tour of Tuscany and stopped there by chance. It may looks like any other grocery/restaurant but the tenants are so welcoming and they genuinely like their products. Especially the butcher, he is a hell of a man! Eating there makes you feel like a resident and not like a tourist
