Nice and calm atmosphere! We could drop off the car at the hotel and walk/ take a bus to get into the center of Siena. The staff, Lorenzo was super kind and the breakfast was great! Strongly recommend!

We were staying for three nights here, and everything was just perfect, starting at the spacious, and very clean room, following the lively location which is both close to the city (short walking distance from Siena old city) and having a rural feeling, and above all the warm hospitality of the entire staff and especially Giacomo. Will be more than happy to stay there again.

I wish there were more stars, true hospitality. Lorenzo was very personable and was a perfect host, The chef made every morning special for us with his attention to detail at breakfast- served on a sunny terrace with great views (be sure to ask after his kids), he has great stories. The rooms were spacious, with plenty of light, mini-bar and good toiletries. Lorenzo was a wealth of knowledge about where to go, the time it took, how to get to and from, etc etc. Ask him - he knows! The Hotel had delightful decor and one of the rooms we had contained an original ceiling fresco. Properly situated within an easy walk (20 min) or bus ride (10 min) to the inner walled city of Sienna. The parking was extremely helpful, much better than fighting for space within the walls of the city for sure! Highly recommend, when we go back, we hope to stay again.

It is a gem in Siena, we loved the location and Jacobo was so welcoming, as well as the breakfast staff. They were so helpful and made us feel so at home.

Great hotel and location, good breakfast and setting. Reported 10 min walk is inaccurate or just to edge of city up hill and 20 min to central walk is much longer up hill. Take the bus to center end. Location via maps is inaccurate or gets confused since building set back. Maps tries to use incorrect Via della Luglia. Should be SR2 number via Enea Silvio Piccolomini number 135, to entry drive N43deg18'21.4sec, E011deg 20' 31.7sec or N43deg 18.4181', E011deg 20.3507'. Maps has trouble finding street Piccolomini, so when SR2 turns left at traffic light on Girolamo Gigli, one is on Piccolomini and watch for 135 or GPS point to gate. DO NOT turn ontoVia della Luglia! Staff very helpful, recommend hotel especially since can park vehicle on property. Bus stop is Valli.

Beyond perfect stay! Can not recommend enough. From initially checking in to our entire stay the experience was second to none- all staff are so warm and can not do enough for you. The Villa itself is beautiful with stunning views of Sienna. A short 15 minute walk into the centre of Sienna the location is perfect especially if you are driving as they offer parking on site. Thank you again for a wonderful stay- hope to come back again.

Historic converted building with fantastic views (and easy parking) a 20 minute walk away from the centre of Siena old town. Breakfast was a nice continental buffet selection

Incredible hotel with the best views and rooms in Siena! Absolutely would recommend this beautiful boutique hotel to anyone traveling to Siena. Staff is amazing and Giacomo who works the desk is always there to make your stay better. Can't wait to go back soon.

We had a fantastic stay as this beautiful hotel that has been crafted out of a 18th century villa. Giacomo and Lorenzo were excellent hosts with valuable knowledge, kindness and care. The room was immaculate and beautifully furnished. A short bus journey or 20 minute walk into Siena. The views out over the city were breathtaking and the garden was a beautiful. Thank you for a lovely stay.

My husband and I recently had the most enchanting experience at the Palazzo di Valli in Siena. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with exceptional hospitality that made our stay truly unforgettable. Giacomo and Lorenzo, the dedicated staff at this charming hotel, went above and beyond to ensure our visit was nothing short of magical. The moment we stepped into our room, we were captivated by the breathtaking view it offered. Overlooking the picturesque Siena landscape, our room provided us with a glimpse of the Italian Villa experience we had been yearning for. It was beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable, making it the perfect haven after a day of exploring the city. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious breakfast served at Palazzo di Valli. Whether savoring the perfectly brewed coffee or indulging in the fresh spread and pastries, the breakfast alone was worth the visit. What made it even more special was the opportunity to dine on the terrace while taking in the stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The location of Palazzo di Valli is ideal for those looking to explore Siena. With just a short 10-minute walk into town, we were able to immerse ourselves in the rich history and vibrant culture that this city has to offer. The convenience of being so close to the heart of Siena, while still enjoying the tranquility of the Palazzo, was truly a winning combination. Without a doubt, we will be returning to this exquisite hotel on our future trips to Siena. The hospitality, the room, the breakfast, and the location all contributed to a stay that exceeded our expectations. Giacomo and Lorenzo made us feel like family, and for that, we are forever grateful. If you're seeking a truly magical and authentic Italian experience, do yourself a favor and book your stay at Palazzo di Valli. It's a gem in the heart of Siena that we can't wait to return to.

My husband and I stayed in November 2022 for only one night but the hospitality of Giacomo and Lorenzo made us wish we could stay much longer. This was not just a place to stay but an experience. The hotel, once a summer home for a preeminent family in Siena (we found their family crest everywhere in the city) was beautify situated right outside the city walls (making parking much easier) and with a breathtaking view of the valley and the city. Lorenzo and Giocomo had such a passion and love for Siena that they had us wishing we could explore every church and museum. They not only helped us pick some choice places to visit in Siena based on our tastes, but gave us suggestions for routes and stops on our road trip. Because of them we had a picturesque and uncrowded drive into the Val d'Orcia that we will never forget. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and comforting, we especially loved the local cheeses. I highly recommend the Palazzo di Valli for any stay in or near Siena.

We've enjoyed so much our stay in Palazzo di Valli and can't wait to come back there! Hospitality of the place is at top level - during our stay we felt like visiting close relatives and not just staying in hotel. So cozy and warm atmosphere. Giacomo, thank you so much! The location is just perfect. Especially who travel by car - there is a parking inside and it's just 15 - 20 minutes walk from the very centre of Siena. Breakfast was delicious and the room was clean. The view is fantastic. Highly recommended!

The experience in this hotel was amazing for us. The hotel is very near the old town of Siena. You can go Piazza Campo by walking in only 15 minutes. The rewiev of the garden is perfect. You feel just like you are in the center of Tuscany. The rooms was very good decorated and clean. Dear Giacamo and his collegues were very polite, friendy and wellcoming. The breakfast was very delicious; especially the coffees. If we come to Siena one more time we would stay at this hotel again exactly. We recommend to everyone staying at this hotel in Siena.

A superb accommodation option only a short walk from Sienna. Giacomo, Lorenzo and Serafin were 10/10 hosts who made the stay exceedingly pleasant. Giacomo particularly was a wealth of knowledge on sights and eatery options, the breakfast was amazing and the view over the Chianti Hills was perfection. Look forward to staying again soon.

A nice bed and breakfast getaway right outside Tuscany. As the town is mostly students it's nice to stay right outside the town for some peace and quiet (especially at night). The owners are marvelous and very friendly. A delicious breakfast is served everyday from 8 to 10 on the 1st floor. We heard about establishment from friends and there recommendation was well warranted. The rooms are beautiful aswell. Their recommendation was well warranted. Heavily recommend!

The rooms were delightful (even though like many Italian bathrooms the shower was a bit of a tight fit). Breakfast in the morning is wonderful and the setting just can't be beat. And the staff are the most wonderful and accommodating I have ever encountered. I would absolutely stay there again and recommend it to anyone going to Siena!

This hotel is fantastic. A beautiful farmhouse with a view of Siena. Really nice staff that take the time to recommend great restaurants and sites. It's a 10 min walk to Siena and there is also a bus stop that will take you to the main square (20 min walk) which we really appreciated in the heat. Lovely place. We would stay again!

Managers are very nice and available for any help you may need. Location is also very nice and the views from the terrace is pretty amazing. The location is perfect if you need to come by car and don't need it in Siena: parking is inside the property and the walk to the city center is an easy 10-15' or you can even choose to go by a quick bus ride just outside of the hotel. The A/C unit in the room wasn't producing much heat but the central heating worked well. Personally found the pillows not great but this is subjective and personal. The small restaurant nearby is ok but a bit overpriced. It's overall a great place to visit Siena, with a very nice quality/price rate and beautiful views of the valleys nearby and Siena skyline. Being able to have a free parking so near Siena is a very important service to be offered as parking inside the city can cost easily 30/35€ per day. Go for it!

While I know that our Reception Manager is commonly applauded, I cannot in good faith omit mentioning how helpful and forthcoming he is in everything he does for his guests to feel welcome and at home in this 300 years old (in the same family ownership), but totally modern mantion so beautiful and elegant, but accessible and friendly all at once ! Well done, Lorenzzo !!

BEAUTIFUL hotel! The staff is absolutely wonderful and welcoming. Rooms are clean and spacious, with an impeccable view from all sides. Breakfast service was lovely. The hotel is a short walk from the city center. Much more pleasant than staying within the city. Highly recommend!

Historic house converted hotel. 10 min walk to Siena old city gate. Lorenzo was very helpful with parking, local information and tips. Breakfast was of decent standard - and with a view that can’t be beaten! Will be delighted to stay there again when I return.
