We really enjoyed our two night stay! Food was incredible (I recommend having dinner there at least once) and the views are phenomenal. We felt at home and the room was better than the previous two places we stayed in Italy. Bonus was a large bathroom with space for all my toiletries! The family that runs the place is so nice and accommodating. We did not have a car and had no problems getting to and from the Agriturismo via taxi. Great getaway from the busy cities in Italy and only 10 euro taxi to downtown Siena.

We spent a delightful 6 nights at this welcoming agritourismo! The setting is beautiful, only 4 km from old town Siena (and only one hour drive from Florence.) The room was just fine, air conditioning (thank goodness as if was HOT!), clean and very functional. The hostess was very helpful, prompt, efficient and friendly - as were the rest of the staff we met. We had a delicious dinner on our first day there (we explored other venues for our Tuscany culinary experience the rest of the days.) We highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to explore central Tuscany!

Property is beautiful and the hosts are amazing. Nadia and Renato have down a wonderful job making their home welcoming to people. Nadia greets you every morning with a beautiful smile and welcome. She has a delicious breakfast and coffee waiting for you. We stayed in the Geo-Suite which is lovely. We were able to walk in to Siena and enjoy the city then go back to the peaceful countryside at Agriturismo Marciano. Thank you Nadia for helping us make special memories in your beautiful home.

Staff is so unfriendly and unwelcoming! You'd think after years of no business from COVID they would welcome guests with open arms. The only one remotely friendly is who I refer to as the "mom." Food is good but very small portions and the dinner, while delicious was so overpriced and they made us feel guilty for turning it down each night after we attended the first night. While the location is great and the farmhouse beautiful it's extremely loud. Blaring music from across the canyon every night and the hallways and doors are very loud and they don't tell other guests to be quiet. Also the floor in our room squeaked so loud that it needs to be fixed! Also got a stern talking to when asking about the radiator as our room was freezing one evening in early May! Looked forward to this place the most on our month long stay throughout Italy and it ended up being our worst. We way over paid and not happy about it! Will not ever recommend. I expected a warm Italian experience and it was anything but!

This is a lovely agriturismo in the heart of Siena. We arrived to a warm welcome by the host, Nadia, although her husband didn't seem to want to interact much and kept to himself. Our room was large enough to accommodate our family of 4 and the bathroom was gorgeously appointed. The A/C also worked very well to fight the sweltering heat. After our first night, we asked Nadia for an extra blanket so that the kids didn't have to share one, but instead we were told to lower the A/C instead, which didn't really address the issue. We were left a little perplexed. That said, the room was very comfortable, clean and quiet and we slept very well during our stay. For breakfast we were given the option of sweet or savory... we sampled both and it was delicious and plentiful, with something for everyone. We also opted to have dinner there twice and everything was homemade and absolutely delicious. Although the pricing of the dinners made sense for the adults (with wine included), we felt it was a little high for our 2 boys, aged 13 and 10. We sampled several of the wines that are made in-house and they were all delicious. Note, there are also 3 charming cats that share the property and our kids loved playing with them. Due to COVID, we had to take our laundry to a local laundromat (less than 10 minutes away), but otherwise, we felt comfortable and taken care of during our stay. The location of the agriturismo was excellent, with easy access to Siena only a few minutes away and plenty of amazing restaurants just a short drive away. Overall, I would recommend this agriturismo if you are looking for the true Tuscan experience for your family and want comfortable, spacious accommodations.

We were blown away by our stay here! Our experience really made our Siena trip memorable and we can’t wait to come back. After coming from Rome, this gorgeous and peaceful agroturismo was a much needed change of pace. Nadia and her family were so sweet and made us feel really welcomed. We had dinner one night there and it was honestly one of the best we had on our whole Italy trip. Nadia was so accommodating of dietary restrictions and dinner was amazing. We wished we’d eaten there both nights because it was so good. It’s about a 50 minute walk from Siena’s city center but they have bikes you can use, and the taxi service is very fast and affordable. It usually cost us $10-$12 per trip one way. We had such a great time we were sad to leave but appreciated our time there.

This is a beautifully renovated and maintained agriturismo. The rooms are impeccable- comfortable, clean, great shower, lots of charm. Absolutely delicious dinner, highly recommend, a level above even 'fine dining' we had in the area. Stunning views. There is peace and quiet here, the owners are kind and discreet.

The staff were warm, welcoming, and gracious during our stay in end of September. It’s evident that the team of workers enjoy their job, meeting people, and providing a wonderful atmosphere to relax in. Our suite was very comfortable and spacious. They cook meals using fresh vegetables and herbs from the garden, the meals are absolutely delicious with plenty to eat. They serve olive oil and superb wine made on their farm. One can take trips to renaissance cities nearby or stay local in old Siena. The staff communicated well with us. We would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend Agriturismo Marciano!

Staying at the Agriturismo Marciano was one of the highlights of our month long trip to Tuscany. We made our plans knowing we wanted an authentic experience in Italy. So a stay in an agriturismo seemed perfect. Once leaving Siena proper, we found that the narrow country road leading to the vineyard farm gave us a glimpse into what Italy was like before the modern era. That and the farm itself revealed a truer Italy than most tourist get to see. Our rustic surroundings were laid back and easy. The family made us feel so welcome and allowed us to enjoy the premises. On the only down day we allowed ourselves, we toured the winery, did a wine tasting with a lunch, and then shared our supper hour with other guests in the kitchen. Again, it seemed like a family event. The food was mostly home-grown or local and was prepared lovingly and nutritiously by Nadia, one of the owners who deservedly took great pride in the results of all their hard work. I'd be remise not to mention the home-cooked breakfasts waiting for us each morning. There were often other couples who came to the agriturismo during the day for wine-tasting or dinner. After a day of touring ourselves, we often got a bottle of wine from the cellar and enjoyed the company of guests on the loggia, the perfect place for a bottle of wine and interesting conversation. The rooms were rustic and preserved much of the original building, each being quite different from the others. They were clean and the staff was more than ready to meet any need that we might have. Interactions with the staff and family provided interesting perceptions of what life in Italy is like today for hard-working people. The agriturismo is close to Siena. Some of the guests staying when we were walked to the historic area, but it is not around the corner. Because it is not in the city center, so we opted to drive. The road was an adventure, but as with all things, we got quite used to this quaint part of town and it soon felt like home. This is a wonderful place to stay if you want to experience life more as an Italian than an American. You'll take home insights and memories. (The only reason I gave some categories 4 stars instead of 5 is that being more in the country and an original farmhouse, it cannot meet the expectations of the city person looking for an American hotel. It is authentic Italy and an experience in itself.)

We stayed 3 nights at Agriturismo Marciano and had a wonderful stay. We stayed in the Suite and it was very large and comfortable. The setting outside of Siena is very peaceful and relaxing. The breakfasts and the dinners were superb. They use all fresh ingredients from their garden and Nadia and Irene are excellent cooks. Their wine is also excellent and you are able to purchase it. We would have eaten there all 3 nights but one of the nights they weren't serving dinner. A special thanks goes out to Nadia. Five days prior to our arrival at Agriturismo Marciano I had taken a hard fall down the concrete stairs while leaving the Rome airport. I was having a lot of hip pain. I asked Nadia if she had any recommendations of where I could go for an x-ray to see if I possibly had a hairline fracture. She told me it would be hard to get service in the hospitals but she said she would call a private clinic first thing when they opened the next morning. So the next morning right at 8:30 she was on the phone with a private clinic and she got me an appt. As it turns out she had previous surgery with this doctor who just happens to be the doctor for a couple of the professional soccer teams. She couldn't have put me with a better doctor. Dr. Andrea Causarano was so kind and he spent so much time with me which you never get from the doctors here in the United States. And the fee was minimal. He had me get x-rays which were negative for fracture and gave me a non steroidal anti-inflammatory med to take. So thank you Nadia for getting me in so quickly and to such a great doctor. We would definitely come back to Agriturismo Marciano.

Highly recommend gorgeous home with incredible views! Beautiful room, big shower, with good air conditioning. We really enjoyed a wine tasting and tour of the vineyard and cellar- our guide was very informative. Delicious homemade breakfast prepared according to our preference. Our host Nadia was very sweet and helpful! Our favorite place in Tuscany- wish we could have stayed longer!

An absolutely lovely stay. Highly recommend. Nadia is really wonderful and helps foster conversations between guests. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous—truly something out of a magazine. And it’s very close to Siena (less than 10min drive)! Highly recommend to stay here and we will hopefully be coming back!

The hosts are amazing and so helpful. The property itself is fantastic. Wine in the evening on the patio. Breakfast was delicious in wonderful atmosphere. And Siena is just a short drive for dinner and night life.
