Beautiful hotel in a medieval walled city. Old brick everywhere with all the modern amenities. The staff is outstanding. More helpful than most I've encountered. The only challenging aspect is the drive through narrow streets filled with people. Our GPS got it wrong. The front desk led us in by phone

Such a great stay for 3 nights during our honeymoon. Friendly helpful staff who helped us make dinner reservations. Not sure about the other rooms, but Room 6 is *enormous* (the size of an apartment) with fun streetside views. Glassed-in-cube of a bathroom with tub at the center of the room, 20-ft high ceilings, and comfy bed. We spent one day IN Siena but otherwise it was a home base to drive around Tuscany. Ask the hotel for parking instructions so you can drive into the old city to drop off bags first before parking the car a 5-10-min walk away just outside the city walls.

Beautiful and well appointed accommodation. Genuinely friendly and helpful staff. I would check availability here if I return to Siena in the future.

A gorgeous medieval castle converted to a hotel. The location is great because it is in the middle of the city but not on a crowded street. Walking distance to all the attractions. The rooms are very spacious and decorated in modern furniture. The staff are incredibly friendly and very helpful. They started responding to my emails even before I got there and helped me find cooking class, restaurants, wineries etc.

A fabulous contrast of history and design. Chic, stylish and innovative but complimentary and harmonious with the medieval palazzo building. Our red cube room was SO special. A 5 star luxury experience with beautiful bath, fluffy white towels and fabulous view onto the beautiful old streets of Siena. Breakfast was top class with high quality products included, healthy mueslis and nutty granolas, tasty pastries, fresh juice and delicious coffee. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Everything was brilliant value for money. We’ll be back!

An amazing experience. Very kind staff, specially silvia, very helpfull all time. Well located in.the center of siena. The hotel is really nice decorated and you can feel the atmosphere of an old palace. Rooms and facilities are totally ok.

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. First of all, the location is excellent. It’s just a few minutes walk to every site in historic Siena. What really made a huge difference is how friendly and helpful all of the staff were. Ilaria, Silvia, Claudio were so engaging and fun to chat with. We learned so much about the city from them. They also made restaurant reservations for us and booked a wine tasting tour at a nearby farm. Finally, the breakfast buffet is really good with a great variety to choose from. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Siena.

Best hotel experience we had during our entire Italy trip. The level of hospitality shown by the staff was unmatched. The hotel itself is a beautifully restored building from the 1300’s and the rooms are spacious, funky and very clean. The included breakfast was a feast of deliciousness.

Such a gem. I was so stunned by the building and the room. Their staff is the nicest, very patient and kind. In fact, I am absolutely still stunned by how beautiful and unique this place is...it's been a week since I was there. It is an unforgettable place.

In my opinion this is more of a B&B than a hotel. There are only a small number of rooms and it doesn't have a large lobby or 24 hour desk service. The room was very nice, but the lighting was dim. The room setup was unusual - a studio type with a glass enclosed bath. The toilet area was another room. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but with a limited variety. We got lots of input from the staff on where to tour which was a perk. The area is hard to find - we drove around for an hour before we finally called them. If you have a lot of luggage, they have a car service that will be very helpful. It's a 50 euro charge but well worth it because the alternative is parking below the city and taking an escalator up to city level then dragging your suitcases down cobblestone streets.

Beautiful building, with really comfortable rooms in the historic centre. We stayed in a cosy room (Room 2) and it was a really nice size, quiet, and very clean. The managers/staff were really helpful and attentive.

Gorgeous hotel done up very well by preserving the historic architecture and introducing minimalist modern facilities. Staff are extremely helpful and warm, absolutely loved our stay here from a chance encounter

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this charming hotel. The room with the panoramic view was worth every penny and the hotel staff were so helpful and sweet. I cannot wait to go back.

Good location. Helpful staff. Very tastefully decorated. It’s probably only got 20 rooms so has a real almost family feel
