My wife and I exclusively rented the apartments at Villa il Borghetto for twenty-nine (29) guests the week of our wedding. Cristina and Claudio went above and beyond at every step of the reservation process, and we fully and unequivocally recommend this accommodation - it was fantastic! We reserved the rooms sight unseen, based on many positive reviews. Cristina and Claudio graciously sent us all of the information we would need in preparation for our stay. They answered many questions and communicated professionally, promptly, and efficiently. During the stay, Cristina & Claudio were extremely helpful to us and our guests. They picked up a couple of guests from the train station whose train had been severely delayed until late in the night, they helped us arrange a special dinner by private chef for my parents, they procured pastries and juice for a group brunch, they had many local recommendations for food and drinks… on top of all that, they were also available to us (and our guests) whenever needed. They truly embodied “hospitality” during our stay. We got a chance to see all of our guests’ rooms, as well, and they were all clean and thoughtfully appointed. Overall, it was an excellent stay with kind, caring hosts at a charming and comfortable villa. (Note to future guests, 29 was the maximum occupants for individual beds, including singles.) We visited Tuscany and decided ahead of time to use Siena as our base. Our travel agent sent us a selection of (non-hotel) places to stay. After reviewing all of them, we chose Villa il Borghetto and we DID NOT make a bad choice. Everything was perfect in the apartment and Cristina and her entire family are the perfect hosts. We will be returning to Italy soon and we are definitely staying here again!

We stayed at Villa il Borghetto during the summer of 2020 and had the most wonderful time with our 3 year old. This is a family-run heaven in the heart of Tuscany: Cristina and Claudio, together with their parents, welcomed us warmly and immediately made us feel at home. They made sure that we had everything we needed without even having to ask. The owners are clearly passionate about the place and they put all their heart into making it as welcoming and relaxing as possible. The property was sparkling clean and very well equipped - Cristina and her family were also very flexible and provided additional appliances to make our stay even more toddler-friendly. The Dépendance is an absolute gem! If you think it looks beautiful in the pictures, wait until you get there, it's 10x better! Il Borghetto is very conveniently located, a 5 min drive (literally!) from Piazza del Campo and center of Siena, but right outside of the crowded areas, so you get the best of both worlds. We can't wait to go back!

Hospitality 5++++ The stuff is really cares about the guests We had a real apartment with comfotable kitchen ,balcony with a view on toscanian 🌞 set.3-4 min drive from sienna, you can go waking in the evening into the city and explore the area.

Amazing host, we were on our honeymoon and Claudio offered the biggest room with the biggest terrace. The view is great and the apartment confortable.

We rented an apartment with balcony for 2 nights. The checking process was easy. This is a family business . The hosts were very friendly. They showed us the apartment and explained how everything worked there. It has a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, a small bedroom and a balcony with a nice view. The apartment was very clean. Although it's a historic building, all the equipment was functional and well maintained. The location of the villa is a big advantage. It's close to the roads junction, so it's convenient if you want to travel in the area. Easy to get to Siena by car (paid parking) or bus. Very to the commercial area with a supermarket and other stores. Overall. it was a pleasant experience. Highly recommended.
